“Christine is awesome! We contacted her last minute to watch our goldendoodle when I was in the hospital and our family who was watching Reagan had to leave unexpectedly. Reagan had tons of fun! Definitely reccommend!”

“I can’t think of anyone else who is more caring and reliable than Jay. I’ve been a repeat customer for a very long time now and I am loyal because of how much trust I have that Daisy is in the best care possible. Jay communicates often, shares updates, and truly cares about the health and well-being of my dog. You can tell he truly loves what he does. His home is safe, clean, and has plenty of space for my very active dog to play. Don’t hesitate! Book Jay today!”

“I was very nervous to leave Remy for a week when I went on vacation because he gets very anxious in new places, but Liz made it such a comfortable environment for him. I expected him to not eat and probably have an upset stomach, but he had no issues at all and did great! Liz does a great job caring for the dogs and making them feel at home!”

“Karrie did an amazing job taking care of our girl for the week we were away. Sent us updates, pics and vids of our girl having a great time with her family and pups. Would definitely use Karrie as a sitter again. Thanks again for taking great care of our girl ❤️”

“Sheena was amazing! Took great care of our dog Bubba and sent tons of pictures and updates. Bubba had such a great time and got lots of love from Sheena and her daughter. Highly recommend leaving your pets with her!”

“My 2 jack Russell’s spent 7 days with Tiffany and absolutely loved it! Received updates and pictures everyday to see their smiling faces! The 2 “kids” also have special diet needs and Tiffany kept them on their “stomach” schedules. When they arrived home it was as if we never left them.”

“Ashley was great with Macy! She had no problem with giving Macy time to warm up to her dog, sent updates and pictures, and made me feel 100% comfortable leaving my girl with her. I would/will use her again in the future if the opportunity arises.”

“Penny had a wonderful stay with Poliana! Our normally finicky eater even ate her meals right away! Poliana certainly had a magic touch. We got lots of adorable photos during her stay and timely reports that let us know that Penny was content and having fun. We will certainly be contacting Poliana to take care of Penny the next time we are visiting the Orlando.”

“Brittany is wonderful with our two dogs, Kazu and Koda. They love going to her house and we know they are well cared for. She keeps us up to date on their visit and sends pics when they are particularly cute. Thanks Brittany!!”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for the care my dog Blue received! He stayed for a full week and had the best time, he got to play with other dogs, and it was clear he was having so much fun. I got daily updates (which I really appreciated!) and could tell he was in such good hands the whole time. She truly treated him like her own, and I’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Heather is great. She really took care of Luna, and sent me photos and videos regularly. It was actually my first time using Rover, but Heather made me feel comfortable knowing that Luna was in good hands.”

“Kayla was amazing! I felt very comfortable with Sumo being in Kayla’s hand. She kept me up to date with photos and kept me informed about Sumo’s well being. Definitely will use Kayla again!!”

About: I compete in dog sports with my Australian shepherd and I’m very used to high energy dogs, dogs with behavioral “quirks”, and dog training, I’m able to uphold training, do training durring boarding or day care or just be your dogs new best friend. My dogs can be content wrestling or relaxing all day and I’m happy to maintain structure or just let them live their best lives for the day with me. I’ve had many years of dog experience from having them all my life and I’m very familiar with dog body language and “reading” them. I had a very difficult dog that required management and close supervision growing up and currently have a high energy breed and have also handled other high energy breeds (including coonhounds, pitbulls, and several malinois). I’m a stay at home mom so I’m often home aside from small errands here and there which I can mostly work around. I will be home most of the time and can crate your dogs if I have to leave or leave them free roaming, whatever makes them comfortable. I have a fenced in yard and a pool where your baby is welcome to run free or just lay on my couch all day. I have three I have a French bulldog who spends most week days at work with my husband so I am at home with my three year old Australian shepherd and four, two and a half and one year old sons. My three young children are obsessed with dogs and are not fearful of dogs of any size or temperament and understand respecting them and their space. If your dog likes kids they will gain three new best friends here who will be trying to play with your pup or give them snuggles (whatever is their speed) all day long. I’m very dog savvy and can care for high energy and input dogs, do training, can crate if necessary, swim lessons with dogs, and so much more.

