About: I have owned all kinds of animals all my life. I have had a wide variety, but at the moment care a cat, a parrot, a bunny, sugar gliders, rats, fish, and of course my dog. I was a dog walker for a bit and have pet sit for friends. I have taken care of senior dogs with stricter demands and also little puppies with lots of energy. I love animals and will treat your fur child as if they are my own. I just graduated from college and am taking a year off so will have more time to petsit. I will be able to drop by whenever needed and work around your routine. I can follow whatever needs you place for your animal in your home. My animals have a variety of demands so I understand that every animal has different needs.
“Wonderful dog sitter! Thank you for all the check-ins and accommodations! Nala loved having Emilie care for her! Will definitely consider using again and have already recommended Emilie to others!!”

“Did a great job with very little notice! Reliable and trustworthy. We realized when we got home we had left $300 cash out on a table - we had left for an emergency and didnt think about making our house "presentable" or anything - and it wasnt touched at all. Wouldnt have expected her to take it or even thought about it but it just goes to show how respectful she is to not only pets, but the homes she visits.”

“2nd booking in two weeks. She cares about my dog Brian & always sends pics n feedback. She fed him per my instructions & kept my home secure. I definitely will book with her again”

“Guilda is great with Ike! Kept me informed throughout the visit and was very thorough! She also sent me pictures of my boy! She got here early and was very attentive! Will definitely use her again!”

“Rosa was excellent. I have a dog who is scared of everything and usually won’t eat while we’re away. She warmed right up to Rosa and was eating the FIRST day! She took extra care to make our pets feel safe during the storms. Lots of pictures and informational updates. Highly recommend!”

“Krystal's professionalism and genuine love for animals radiate in every interaction. Her attention to detail and dedication to providing a comfortable, safe, and loving environment for my dog were beyond impressive. Communication was outstanding! Krystal kept me updated regularly with photos and messages, which reassured me that my pup was not just taken care of but truly enjoying their time away. Krystal went above and beyond in catering to my dog's needs, ensuring not just basic care but also engaging activities and plenty of affection. Returning to a happy, healthy, and clearly well-cared-for pet was heartwarming. Trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate, Krystal sets the bar high for dog sitters. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking the very best care for their furry friend. Thank you, Krystal, for your exceptional service and unwavering love for animals!"”

“She did a fantastic job! I was super stressed to use a sitter because I always leave my god with family but I never have to worry about that again, she was super nice and communicated very well, and she even brought my packages in for me. I will defensively use her again in the future!!”

“Danielle goes above and beyond for me and my cats every time she sits for us. One of our cats was diagnosed with a serious condition right before our trip and if it hadn’t been for Danielle, I wouldn’t have been comfortable leaving. She is the best pet sitter we’ve ever had.”

“Katelynn was very kind and communicative. We had some last minute changes and she was very easy to work a new plan out with. My boys loved her and we'll be using again when we're in need!”

“So caring and really attentive to my baby girl Athena 10/10 would recommend and use again especially because you can feel her genuine concern for the well being of the animals ! Please consider for your next booking because I know I will !”

About: I have 7 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. In addition to personal pet care, I work in a veterinary ER setting, which has strengthened my ability to recognize subtle changes in behavior and prioritize safety. I’m experienced with puppies, high energy breeds, and senior dogs needing extra patience. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and keeping owners updated. Your pet’s wellbeing comes first, always. I work full-time at a veterinary emergency hospital and have a rotating schedule of four 12-hour shifts per week. On my workdays, I’m not available so I can stay fully focused on patient care. However, on my days off, I’m completely available and able to dedicate my full attention to your pet. I’m especially a great fit for weekend care, boarding, and extended stays when I’m off work. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a large outdoor area and access to multiple walking trails for regular exercise. I have one friendly, well-socialized dog who does well with others. I carefully supervise all interactions and can separate dogs if needed. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly and keep owners updated so they feel confident and informed.
About: I studied biology and received my Bachelor of Science degree from Samford University. I have interned and volunteered at the Birmingham Zoo as well as experience working as a kennel assistant at an animal clinic. Since I was a kid I’ve always had a passion to care for animals and believe that they deserve the same love and care as people do. I know that I will be able to show that with each client I work with! My current job is pretty flexible as I can set my own hours to work. I usually work early morning late evening, so anything outside of that works normally. For some situations concerning availability I am also willing to adjust if needed. I have a two bedroom apartment with a balcony as well as an extra large front yard and backyard around out building. The apartment complex also has walking trails/sidewalks and is less than 5 minutes away from Red Mountain.

Emilie is the best, as always. This was the first time one of my cats has needed to see a vet while I am out of town, and Emilie went above and beyond to make sure he was ok. It is such a relief to know my pets are in good hands while I am not there. Thank you again!!

Christina was amazing with our two cats while we were away! She followed all of our instructions and kept us updated with very helpful reports. She was even flexible enough to accommodate a last minute change to our schedule when there was a sudden emergency. We came home to two very happy cats and it’s all thanks to Christina!

We signed her on recently since our long-term cat sitter moved out of town. A very responsible and responsive A&M student, who was proactive and detail-oriented in all things. She was very good with our senior cat, and also took care of other things such as watering plants and other backyard tasks. Strongly recommended from our side, and we will be employing her for the future.
This is my second time having Jacquie watch my cat, and she has been wonderful both times! She was available on short notice, which was incredibly helpful, and she took great care of him while I was away. Jacquie is reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the pets she watches. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!

We are so grateful for the care and attention Cole & Casey gave our pets while we were away. Communication was excellent, and our pets were happy and well cared for when we returned home. We would definitely recommend Cole & Casey and would be using them again.

Abbigayl took great care of my diabetic cat. He got along great with her, even loving on her by the end of my trip. He was a great spirits when I got home. Her rover cards were great and sometimes a little funny. I look forward to reading & seeing pictures of how my boy was doing each meal.

Kristin is an absolute rockstar. This is the third time she’s spent a few days visiting with Potluck for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she shows our kitty. Kristin is always available, very communicative and dedicated to keeping Potluck happy and comfortable when we’re away. Highly recommend!

Kylie is so kind, caring and happy to help out! She was very open to changing things during her visits (I was trying out a new automatic feeder and wasn’t sure how it would work) and was very communicative, updating me during her visits. I have cats who aren’t super social and she was great with them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
