“We are so lucky to have found Nicki to help care for our dogs. She is very responsible and responsive, and I always know my pets will be well taken care of when they are with her. She did a great job of getting to know our animals when she first met us and them to make sure it was a good fit and that she could cater to their needs as much as possible. One of our dogs has special needs, and Nicki has done a great job working with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was honestly a bit nervous about having someone come into my home while we weren’t there. But Carol quickly put my mind at ease! She was super responsive, very attentive, and took the time to answer all my questions. Her communication gave me peace of mind and made me feel that my dog, Jack, was truly in good hands. She even sent me pictures during the visit to show that Jack had his walk, water, and food — which meant a lot to me as a first-time user. I appreciated the updates and how thoughtful she was throughout the whole process. Highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Victoria has been amazing with my three-legged pit-bull mix! He absolutely loves her and I love getting updates on how he's doing. She's gone above and beyond to take care of my guy, I feel so much better knowing he's in her capable hands when I'm in the office.”

“Isabelle is amazing! She is super flexible, so sweet, and great with my 6 year old golden retriever! She exercised Chloe so well at the dog park, that Chloe was smiling ear to ear and was completely and happily worn out, in only 30 minutes! Plus, it allowed me to enjoy playing with my 14 month old baby at the park, without having to worry about splitting my attention or getting tangled up in the leash, chasing after the baby and the fur-baby. Will definitely be using Isabelle again! Thanks so much Isabelle!”

About: Hi, I’m Shara! I’m in grad school to be a Nurse Midwife, and love going on walk breaks… so I’m on the search for a walking budding (hopefully with your furry friend). I’ve spent time dog sitting and doing overnight stays, and I enjoy getting outside for walks, playtime, and tail wags. Whether your young pup is full of energy or your older pup likes slow walks under the shade, I’m happy to match their pace (and personality!). With my caregiving background, I’m comfortable handling any medications or special care needs your dog might have. If you have any house rules/training you would like me to maintain, then I’d love to enforce them. It’s important to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously, please let me know how I can best take care of your pet and have fun along the way! I’m in grad school now and taking online classes for the summer, that means my hours are very flexible as I’ve stopped working my nursing job full time. If given enough notice I can make myself available for boarding or sitting, because having a furry study buddy makes things better! In my home, we do not have a fence but a big backyard on almost an acre of land. My family and I love being outside and taking our daily walks. We’ve taken care of family friends pets at our home, and now expanding to Rover.

“Paul did a fantastic job taking care of our puppies and gave them a long walk! He was great at communicating plans and made sure he had all the information needed before coming by. Highly recommend!”

About: I own a French Bulldog and had a German Shepard, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages! I love them all! I trained my dog when he was a puppy and just love dogs! I also own a miniature dachshund, so I am very cautious of dogs at risk of IVDD, or breathing problems (since I own a frenchie). I grew up with rescue dogs as well as highly reactive dogs. I work in a school so over the summer I’m free all day to go for nice long walks with the pups! Normally i take my dog in the morning and after school before work! For walking i am a strong and able to take care of dogs when they get excited or anxious during walks / around other dogs.

“Natalya was so sweet to do a last minute walk for my two large dogs and was very loving toward them. She had asked about her partner joining the walk and he was also very kind and gentle with the dogs. Both Clover and Diesel took to them very quickly and enjoyed their stroll on this beautiful day. We will definitely reach out about more walkies! 🐾”

Shara B.
“Shara has taken care of my incredibly picky parrot. Parrots are notoriously difficult to care for—they're moody, have big personalities, are wildly particular, and can attack and bite like the little feral feather demons they are. They require constant social attention and detailed care, and even seemingly harmless things common in human households—like scents, sprays, candles, Teflon cookware, or ceiling fans—can be dangerous. Caring for a bird means adjusting your behavior and environment with extreme caution. My parrot also is epileptic which entails more special attention and care for when he has his seizures. Despite his mood swings and attitude, he can also be one of the most cuddly and loving creatures. But that level of affection is expert-level difficult to achieve. It takes finesse, patience, time, and, frankly, usually being the “right” gender. (He hates women.) Against the odds, Shara—multiple times, including one 3.5 week long stint—took care of him. She paid close attention to every detail of his likes and dislikes, understood all the nuances of caring a parrot, and more impressively, won him over. She is trustworthy, communicative, and brave—braving the occasional bite from his plier mouth and still managing to gain his affection. After just a few days, he was cuddling up to her like I didn’t even exist. 10/10 would recommend. If she were still in our city, she'd be our first go-to human for the feather demon.”

Paul L.

Brittany P.

“I needed reliable dog care while I was in the hospital and recovering. Brittany was great. The dogs were taken care of so I didn't have to worry.”

Kaitlyn B.
“Kaitlyn is amazing with dogs! She has watched my pup on several occasions and truly treats them like her own. She has been around dogs her whole life and views them as part of the family, not just a pet!”