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa. I am a lifelong dog owner and former dog foster parent. I have experience caring for dogs of all natures - senior dogs, reactive dogs, and administering medications. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your fur baby. Leave that worry at the door when your pet stays in my home! I will love and care for you let as if they are our own! My work allows me to be home all day, allowing me to provide personalized care and attention, never miss medication doses, and plenty of cuddles! My husband also works remotely two days a week. Although he will not be responsible for care, he shares my love and compassion for dogs and will love your pet like his own too! We own a 5 year old, 80lb Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix named Duke. He is neutered, well-trained (he talks with buttons!), very socialized, and adapts well to visiting dogs. He will lie down when playing with smaller dogs and respects boundaries when playtime is over. My home is currently child-free, creating a quiet environment with a perfectly sized, fenced in backyard. My home and yard provide a variety of enrichment and separate spaces for dogs who prefer their own area. I look forward to welcoming and caring for your pet in our home! I am incredibly grateful to be able to be fully remote 7 days a week. My husband works remotely two days a week, in office 3 days. My dog and I love spending time outdoors, either playing out in the yard or relaxing in our screened in porch! When my husband gets home from work we like to take family walks around our quiet, safe community. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where every dog can feel comfortable and secure. My home is child-free with minimal clutter for dogs to get into. We have a full fenced backyard with no neighboring dogs, for supervised outdoor playtime. I am home throughout the day, allowing me to closely monitor pets, maintain routines to elevate stress, administer medication, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and love. We have crate trained my dog and can give him crate time to provide separate spaces and help all dogs feel comfortable. My dog may be big but he is incredibly intelligent and empathetic. He has been noted to comfort and welcome new dogs at his day care. He is impressive with understanding boundaries and can either give your dog space or be your dog’s new BFF (best furry friend!)! I
“Tina is very thorough. I felt so confident leaving Coco with her. She sent lots of pics and was great at communicating throughout the stay. She was also very accommodating to our needs. Her home is lovely, clean, and her backyard is a perfect play place.”

“Anna was great! I’ll definitely be trusting her with my dog again. She sent a ton of photos each day which was very helpful and put our mind at ease since our dog can get a little stressed when not at home.”

“Such a great puppy sitter! She was so sweet to send updates all day so you don’t feel worried about your pup. Would bring my puppy back to her anytime! Highly recommend!”

“Brooke is WONDERFUL! I cannot recommend her enough. She’s super patient, kind, and took photos of my cats everyday and treated them with care. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“Anastasia was wonderful. Arlo received all the love and attention like he was at home, but he was on a vacation of his own. He came home tired from all the walks and excitement Anastasia gave him. I would definitely ask her to sit Arlo in the future. Thank you Anastasia.”

Tiffany did a wonderful job taking care of my dog! She was very friendly and made her feel comfortable from the start. My dog loved spending time with her, had plenty of opportunities to play, and never seemed anxious. She looked happy and relaxed when I picked her up. I highly recommend Tiffany and will definitely call her again the next time I need a dog sitter!

Tina was able to help us and Bear out quickly and efficiently without much need from me to interact. She took several pictures of a happy and content Bear which made my wife and I quite happy. Tina was also flexible on pick up day due to delays not in our schedule or control. I would absolutely book with Tina again if needed! Thank you Tina!
I was looking for a sitter for Chassy for a weekend. James's profile on Rover lead me to contact him. We set up a meet and greet. James and his wife are two great people. James sent me pictures throughout each day to let me know how Chassy was doing. I was so happy because I hate leaving Chassy; and, the pictures made me feel more at ease. I left Chassy with a great sitter. Chassy was in great hands with James. Thank you so much for taking great care of my little chihuahua.

I can't recommend Logan and Elisabeth enough! We have a cat, Charlie, with special needs. It was such a comfort to know that he was being cared for with just as much attention as we would give him at home. The communication and photos while we were away were excellent and Charlie came home happy. We will definitely use them again when we need to travel!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
