Liana took great care of our kitties and consistently communicated with us whenever she visited. She sent us pictures and informed us on whether they were eating and she bonded with them in a short time. About: Leaving your pet in someone else’s care can feel stressful, and I understand how important it is to know they are safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved while you are away. I will treat your pet like one of my own and provide clear communication, regular updates, and plenty of photos so you can feel confident and connected throughout their time with me! After years of caring for pets, I understand that every animal has their own unique needs, personality, routine, and comfort level. I take the time to get to know each pet, learn what makes them feel safe, and provide personalized care that helps them feel comfortable and at home. I have been loving and caring for dogs my entire life and have gained extensive hands-on experience through rescue and foster work. I currently foster for a rescue that specializes in senior dogs and small breeds, but I am also comfortable caring for larger dogs, including German Shepherds, Goldendoodles, and Labs. Additionally, I have experience working with shy dogs, energetic younger pups, senior pets, and dogs with medical or behavioral needs. I am also comfortable administering medication, providing slow and safe introductions, following detailed feeding and care routines, and taking calm, attentive leash walks. Whether your pet needs extra patience, plenty of playtime, quiet companionship, or a little reassurance, I will make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved. You can expect dependable care, honest communication, thoughtful updates, and plenty of photos throughout my time with your pup! I’m currently spending the summer in Colorado for an internship that only requires me to be on-site about once or twice a week. I also work remotely for an animal rescue, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be home most of the day. Because of that flexibility, your pet will receive plenty of attention throughout the day—not just quick check-ins. I can provide frequent potty breaks, shorter or longer walks depending on your pet’s needs, playtime, enrichment activities, feeding, medication, and lots of cuddles and companionship. Whether your pet enjoys outdoor adventures, puzzle toys, gentle walks, or relaxing on the couch, I have the time to follow their normal routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities! I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages and sized, including puppies, seniors, and pets with medical needs. I believe in slow introductions, positive reinforcement, and maintaining each pet's normal routine to reduce stress. I'll treat your home with the same respect I treat my own and will keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I also have experience administering medications and recognizing changes in behavior or health that may require attention.

I felt relieved to know my cat was in the hands of someone experienced in injection medications. She even checked the medication before administering it to him.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for dogs for about 4 years. I've helped family, friends, and neighbors by walking, feeding, playing with, and looking after their pets while they were away. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I always take the time to learn each dog's routine and personality. I know every pet is unique, so I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions if needed, and any special requests to help them feel safe and comfortable. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. My schedule is open and flexible and I'm able to build my schedule around pet care, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and companionship. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, feeding, or simply someone to keep them company, I'm happy to accommodate their routine. I'll work to maintain your pet's normal schedule as closely as possible and make sure they receive lots of love and attention during every visit or stay. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine, including feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I'll provide plenty of attention, keep their environment safe, and send regular updates with photos so you can feel confident they're in good hands.

So glad Mia was able to care for my babies this weekend. Upon meeting her, I instantly knew from her kindness and attention to detail that they were in good hands. She took lots of photos each visit & kept me updated throughout the weekend, which I really appreciated. It was evident that she genuinely cared for my kitties & that they were comfortable with her care. I came home to happy, well-cared for kitties & knew immediately that they were fully loved while I was gone. I will definitely be reaching out to Mia again whenever I need a sitter. Highly recommend! :)

We signed her on recently since our long-term cat sitter moved out of town. A very responsible and responsive A&M student, who was proactive and detail-oriented in all things. She was very good with our senior cat, and also took care of other things such as watering plants and other backyard tasks. Strongly recommended from our side, and we will be employing her for the future.

As of August 2026, there are 506 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across College Station. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a College Station stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in College Station. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
