Pet care is already a part of my everyday life. I currently care for my Alaskan Malamute, Green-cheek Conure, and African Grey parrot, so providing daily exercise, enrichment, feeding, and lots of attention is second nature to me. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide reliable care while keeping pet owners updated with photos and messages. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always prioritize keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks, enrichment, and lots of love and attention. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being and am happy to administer medications or follow any special care instructions if needed. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

Before I care for your pet, I’d love to know anything important that will help me give them the best care possible! Please let me know if they take any medications (including how often and how to give them), how many times they need to be let outside or walked each day, any feeding instructions, allergies, favorite toys or activities, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. If they have any fears, special behaviors, or routines, I’d love to know those too so I can make sure they have a fun, safe, and stress-free time while you’re away. P.S. If your pet gets anxious when you’re away, I’ve heard that leaving an unwashed T-shirt or another item of clothing that smells like you near their bed or favorite resting spot can help some pets feel more relaxed and comforted.
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and getting lots of attention! We’ll go on walks (if they enjoy them), play with their favorite toys, enjoy plenty of cuddle time, and, of course, get lots of treats if they’re allowed. I’ll stick to their normal routine as much as possible, making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can see all the fun they’re having!

What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and genuine passion for animals. I completed over 230 hours working in a small animal clinic, where I gained experience caring for pets and learned to recognize signs of illness, handle animals safely, and prioritize their well-being. I’ve personally cared for a wide variety of pets, including bunnies, parrots, cats, and dogs of all sizes, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and care needs. I’m also pursuing a career as a veterinarian, so every pet I care for receives the same patience, attention, and compassion I would give my own.

Guilda took care of my golden retriever. She was very reliable and kept me updated with pictures when she took him on daily walks and with how he was doing daily. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her.
