“Julie was so helpful when needing a last minute boarding for my dog! She was so responsive and very good with him. I would recommend Julie to anyone needing to board their pup!”

“Mille was a fabulous sitter for my anxious pup Darcy! She was easy to communicate with and was attentive to my pup’s needs and quirks. She sent me pictures of Darcy almost immediately and then about every 2-3 hours, which made me feel so reassured. Darcy was happy and content at pick up. I’m confident she was in the best hands!”

“Our dog Taco had a BLAST! We went on vacation, but apparently so did Taco. Gisella sent us pictures of Taco 2-3 times a day and was very responsive. We can’t say enough good things about the family, and they worked with us on dropoff/pickup even though we booked with short notice. I highly recommend leaving your pet with Gisella if you want them to be left in a loving home with a loving family. We will definitely be booking with Gisella in the future.”

About: I grew up on a farm. Have had numerous dogs, cats and other species. I have worked at a pet resort and am currently a vet tech working at a local hospital. I am currently doing school and working part- time, but I know how to manage my time in between. For example, I love taking dogs on walks and doing interactive activities with them! I currently do have a senior dog that can keep your fur baby company. I have a fenced in yard, but I do also do walks. My dog goes on 2-3 walks a day + gets time outside in my back yard whenever she wants. She’s on a strict feeding schedule and has dietary restrictions which I also accommodate.
“Robert did a fantastic job of taking care of Lakshman during our Thanksgiving trip. Lakshman was not the easiest dog to take care of because he was recently rescued from the Aggieland Humane Society and still had some behavioral issues. Nonetheless, Robert was understanding of Lakshman's needs and kept me posted regularly during our trip. I highly recommend Robert to take care of your dog.”
“Ashley was great; she was very responsive, sent both video and picture updates of Tweek enjoying her vacation away from home. If you're looking for a friendly, pet-loving family to care for your furry-ones while away; Ashley and her family are PERFECT!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Matt — your friendly neighborhood sitter in West Bryan! I believe pets deserve a little vacation of their own while you’re away — full of comfort, play, and genuine care. I grew up with dogs and have always loved their company — big, small, shy, or silly, they all have their own personalities, and I enjoy getting to know each one. I’m calm, dependable, and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s a nap on the couch, a walk in the sunshine, or just quiet company, I make sure your furry friend feels loved and secure. I don’t have pets at home right now, so your pup gets my full attention. My schedule is flexible on weekdays, which makes it easy to fit in your routine — from drop-ins to overnight stays. I’m always happy to send photo updates and keep you connected while you’re away. Because when you travel, your dog shouldn’t just “make do” — they should have a great time too. My flexible weekday schedule means your dog’s “vacation” runs on their time — not mine! Whether that’s a morning stroll, lunchtime visit, or cozy overnight stay, I’m around when they need company. Because dogs deserve vacations and safe spaces! My home is quiet, pet-free, and cozy — the kind of spot pups settle into easily. I keep things calm, follow your care instructions closely, and always supervise outdoor time. Think of it as a stress-free stay for your dog — and peace of mind for you.
About: I am very dedicated when it comes to taking care of dogs. I make sure each pet feels at home, comfortable, and loved. I enjoy playing with them, giving attention, and making sure they are happy and safe while their family is away. Right now, I have plenty of time to care for pets because I stay at home most of the time. My schedule is very flexible, so I can give full attention and care to each pet. I have a playpen that my dog, Nina, really enjoys for her sunbathing time. Pets can relax safely there and enjoy the fresh air. I also like to take them for walks since there’s a park close to my home. I make sure they get exercise, attention, and lots of love during their stay.

“Thank you for taking such good care of Wolfie! I specifically chose Olivia because she has no other pets or children in the house and Wolfie has never stayed with a sitter so it was best for him. She was very attentive and libeling. He had a great time.”

