“Wonderful dog sitter! Thank you for all the check-ins and accommodations! Nala loved having Emilie care for her! Will definitely consider using again and have already recommended Emilie to others!!”

About: I have owned all kinds of animals all my life. I have had a wide variety, but at the moment care a cat, a parrot, a bunny, sugar gliders, rats, fish, and of course my dog. I was a dog walker for a bit and have pet sit for friends. I have taken care of senior dogs with stricter demands and also little puppies with lots of energy. I love animals and will treat your fur child as if they are my own. I just graduated from college and am taking a year off so will have more time to petsit. I will be able to drop by whenever needed and work around your routine. I can follow whatever needs you place for your animal in your home. My animals have a variety of demands so I understand that every animal has different needs.
“2nd booking in two weeks. She cares about my dog Brian & always sends pics n feedback. She fed him per my instructions & kept my home secure. I definitely will book with her again”

“Rosa was excellent. I have a dog who is scared of everything and usually won’t eat while we’re away. She warmed right up to Rosa and was eating the FIRST day! She took extra care to make our pets feel safe during the storms. Lots of pictures and informational updates. Highly recommend!”

“Krystal's professionalism and genuine love for animals radiate in every interaction. Her attention to detail and dedication to providing a comfortable, safe, and loving environment for my dog were beyond impressive. Communication was outstanding! Krystal kept me updated regularly with photos and messages, which reassured me that my pup was not just taken care of but truly enjoying their time away. Krystal went above and beyond in catering to my dog's needs, ensuring not just basic care but also engaging activities and plenty of affection. Returning to a happy, healthy, and clearly well-cared-for pet was heartwarming. Trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate, Krystal sets the bar high for dog sitters. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking the very best care for their furry friend. Thank you, Krystal, for your exceptional service and unwavering love for animals!"”

“We were very thankful to have been able to book Amelia fairly last minute. She handled our dog’s full body welcomes when she got into the house like a champ and provided an excellent rover card when her visit was over!”

“Danielle goes above and beyond for me and my cats every time she sits for us. One of our cats was diagnosed with a serious condition right before our trip and if it hadn’t been for Danielle, I wouldn’t have been comfortable leaving. She is the best pet sitter we’ve ever had.”

“She did a fantastic job! I was super stressed to use a sitter because I always leave my god with family but I never have to worry about that again, she was super nice and communicated very well, and she even brought my packages in for me. I will defensively use her again in the future!!”

“Katelynn was very kind and communicative. We had some last minute changes and she was very easy to work a new plan out with. My boys loved her and we'll be using again when we're in need!”

“Angel took exceptional care of my cat for an extended period. She not only provided the basics, but was lovingly attentive to this former stray, post surgery. Angel follows all your wants, needs & even strict instructions. Her care proved her to be honest & trustworthy. I highly recommend Angel for any pet services. Thanks again for the peace of mind you gave me. I will be booking with you again.”

“So caring and really attentive to my baby girl Athena 10/10 would recommend and use again especially because you can feel her genuine concern for the well being of the animals ! Please consider for your next booking because I know I will !”

“I am so grateful to Cody Lynn for caring for my two Chihuahuas and providing great support! Right from our first meeting I knew Cody is a lover of fur babies and that my girls would be in great hands! Cody asked great questions about personality, specific care requirements, their needs as older pups, and the best way to love them well. Her updates were timely and detailed, the pics she shared gave me such assurance knowing my girls were in good hands and well cared for - thank you Cody Lynn!!!❤️”

“Tyler is the absolute best pet sitter. He is the utmost professional and provides excellent updates and photos. We are always so grateful when we can book him. Thank you, Tyler!!!”

“Cassidy was great with our pups! We needed someone last minute to come and check in on our dogs when we went out of town, and we’re so thankful to have found Cassidy on Rover! She took great care of our dogs and house, gave them plenty of potty breaks, and made sure one of our dogs got her meds twice a day! And we loved getting the pictures and updates of each visit through the app. We would definitely recommend Cassidy for your dogs sitting needs, and hope to be able to use her in the future again!”

I cannot recommend her highly enough! This isn’t the first time she’s cared for my cat, Shadow, and once again she exceeded every expectation. Knowing Shadow was in her care gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She has an incredible work ethic and genuinely treats every visit as more than just a job. She is dependable, attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure Shadow is comfortable, happy, and well cared for. She pays attention to the little details, communicates clearly, and always keeps me updated, which means so much as a pet owner. It’s rare to find someone who is not only professional and reliable but who also truly loves animals. Shadow is comfortable with her, and that speaks volumes. After having her care for him multiple times, I can confidently say she is someone I trust completely with my pet and my home. If you’re looking for someone who is responsible, compassionate, and takes genuine pride in the quality of her work, she is the person to book. I’ll continue choosing her every time I need a sitter for Shadow!

Kylie is so kind, caring and happy to help out! She was very open to changing things during her visits (I was trying out a new automatic feeder and wasn’t sure how it would work) and was very communicative, updating me during her visits. I have cats who aren’t super social and she was great with them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bryan. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
