Your Pet’s New Bestie
I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. I was a dog owner for 14 years and hamster owner for 2 years (the entirety of their lifespans 🩷). In addition to my own pets, I’ve regularly helped care for family members’ and friends’ pets, including feeding, walking, playtime and keeping them comfortable while their owners were away. While I’m new to offering services through Rover, I’m not new to responsibly caring for animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for your pet. My goal is always to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so both you and your pet feel at ease.

Excellent communication with Chella before and after the visit. Arrived when requested and stayed the amount of time I had requested. She sent a couple pictures, and when I contacted her about the visit, she was quick to reply with an update. I appreciate when someone is reliable and can be counted on to take care of my babies when I am unable to be there, and Chella was all of that.
Chella and her boyfriend are so sweet. They watched our boy for 5 days while we were on vacation and I’d definitely use them again!
Chella is one of the best dog sitters and walkers! My dog gets so excited when she’s here and takes great care of him always.

Schedule
I am in real estate and I work primarily from home, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule and be available throughout the day for pet care. I have plenty of availability for midday walks, frequent check-ins, and longer visits, and I enjoy getting outside for walks as part of my own daily routine. I am able to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule and adjust as needed!

I live in a single-family home with a fully fenced yard, Providing a safe and secure space for dogs to enjoy outdoor time and play. My home is pet-free and child-free. I’m mindful about safety at all times and closely supervise pets during play and outdoor activities. I follow any instructions you provide carefully, including feeding schedules, leash preferences, crate use, and routines, to ensure your pet feels comfortable and at home.
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of walks, playtime, and attention tailored to your pet’s energy level and routine. Your pet will have access to toys, enrichment, and relaxation time in a calm home environment. I can be as active or as laid back as your pet requires. I also have a dog park located in ny neighborhood, which I can use (with your permission) for additional exercise and socialization.
