“I would 100 percent recommend anyone and everyone to use Roseli. She is so loving and caring. She took care of my two dogs and it was like they were on vacation. She treated them like one of her own. They had so much fun, they almost didn't want to come home. I will definitely be using her services again. :)”

“In the hunt for a new person to take care of piper, you have been the standout. After having the same girl for four plus years, there has been some anxiety on my part... We have tried others. The last one Piper had anxiety and came home smelly and in need of a bath. Piper had no hint of stinkyness (is that a word) when she came home after the last nine day stay with you ! Your daily pics were helpful especially for John (hubs). I don't know anything about you.... but I know this. my dog enjoys your home, especially that bed and couch!! Thank you Vanessa.”

“We loved having Maria care for our dog! She was excellent with communication, and our dog absolutely adores her. We felt completely confident that our dog was safe and well cared for. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Margarita was great! We will definitely be using her again! She was always super quick to respond whenever we checked in and sent multiple updates with pictures so we were always at ease. We had a personal emergency come up before leaving town and she was so flexible and easy to work with through the whole situation. We would 100% recommend her for all of your dog watching needs!”

“It's my first time using Rober, I recommend Maria 100%, good communication, she sent me photos for my peace of mind and makes me feel confident that my dog is welcomed as if he were part of her family.”

“Kristin was so caring and loving with my senior dog. I knew he was in great hands the entire time I was away and did not need to worry about him. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Helene is fantastic! My high energy pup has been passed out asleep for 3 hours after bringing him home from his 4 day boarding vacation with Helene. We’ve already booked his next stay.”

“Ellen was great... She took great care of my 130 pound lab. Great communication. She keeps you updated with pictures and communication on how your pet is doing. Definitely use again.”

“Li was great in her care of our cat. She provided daily updates and even let our cat partake in a bit of holiday celebration dressing up. Even though she had two pets of her own she made sure our cat felt comfortable during her stay. I definitely recommend her and her family as they are great clients here on rover.”
“We had a wonderful experience with Julissa!!! Our toy poodle puppy, Milo, was very well cared for during his 6-night stay. We received daily updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Julissa went above and beyond by replacing the battery in Milo’s AirTag, making him comfortable while he was teething, and helping keep him cool on a hot sunny day. Communication was excellent, and it was clear Milo was happy and well cared for. We would definitely book with Julissa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable Rover sitter!!! :)”

“This was the first time we left our dog with a sitter and Kayla made the experience extremely pleasant. Kayla has an awesome personality, communicates well, and is very responsive. We previously used a dog hotel when we went on vacation, but upon our return I noticed our dog very sad and it would take him a few hours to go back to his old self. He’s a rescued dog, so it may be that the environment with other dogs brought back memories. However, when we picked up our dog from Kayla’s he didn’t have that quiet/sad period. It seems like he had a great time and felt right at home. Kayla sent pictures/videos daily, so we could see him.”

“Rennan took care of my Sonic 2 days....he was in contact with us and sending pictures of my puppy, while we were at the parks. When I contact him for service, he respond immediately. Thank you to take care of my Sonic.”

“Jamie is wonderful! Buster loved staying at her home. He was extremely well taken care of as she was so attentive to his needs, routine and care. Thank you so much for making Buster feel right at home.”

“Our dog Toby had the best time with this family! They were so attentive to him and good with communicating with us during the 2 week stay at their home. We will soooo be using them again when we have to go out of town.”

“"I recently boarded my dog at Kallee and Daniel twice, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Kallee was very warm and welcoming at our first Meet & Greet and took the time to get to know my dog. During our two boarding occasions, she provided daily updates and shared photos multiple times a day, which eased my mind while I was away. My dog came home happy with no signs of anxiety. I appreciate Kallee to provide loving environment and accommodate our request to pickup and drop off time change at the last minute. I highly recommend Kallee and Daniel to any pet parent☺️”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
