“Shyla is wonderful. I cannot stress how wonderful she (and her family) are. This was the first time we boarded our pups somewhere other than their vet’s office. After leaving our pups with her and heading to Mexico, we learned that my big black and tan coonhound has a real separation anxiety issue, which our vet never mentioned. He was awful for her. Really awful. But she (and her family) treated him with love and kindness, even as he made life incredibly difficult for them. I won’t ever board Ulysses and someone else’s home, but I am grateful that I not only learned about his separation anxiety problem, but that he was in a place where he was cared for, even when it was hard to do so. Shyla is a great communicator, sending updates and pics multiple times a day, and quick to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Shyla highly enough.”

About: Grew up on a farm with dogs and cats. My mom is a breeder for Bernese Mountain Dogs so I’m not afraid of big doggies! Experience with new litters and all sorts of breeds. I’m a graduate student so my schedule is flexible making it easy to watch pets during work hours. I also work from home as needed. I know schedules and routines are very beneficial for anxious pets. While you are away I can walk, feed, bathe if need be and make sure they are taken out regularly.

About: Hi I’m a student staying in College Station for the summer! I grew up with multiple dogs and a cat so I’m very comfortable with all types of pets. I have a lot of free time this summer and miss spending time with animals. I would love to help out with pets in the area! I currently work part time but limited hours, so I’m available pretty much any time during the week. I am home most of the time, but I try to stay active so I go to the park almost every day to run or walk. I have an open living room space and live on the first floor of my condo. There is a dog park down the street from me which is about a five minute walk, usually empty, and fenced in for them to roam.

Weekends are entirely dedicated to your fur baby, filled with long park adventures, tons of playtime, and hands-on attention. Your pet's safety, comfort, and peace of mind mean everything to me. I live in a university-approved, pet-friendly ESA space on the Texas A&M campus. It’s a calm, secure, entirely smoke-free home designed to be a relaxing safe haven for visiting animals. Having raised 13 cats and safely delivered litters, I am hyper-aware of 'escape artist' behaviors. About: Just a girl away for college without her cuddly friend. Looking to take care of other cutie pies. I’ve worked with older cats who take medication to young puppies. Big, small, cat, dog, I love them all! I'm a college student at Texas A&M. I am however taking an easier class load because I am about to graduate. Whoop! So I have quite a bit of free time. I just about do it all! I walk, water, feed, play, and clean up after. During my visit I also try and take the best pictures of your pet! Its always a fun time but the pictures always end up a little 🤪

About: I am very dedicated when it comes to taking care of dogs. I make sure each pet feels at home, comfortable, and loved. I enjoy playing with them, giving attention, and making sure they are happy and safe while their family is away. Right now, I have plenty of time to care for pets because I stay at home most of the time. My schedule is very flexible, so I can give full attention and care to each pet. I have a playpen that my dog, Nina, really enjoys for her sunbathing time. Pets can relax safely there and enjoy the fresh air. About: Hi!! I have been dog sitting for the last 5 years! I have just recently joined rover due to moving to college station area. I am constantly around animals, having them myself, and am willing to learn an adapt to your animals needs. I am committed, trustworthy, and loving. I am open to sitting, overnight stays, walking multiple times a day, etc. I am available full time on the weekends and part time during the week! I am super flexible to make your life easier in hopes of families being flexible with me as a student! I currently live in a townhouse near campus with a good sized fenced back yard!! We do have an upstairs but it is gated! My home is super dog friendly with my miniature dachshund living there with me full time!
