“María is amazing! great at communicating and made me feel better about leaving my dog overnight (first time we’ve ever left our pup boarding) You can tell she loves pets and I felt great knowing my dog was left in good hands! I would definitely book again! Also a huge plus that she’s bilingual and made communicating easier for us! Thank you María 💗”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were very nervous having our dog board with an unfamiliar person for the first time. My dog takes a while to warm up to people, but Nadiia was very welcoming and took plenty of pictures to put my mind at ease. Miso definitely looked like he enjoyed his stay! Thank you Nadiia!”

“Barbara is a very sweet lady and took great care of my little Ruby. I like how they were able to keep each other company and go on walks with each other. We will definitely use Barbara again when we need to go out of town.”

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Growing up in a home with multiple dogs and cats, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior animals who need a little extra patience and attention. Friends and family have consistently trusted me to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or check-ins. I’m comfortable handling a variety of needs, including timely feedings and administering medications when required. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own family! I am available for dog walking or check-ins any day of the week and can be as flexible as you and your pet need, adapting to their routine and care requirements. I can crate animals as needed, let them outside for potty breaks, provide feeding, administer medications, and take them on safe, attentive walks based on their routine and needs!

“I couldn't be happier with the care Luna received! From the moment we connected, she was professional, kind, and genuinely caring. She kept me updated with constant feedback throughout Luna's stay, sent plenty of photos, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious Luna was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. The communication was excellent, and I truly appreciated knowing how she was doing every step of the way. I would absolutely trust her to watch Luna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and loving to care for their pet. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my sweet girl! ❤️🐾”

“Absolutely amazing. Boone had a blast Emily and her family handled my big boy with the best love he could have ever received. I will forever be using her for the care of my boy while I'm away. His big smiles in the pictures I received told me everything I needed to know. He was comfortable, happy, healthy, and safe with this family. I couldn't be more appreciative of them.”

“Heather was amazing. We met beforehand for a meet and great and I knew our dog would be in good hands. Heather sent updates and pictures throughout the stay. We will be using Heather again!”

“Shy did an amazing job with Benji. She treated him like her own and kept me updated with pictures and videos that showed how happy he was. It means a lot to know he was in such loving hands. Benji adores her.”

“Angelita is really friendly and responds back real quick with updates! Also has a nice big backyard for your fur baby to play around in! I will be returning back to her! A++”

“Very responsive and sent lots of pictures. My flight waa delayed and put me getting in very late but she was willing to work with me to have my dog stay another night. Plenty of space for the dog to run around. Definitely reccomend.”

“Elizabeth really helped us out during Hurricane Beryl. We have a very large golden retriever with a thick coat and he needs AC or constant swim time in the summers. We had no electricity for 2 days and he was suffering. She took him in without a meet and greet and her apartment had perfect cold AC and he was back in heaven! She kept him until the electricity was back on, on day 5. Also a shout out to woofGang groomers in Woodforest who kept him all afternoon in their AC until we could find a sitter! Good people, you can trust her to love your fur baby.”
“Hannah is the BEST of the BEST. Being completely honest, I am beyond picky with who watches my dog. I’m newer to the area, so I decided to finally take a chance on this app to find someone for when we go out of town. Hannah made me feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning. We did a trial day of daycare before he had a boarding session with her, and my dog who has pretty bad separation anxiety had so much fun with her and her dogs right off the bat! We proceeded to do the overnight stay and he was loved on so much, Hannah kept me updated with photos and updates. She is such a sweet and genuine person and I would trust her with my baby any day!”

The median cost per night for pet boarding in Willis is $38

At our meet and greet I felt like I’ve known Jessica my whole life. She met Ruby, we had a cup of coffee together. Jessica was very attentive to Ruby’s needs. She kept in touch with me because Ruby is a special needs dog. I would highly recommend Jessica. And I would use her again, absolutely.
Johana was amazing. I have never used a pet sitter before and was nervous about leaving my little Jack with a stranger. Johana was very accommodating with his needs and sent photos throughout the stay. I could tell he was happy and in goods hands. Would definitely recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
