I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule, and I'm available most weekends to do check-ins. I update my schedule often so you're always in the know about my availability. Typically, my schedule is up to date a month in advance.

During home visits, I am careful to follow all instructions provided. A typical visit includes some, or all, of the following tasks: provide food and fresh water, clean kitty litter boxes, let outside or taken on a short walk for a potty break, playtime, and pets/snuggles if that's what your pet likes. I make sure to snap a cute pic or two during my visit, and then when I head out, I make sure all kennels, cages, and tanks are secure before locking up.

It's always good to know your pet's routines, if they like walks or to play with toys, their favorite hiding spot if they're shy, their diet and if they're on any medications.
A typical day
My dogs typically wake me up around 6:00am so I'm used to getting up early for the first bathroom break of the day. Typically, I'll feed my dogs twice a day, morning and evening, but I can work with whatever schedule your pet needs. All dogs are different in what they like to do, but I love going on walks/runs for the dogs that need the extra exercise as well as play fetch or tug of war. I've watched older dogs too that don't have as much energy, but can benefit from getting off the couch every now and then for a stretch. I'm happy to provide pets, brush them out as needed, and play with their favorite toys.

Bentley, my first dog, sparked my love for caring for animals over 7 years ago. Since then, I’ve fostered dogs through the local humane society and eventually adopted my second pup, Boone. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, and snakes, so I’m comfortable with a variety of pets and routines. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feedings, or just some extra snuggles, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

We moved here from the UK a few months ago and this was our first time using rover and first time leaving our 3 dogs with anyone else. Katelynn was amazing. Replied quickly to any messages, sent updates with photos of the dogs (who all looked so relaxed and content), was more than respectful in our home and left it exactly as we had. No trace she had even been here! I will 100% rebook with her and trust her completely with my fur babies 🥰