“Jessica and Evan did a wonderful job caring for our pup, Moses. He was happy and had a great time playing. They sent multiple photos and videos ensuring us that Moses was well taken care of during our time out of town.”
About: I began pet sitting in high school, visiting clients’ homes to feed their dogs and give them playtime while owners were away. Over time, this grew into a passion for understanding canine behavior. My interest in psychology, especially behavioral and humanistic approaches, along with my love for dogs, led me to earn my certification as a professional trainer. Whether I’m doing drop-ins, walks, boarding, or housesitting, I ensure every dog is enriched and cared for. I welcome all breeds and temperaments as if they were my own. My schedule is flexible for all types of dog care—except boarding and daycare. I use positive reinforcement to help keep your pup both physically and mentally stimulated. I'm versatile and reliable, and I’m fluent in both English and Spanish to ensure smooth communication with all pet parents. I offer companionship and affection to pets in the absence of their owners, maintaining their routine and minimizing stress. In addition I maintain contact with the owners to update them on their pet's activities and wellbeing.
About: I have two Corgis myself! I have always had pets and taken care of animals. I also have previous vet care and pet setting experience. Right now Pet care is currently my full-time gig. Previously, I was working at home and could be fully attentive to our animal family members. My dogs are my children. I love animals and I treat other animals as if they were my own. I am extremely attentive and caring.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded not just by animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable with all personalities, temperaments, and care needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I treat every animal like my own—with patience, attention, and genuine love. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work outside the home, but I work close by where coming home at lunchtime to check on or check on furry friend it’s not a problem. I have a fenced in yard and I am very careful to keep the doors closed. I am responsible and aware of things going on around me.

“my 2 pups seemed to have a great time here! my husky mix normally doesn't do well with boarding, but they were very accommodating and let her stay in the kennel together with her brother. anytime I texted with questions or for updates on my pups, they were always very quick to respond. anytime I need boarding services in the future, Roy and Bethany will always be at the top of the list for my pups.”

About: Just a girl away for college without her cuddly friend. Looking to take care of other cutie pies. I’ve worked with older cats who take medication to young puppies. Big, small, cat, dog, I love them all! I'm a recent graduate from Texas A&M. Whoop! Due to this my schedule has opened up a lot. So I have quite a bit of free time to help other with their pets!! I just about do it all! I walk, water, feed, play, and clean up after. During my visit I also try and take the best pictures of your pet! Its always a fun time but the pictures always end up a little 🤪

About: I’ve had pets for 6 years now. I got my first Ragdoll cat in 2020, then raised a black Labrador from a puppy in 2021. We spent a lot of time together and went on a lot of trips, so he’s pretty used to new places and changes. My friends used to call my pets “travel pets.” In 2024, I also got a Siamese cat. I’m very used to having pets around all the time and spending long hours with them. I really enjoy being with animals. Being around pets makes me happy and gives me a lot of energy, and I’m more than happy to spend time just hanging out with them, playing, walking, or keeping them company. I’m a PhD student at Texas A&M, and I mostly work from home since my work is computer-based. I don’t need to go into an office except for occasional meetings, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I usually like to take pets out first thing after I wake up, and during the day I have plenty of breaks where I’m happy to spend time playing with them or just hanging out. I’m around most of the day, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I often watch my friends’ pets, especially when they go home for holidays or travel, so I’m used to caring for pets that are new to me. I’m pretty good at getting pets to feel comfortable quickly, and I always take things slow and let them set the pace. I keep my place clean and calm, and I’m careful about safety and routines. I want pets to feel safe and relaxed, not stressed.

I couldn't have asked for a better puppy sitter for Duck! He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for, and I had complete peace of mind knowing he was being treated like family while I was away (all of the cute pics helped!). I highly recommend Noor to anyone looking for someone who is dependable, caring, and truly loves dogs.

Mikayla & Stephen were referred to me by my neighbors. The second I stepped into their home, I was at ease about leaving my baby, Scout with them. I so appreciated the photos, videos, and texts provided. She looked like she was having a blast. Thank you all so much!
Robert is absolutely fantastic! We recently left our dog, Vern, with him while we were out of town, and we couldn't be happier. Since Vern is currently an only dog, getting the chance to safely socialize with Robert’s pack was a highlight—he clearly had a blast. Robert provided frequent updates and photos that kept us completely at ease. With his years of experience and his incredible, secure backyard, we knew Vern was in the best hands. We highly recommend Robert and will definitely be booking with him again!

Mary Jane was wonderful! She took such good care of our boy and she was so accommodating. It really eased my anxieties about leaving him for a night for the first time. She always communicated so clearly and quickly and was so patient and flexible with us. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
