“Nora was amazing! She communicated well and sent us multiple updates on all our pets. She really took great care of them and sent us lots of pictures. Would 100% use her services again. Thank you so much Nora!”

“Liana took great care of our kitties and consistently communicated with us whenever she visited. She sent us pictures and informed us on whether they were eating and she bonded with them in a short time. We are very grateful for Liana's work and will definitely request her again the next time we travel.”

About: Hi! My name is Ashley Belknap, and I’m a graduate student at Texas A&M University. As a full-time student, I enjoy spending my free time doing something I love—caring for and walking dogs. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I currently have a Chocolate Lab of my own, so I know firsthand the care, attention, and exercise dogs need to stay happy and healthy. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply some extra companionship, I’m happy to help. I’m dependable, active, and genuinely passionate about animals. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am a full time graduate student at Texas A&M so I have different hours depending on my classes. I can get around to finding time for pet care any day of the week. I’m most flexible in the mornings and afternoons. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to go outside and live right across from a park. Inside is quite spacious we have had a few pups stay here for a night or two before.

“It was so wonderful to have Lailah looking after my cats. She gave me updates every day and they warmed up to her really quickly! I felt safe leaving my cats with her, and everyone was safe and happy when I came home.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 5 and since then have pet-sat for dogs, cats, chickens, fish, and turtles. Additionally, I have 5+ years of experience training and taking care of horses of all ages. I am currently working part-time 11 am to 4:30 pm on Mondays and 8 am to 4:30 pm Tuesday-Thursday. I am completely free Fridays and on the weekend. I am living in an apartment with a closed in grassy courtyard with no way to crate an animal in my home, but I do have a balcony.
About: Leaving your pet in someone else’s care can feel stressful, and I understand how important it is to know they are safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved while you are away. I will treat your pet like one of my own and provide clear communication, regular updates, and plenty of photos so you can feel confident and connected throughout their time with me! After years of caring for pets, I understand that every animal has their own unique needs, personality, routine, and comfort level. I take the time to get to know each pet, learn what makes them feel safe, and provide personalized care that helps them feel comfortable and at home. I have been loving and caring for dogs my entire life and have gained extensive hands-on experience through rescue and foster work. I currently foster for a rescue that specializes in senior dogs and small breeds, but I am also comfortable caring for larger dogs, including German Shepherds, Goldendoodles, and Labs. Additionally, I have experience working with shy dogs, energetic younger pups, senior pets, and dogs with medical or behavioral needs. I am also comfortable administering medication, providing slow and safe introductions, following detailed feeding and care routines, and taking calm, attentive leash walks. Whether your pet needs extra patience, plenty of playtime, quiet companionship, or a little reassurance, I will make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved. You can expect dependable care, honest communication, thoughtful updates, and plenty of photos throughout my time with your pup! I’m currently spending the summer in Colorado for an internship that only requires me to be on-site about once or twice a week. I also work remotely for an animal rescue, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be home most of the day. Because of that flexibility, your pet will receive plenty of attention throughout the day—not just quick check-ins. I can provide frequent potty breaks, shorter or longer walks depending on your pet’s needs, playtime, enrichment activities, feeding, medication, and lots of cuddles and companionship. Whether your pet enjoys outdoor adventures, puzzle toys, gentle walks, or relaxing on the couch, I have the time to follow their normal routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities! I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages and sized, including puppies, seniors, and pets with medical needs. I believe in slow introductions, positive reinforcement, and maintaining each pet's normal routine to reduce stress. I'll treat your home with the same respect I treat my own and will keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I also have experience administering medications and recognizing changes in behavior or health that may require attention.
“We're sticking with Silas because, over multiple bookings, he has consistently performed above and beyond. Will be booking another as soon as I finish this review. Very much appreciated!!!”
“Emily was able to help us out on very short notice and did a great job! Our mini Aussie can be a little tough but she was able to make her comfortable. Thank you so much!!”

About: I've been around cats, dogs, and other not so typical pets (rabbits, hamsters, goats) since I was born and currently have a cat and two house rabbits. I've dogsat for family and friends several times for several days to a week (usually for people with multiple dogs, including a pair of huskies). I have experience with small and large (mastiff mix) dogs and with dogs with severe fear around new people. I volunteered at a nonprofit rescue for two years that took dogs from hoarding cases, backyard breeders, and kill shelters, so I have seen a lot and dealt with a lot. I have experience handling and cleaning up after mom dogs and their puppies from birth until adoption and experience with cats with seizures and medication. I am new to Rover, but I hope that knowing these things about me will help you reach out! I'm currently available starting in the late morning (10-11 am) into the early evening (5-6 pm). Mornings and evenings are spent having some quality time with my own pets! I don't do a single thing that I wouldn't want someone else coming into my home to do, and I also don't push it if a pet is weary with me. I just sit down and ignore them until they decide we're okay and then move forward with spending time with them whether they enjoy playing or cuddling or going outside in the backyard more!

About: I currently have two kittens, Nala and Luna who are my everything. I've had dogs all throughout my life. I am doing this to fulfill my desire to meet and hang out with all sorts of pets. I currently live alone and work a 9-5 at an engineering research lab with a flexible schedule. Other than that, I am open and free to help with your pets. This includes weekends anytime, and also morning and evening stops at your house. I am open to learning anything that your pets need. I love playing with animals and ensuring that they feel safe with me. Anything you need including feeding, water, cleaning (changing litter box etc.) I'm all game for.
“We (humans and dogs) recommend Shedreanna! She came over for a meet and greet to meet the pups. She was punctual, kind, and good communicator. We will request her services again.”

About: I have maintained canine companionship since I was three years old!, My personal dogs were entrusted to my care right from the get-go. I have also gained invaluable experience during a three-year tenure as a veterinary assistant, where I assumed the role of lead assistant. Rosa has been absolutely wonderful with my Scarlett! 🐾❤️ From the very beginning, she has been dependable, caring, and so sweet with her. I feel completely comfortable knowing Scarlett is in such good hands while I’m at work. Rosa takes the time to make sure Scarlett gets a good walk, some attention, and plenty of love. She is also great about communicating and keeping me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind. Scarlett absolutely loves seeing her! Also Scarlett is a happy playful dog when I get home thanks to Rosa. I’m so thankful we found Rosa and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely caring to take care of their pup. She has been such a blessing to both Scarlett and me! 🐶💕

I am so grateful to Cody Lynn for caring for my two Chihuahuas and providing great support! Right from our first meeting I knew Cody is a lover of fur babies and that my girls would be in great hands! Cody asked great questions about personality, specific care requirements, their needs as older pups, and the best way to love them well. Her updates were timely and detailed, the pics she shared gave me such assurance knowing my girls were in good hands and well cared for - thank you Cody Lynn!!!❤️

Julie is so sweet and caring. I have a senior dog and I’m very anxious about him since he’s dealing with sundowning. Julie took the time to visit him the day before her stay to understand his quirks and how to handle him if he starts to get anxious during her stay. Mind you, she already met us but since our first visit, he started to show severe signs of dementia. This made me feel so much relief knowing she’s attentive and understanding. I felt so much better knowing he was in good hands 😊

Julie did so amazing with Emmy as well as my crazy demands! I’m very overbearing but she handled it so well! Anything we asked she would accommodate because she truly cares about the pets! I would recommend her to anyone EXCEPT on days we need her to sit with Emmy haha. Your pets will fall in love with her!
