About: I’ve always had a passion for animals and even trained my family dog to be a registered therapy dog. Growing up, I worked with him through the American Red Cross, bringing canine therapy to my hometown. I’m very comfortable taking care of dogs, working on training, and I love working with dogs of all sizes and breeds! As a medical student, I’m available most weekdays in the afternoons and evenings, and I typically have full availability on weekends. Feel free to reach out to discuss any specific needs! When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions you have for their care, stick to their routine, and ensure they’re comfortable in their familiar environment. About: I’m a huge animal lover that sadly can’t own my own dog in college, but still loves to be surrounded by them from walking dogs at shelters, caring for friends and families pets, and doing doggie day outs at the shelter. I’m going into my senior year at TAMU on the Pre-PA track and working part-time as a caretaker in the Bryan-College Station area for the Summer. I would love the opportunity to hang out and give love and company to anyone’s dogs who needs an extra helping hand, especially since I have so much free time on my hands right now. I have experience from puppies to older dogs, and personally have anxious dogs back at home who aren’t the best on the leash. Additionally, I have lots of experience, walking a wide range of dogs from the shelter. I volunteered at for the past few years. I work part-time as a caretaker totaling only about around 10 to 12 hours a week and only in four hour shifts, so even if I am working that day, I will still have plenty of time to visit and care for your doggie! I have personally dealt with having a puppy at home that at any chance tries to eat anything and everything. Safety is always a number one priority so making sure all items are out of snouts reach and that there is constantly water available and only administering proper amounts of food. I also know the importance in exercise for a dog so I will be there for that too!

About: Hi! My name is Gemma, and I am currently a student at Texas A&M University majoring in Ecology and Conservation Biology with a concentration in Zoology. I plan to attend vet school and become a conservation veterinarian in the future. I have had cats my entire life and have experience caring for dogs as well, so I understand how important it is to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I also volunteer with local animal organizations including LAPS and Paws and Claws, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for animals of different personalities and needs. I truly love animals and would be so excited to care for your fur babies like they are my own! During the summer, I have lots of free time and flexibility for pet care. I am currently taking one class through Texas A&M University and participating in research with my professor studying how temperatures affect summer wood ducklings. My schedule is very flexible, and I will always communicate clearly with clients about my availability to make sure their pets receive reliable and attentive care. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their environment. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and favorite routines, because I know consistency helps pets feel secure. I pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure pets are happy and stress-free. I also keep spaces clean, secure, and calm, and I treat every pet like they are my own.

About: I am currently a second year veterinary student here at A&M, so I am very knowledgable on animal health and behavior. I have been taking care of animals for my entire life, so I am open to any size, type, or any level of specialized care that they might need. I can also help with nail trims, anal glands and administering medications! This summer my schedule is very flexible, and only have a few weeks blocked off due to my externships that I need to attend. This allows me to work anytime that you might need! I currently live in an apartment, so that’s why I am currently not offering boarding. About: I have owned all kinds of animals all my life. I have had a wide variety, but at the moment care a cat, a parrot, a bunny, sugar gliders, rats, fish, and of course my dog. I was a dog walker for a bit and have pet sit for friends. I have taken care of senior dogs with stricter demands and also little puppies with lots of energy. I love animals and will treat your fur child as if they are my own. I just graduated from college and am taking a year off so will have more time to petsit. I’m especially a great fit for weekend care, boarding, and extended stays when I’m off work. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a large outdoor area and access to multiple walking trails for regular exercise. I have one friendly, well-socialized dog who does well with others. I carefully supervise all interactions and can separate dogs if needed. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly and keep owners updated so they feel confident and informed.
