About: I’ve always had a natural love for animals and tend to gravitate toward the pets in any room I’m in! I grew up with both cats and dogs and have always considered them part of the family. I currently walk my own dogs daily and have experience caring for pets while their owners are away. I’ve had many people entrust me to care for their furry (or scaly!) babies while they were away, and I’ve loved every experience. i’m currently a college student, so I usually have time during the day to check in on your pets when I don’t have classes! About: Hi! I’m Alana. I’m based in the Conroe/Willis area, but I’m currently a sophomore at UTSA pursuing my master’s degree in Psychology, so I’m also available in the San Antonio area! My mornings start with the 1st meal of the day, making sure water bowls are filled, they have gone outside & have done their business, & structured walks and individual attention giving my golden retriever the active start he needs, while making sure my senior pets have a calm, predictable routine that suits their pace. Throughout the day, I ensure everyone gets what they need, their dinner, their playtime in the pool, medication, & quiet snuggles. This experience makes me highly adjusted to different energy levels, medical needs, and emotional cues, and it’s made pet care second nature in both my daily and weekly routines. It also means I’m never far from a leash, a toy, or a comforting word because I truly love and live this life every day! They had lots of meds they were taking, and we had recently moved from several states away. I could tell that they were very comfortable with her! About: Bebe is a newly retired teacher that is now a grandmother/pet sitter. I am great with cats and dogs. I have had cats and dogs my whole life so I love caring for them. I have taken care of small to extra large dogs of all ages. Some have needed medications from pills to shots, to sprays, and I am fine with doing all that is needed in that area for your pet. I will love on your babies just like they were my own!!! I am currently a teacher, but work 1 minute from my home. I am free for overnights during the week and weekends, but only drop-ins during the week. If more is needed, my husband can help. Weekends are free during the day as much as needed, and of course during the summer months, I am completely free except for a vacation here or there. I only keep one dog at my house at a time unless there are 2 coming from a family, and they are comfortable with each other. I have 2 fenced yards and dog door access to both. One side has a pool, but if that doesn't work for your dog then we would only give him/her access to the dog door that leads to grass only. I have two friendly dogs that would be great companions, but if that doesn't work for your dog, then we also have ways of keeping them separated from each other. I would feed and water your dog in their own area, and I can sleep in a separate room with them if that is better as well. My goal is their safety and comfort while they are staying with me.

If I’m caring for them at your home, I always follow your rules and routines to make sure they feel comfortable and safe.

About: I would say I’m a pretty experienced animal lover - - whether that be for dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians - - young, old, sick, healthy. I’ve cared for pets for as long as I can remember, and I am personally familiar with the fears associated with placing your fur baby in the hands of someone you don’t yet know. Because of this, I take extra care to ensure pet parents are cared for as well as their pet by sending videos, pictures, and updates if desired. My best days this upcoming semester are Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends. I have some wiggle room on Monday evenings, Tuesday mornings/evenings, and I am unavailable on Wednesdays. I travel between Huntsville, Conroe, and Houston, so that is another component that influences my availability:) Just reach out and we can see if we can make something work! I am experienced in cat care as it relates to giving pills, clipping nails, administering subcutaneous fluids, bottle feeding, and of course cleaning litter, feeding, etc. My dog-sitting experience includes feeding and walking, giving meds, and watching overnight. I also am sensitive to the needs of animals who may be on the shyer side and ensure I provide animals the space to build trust with me.
