“SO thankful to have found Sandra!! My dogs immediately felt comfortable in her home, and I could tell they’d enjoyed their stay when I came to pick them up. Sandra was awesome at communication, super knowledgeable on dogs in general, her home was lovely and clean, and I just can’t say enough good things about her!! Will definitely be using her in the future!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Have no fear, Poliana is here! I was a first time Rover user and Poliana made a great first impression with her professional standards, lovely home, and caring attention for my dog. She sent photos of my dog enjoying the day with other dogs during the stay so I could rest assured that everyone was in good hands. Thank You!”

“Jeralin and her daughter are the best! Our dogs are always well taken care of. I can tell they have a great time and trust them. They are always excited to return!”

“Kristin was so caring and loving with my senior dog. I knew he was in great hands the entire time I was away and did not need to worry about him. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“I was very nervous to leave Remy for a week when I went on vacation because he gets very anxious in new places, but Liz made it such a comfortable environment for him. I expected him to not eat and probably have an upset stomach, but he had no issues at all and did great! Liz does a great job caring for the dogs and making them feel at home!”

“Ashley was great with Macy! She had no problem with giving Macy time to warm up to her dog, sent updates and pictures, and made me feel 100% comfortable leaving my girl with her. I would/will use her again in the future if the opportunity arises.”

“I would 100 percent recommend anyone and everyone to use Roseli. She is so loving and caring. She took care of my two dogs and it was like they were on vacation. She treated them like one of her own. They had so much fun, they almost didn't want to come home. I will definitely be using her services again. :)”

“We loved having Maria care for our dog! She was excellent with communication, and our dog absolutely adores her. We felt completely confident that our dog was safe and well cared for. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa. I am a lifelong dog owner and former dog foster parent. I have experience caring for dogs of all natures - senior dogs, reactive dogs, and administering medications. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your fur baby. Leave that worry at the door when your pet stays in my home! I will love and care for you let as if they are our own! My work allows me to be home all day, allowing me to provide personalized care and attention, never miss medication doses, and plenty of cuddles! My husband also works remotely two days a week. Although he will not be responsible for care, he shares my love and compassion for dogs and will love your pet like his own too! We own a 5 year old, 80lb Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix named Duke. He is neutered, well-trained (he talks with buttons!), very socialized, and adapts well to visiting dogs. He will lie down when playing with smaller dogs and respects boundaries when playtime is over. My home is currently child-free, creating a quiet environment with a perfectly sized, fenced in backyard. My home and yard provide a variety of enrichment and separate spaces for dogs who prefer their own area. I look forward to welcoming and caring for your pet in our home! I am incredibly grateful to be able to be fully remote 7 days a week. My husband works remotely two days a week, in office 3 days. My dog and I love spending time outdoors, either playing out in the yard or relaxing in our screened in porch! When my husband gets home from work we like to take family walks around our quiet, safe community. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where every dog can feel comfortable and secure. My home is child-free with minimal clutter for dogs to get into. We have a full fenced backyard with no neighboring dogs, for supervised outdoor playtime. I am home throughout the day, allowing me to closely monitor pets, maintain routines to elevate stress, administer medication, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and love. We have crate trained my dog and can give him crate time to provide separate spaces and help all dogs feel comfortable. My dog may be big but he is incredibly intelligent and empathetic. He has been noted to comfort and welcome new dogs at his day care. He is impressive with understanding boundaries and can either give your dog space or be your dog’s new BFF (best furry friend!)! I
“Nicole was perfect for my two beagles and she was perfect to work with. She communicated quickly, was caring and informative in her responses, and sent updates with pictures of our dogs. My wife and I were completely comfortable our dogs staying with Nicole and we will use her again. I highly recommend her.”

“Sheena was amazing! Took great care of our dog Bubba and sent tons of pictures and updates. Bubba had such a great time and got lots of love from Sheena and her daughter. Highly recommend leaving your pets with her!”

“This was the first time we left our dog with a sitter and Kayla made the experience extremely pleasant. Kayla has an awesome personality, communicates well, and is very responsive. We previously used a dog hotel when we went on vacation, but upon our return I noticed our dog very sad and it would take him a few hours to go back to his old self. He’s a rescued dog, so it may be that the environment with other dogs brought back memories. However, when we picked up our dog from Kayla’s he didn’t have that quiet/sad period. It seems like he had a great time and felt right at home. Kayla sent pictures/videos daily, so we could see him.”

“Selenia did a fantastic job watching our dog Theo while we went to Disney with our family. Theo was happy to stay with Selenia and her dog Gigi. Theo looks forward to staying with Selenia and Gigi again.”

“We have used Jay a few times now and every time gets better and better!! It's such a relief knowing our pups are getting great care and lots of love! His back yard is huge and fenced in and I know our pups love the freedom to roam around! Thanks Jay! See you again this summer for our next vacation!”

“We had an amazing experience with Kendra! She took such wonderful care of him during the two weeks we were away. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease, and it was clear that Teddy was in loving, capable hands. One of the things we appreciated the most was the constant communication. She sent us tons of pictures and updates every day, which truly helped us stay connected with Teddy and enjoy our time away without worrying. It meant so much to see him happy, relaxed, and well-cared for. She was attentive, responsible, and clearly passionate about what she does. Teddy came back home calm, healthy, and very happy — which says everything! We are incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust her to care for Teddy again in the future. Highly recommended! 🐶✨”

“Our Sooki loved her stay. Brittany is so patient and tolerant of our high energy girl. Sooki loves the large yard, chasing her ball, and the attention Brittany gave her. We are definitely booking again. Thank you Brittany for loving our girl like your own.”

“Gandalf had an amazing time with Brooke! She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos. It was my first time leaving my fur baby with someone and she made me feel at ease. If I ever have to board my cat again, I’ll definitely be using this app with Brooke. She was just awesome through the whole experience.”

I can't recommend Logan and Elisabeth enough! We have a cat, Charlie, with special needs. It was such a comfort to know that he was being cared for with just as much attention as we would give him at home. The communication and photos while we were away were excellent and Charlie came home happy. We will definitely use them again when we need to travel!

We couldn’t be happier with the care Heather and Jared provided for Riva! Finding a sitter you can trust is everything, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. Why we recommend them: • Stress-Free Transitions: They made the drop-off and pick-up process incredibly organized and smooth. Their clear communication on timing made everything predictable, which significantly reduced Riva’s stress and helped her settle in immediately. • A Wonderful Environment: Their home is clean, quiet, and very well-maintained. It was the perfect peaceful setting for Riva to relax in, and we loved seeing photos of her finding her "favorite spot" to lounge. • Attentive & Detailed Care: They were fantastic about following Riva’s routine, ensuring she had her supplements and a snuggly night's sleep. It’s clear they take the time to make sure their guests feel safe and comfortable. • Fantastic Communication: We received frequent updates and photos that put our minds at ease. We knew our girl was in great hands the entire time. Heather and Jared are professional, kind, and clearly love what they do. Riva came home happy and calm, which is the best endorsement we could ask for. We will definitely be booking with them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
