About: I have 3+ years of house sitting for a friend's dog, feeding and water for his dog, and walking his dog twice a day. I have no special skills. I just have myself and a way of bonding with animals that I meet. I am currently unemployed, but currently looking for another full time job. About: I’m a huge animal lover that sadly can’t own my own dog in college, but still loves to be surrounded by them from walking dogs at shelters, caring for friends and families pets, and doing doggie day outs at the shelter. I’m going into my senior year at TAMU on the Pre-PA track and working part-time as a caretaker in the Bryan-College Station area for the Summer. Safety is always a number one priority so making sure all items are out of snouts reach and that there is constantly water available and only administering proper amounts of food. I also know the importance in exercise for a dog so I will be there for that too!

About: I grew up on a farm and have a lot of experience with different animals. I also have worked at a daycare and boarding kennel. Willing to check in on dogs, cats, and small animals. I am also able to feed farm animals such as horses, goats, sheep and others! I am currently in school during the week but have availability throughout the day and mornings and evenings, depending on needs. Also available during the weekend. For dog boarding at my place, I have a friendly dog that likes gentle play but am also able to keep your dog separated if that is needed. For cat boarding, I always keep my dog separated unless specifically told your cat likes to play with dogs! For drop in visits I am able to let your dog out of their crate if they are normally crated at home, and put them back in their crate after walking or potty breaks!

About: I've adored dogs my whole life and have cared for many since I was around 9 years old. I can do pretty much anything for your pets! I have experience walking, playing, grooming, poop-scooping, bathing, and administering different forms of medications (pills, ear drops, anti-fungal paw treatment, oral liquids). I do not reinforce bad habits such as jumping up on people, and I am familiar with dog body language. I have taken care of some of senior dogs, one of which needed help moving around and was mostly blind. High-energy dogs and young puppies are no problem! I do some basic training, too. Let me know if you'd like regular updates and I'll be more than happy to do so! I'm currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I usually work weekends during the day and sometimes a weekday or two. For house sitting, the amount of time I'm there depends on how much I work during the day, but I will be there in the morning and evening/night each day I'm there. I care for client's pets just as they instruct me to, but I employ my own knowledge as well. The safety of the pets comes first, and if I need to make extra visits while the client is gone, I will make more time to do so or visit on my breaks from work if possible. About: I am a college student athlete who always has and always will absolutely love and care for animals. With that being said, I love being active! I have owned and cared for many many animals aswell! Ranging from chickens to saltwater fish/corals! Back home (not the college station/Bryan home) we have a Great Pyrenees, and am well experienced with bigger breeds and understand their limitations but also their potential. I would love so much to care, sit, play, and walk with your fur babies as they deserve all the love in the world! As a student athlete my schedule mainly entails practice and home. I usually train 1-2 times a day and generally that is the only time I am away from home which is just a few hours. My number one priority is for your fur babies to get all the love and attention needed. Although I live in a condominium, it is rather large. There are several areas and trails to walk. Your pet would be allowed on all furniture and is offered all the outside time wanted with my wrap around patio and the many many walks taken throughout the day. I grew up in a home with multiple dogs—both small and large—so I’m very comfortable handling different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I previously worked at PetSmart as both a pet care associate and a dog trainer, where I gained valuable experience working with dogs of all temperaments, as well as cats and exotic pets. My training background allows me to better understand animal behavior, reinforce good habits, and handle pets with patience and confidence. Outside of work, I’m known for rescuing stray animals and even helping injured wildlife whenever I can—animals have always been a huge part of my life. “Shyla is wonderful. I cannot stress how wonderful she (and her family) are. This was the first time we boarded our pups somewhere other than their vet’s office. After leaving our pups with her and heading to Mexico, we learned that my big black and tan coonhound has a real separation anxiety issue, which our vet never mentioned. He was awful for her. Really awful. But she (and her family) treated him with love and kindness, even as he made life incredibly difficult for them. I won’t ever board Ulysses and someone else’s home, but I am grateful that I not only learned about his separation anxiety problem, but that he was in a place where he was cared for, even when it was hard to do so. Shyla is a great communicator, sending updates and pics multiple times a day, and quick to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Shyla highly enough.”

About: Grew up on a farm with dogs and cats. My mom is a breeder for Bernese Mountain Dogs so I’m not afraid of big doggies! Experience with new litters and all sorts of breeds. I’m a graduate student so my schedule is flexible making it easy to watch pets during work hours. I also work from home as needed. I know schedules and routines are very beneficial for anxious pets. While you are away I can walk, feed, bathe if need be and make sure they are taken out regularly.
