“I couldn’t be more grateful for the care my dog Blue received! He stayed for a full week and had the best time, he got to play with other dogs, and it was clear he was having so much fun. I got daily updates (which I really appreciated!) and could tell he was in such good hands the whole time. She truly treated him like her own, and I’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“My dog Deuce had a great stay with Kristin! So much so, he seemed a bit sad after coming home lol she had great communication the whole time, always sent pics and updates, and gave him endless cuddles. I highly recommend her.”

“Sheena was amazing! Took great care of our dog Bubba and sent tons of pictures and updates. Bubba had such a great time and got lots of love from Sheena and her daughter. Highly recommend leaving your pets with her!”

“Jay is the best, and my dog has never been happier. Honestly, he didn’t even seem excited to come back home—he clearly misses all the fun he had! Jay shared pictures every day and was very attentive the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I have an Aussie, and he had a great time playing with other dogs in a safe environment. Jay’s dogs are friendly and well-socialized, and I could tell my dog felt comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend him!”

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa. I am a lifelong dog owner and former dog foster parent. I have experience caring for dogs of all natures - senior dogs, reactive dogs, and administering medications. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your fur baby. Leave that worry at the door when your pet stays in my home! I will love and care for you let as if they are our own! My work allows me to be home all day, allowing me to provide personalized care and attention, never miss medication doses, and plenty of cuddles! My husband also works remotely two days a week. Although he will not be responsible for care, he shares my love and compassion for dogs and will love your pet like his own too! We own a 5 year old, 80lb Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix named Duke. He is neutered, well-trained (he talks with buttons!), very socialized, and adapts well to visiting dogs. He will lie down when playing with smaller dogs and respects boundaries when playtime is over. My home is currently child-free, creating a quiet environment with a perfectly sized, fenced in backyard. My home and yard provide a variety of enrichment and separate spaces for dogs who prefer their own area. I look forward to welcoming and caring for your pet in our home! I am incredibly grateful to be able to be fully remote 7 days a week. My husband works remotely two days a week, in office 3 days. My dog and I love spending time outdoors, either playing out in the yard or relaxing in our screened in porch! When my husband gets home from work we like to take family walks around our quiet, safe community. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where every dog can feel comfortable and secure. My home is child-free with minimal clutter for dogs to get into. We have a full fenced backyard with no neighboring dogs, for supervised outdoor playtime. I am home throughout the day, allowing me to closely monitor pets, maintain routines to elevate stress, administer medication, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and love. We have crate trained my dog and can give him crate time to provide separate spaces and help all dogs feel comfortable. My dog may be big but he is incredibly intelligent and empathetic. He has been noted to comfort and welcome new dogs at his day care. He is impressive with understanding boundaries and can either give your dog space or be your dog’s new BFF (best furry friend!)! I
“Heather was amazing and took the best care of my pups! I’d been worried about leaving them, as one has been a bit anxious lately, but she cared for them as if they were her own! I got pictures and updates daily, which helped put my mind at ease. Heather also answered many of my questions when meeting her before I even asked, which was the biggest selling point for me. My pups came home tired and happy- would definitely recommend!”

“Rebecca and her daughter are absolutely amazing with our Yorkiepoo, King Kobe! They treat him like their own. Rebecca always keeps us updated with pictures of him running and playing with other dogs, and she even gives him a bath when he gets dirty. It’s clear they’re so attentive and caring — King Kobe loves being around them! We couldn’t ask for better sitters. 💛🐶. We will always book Rebecca!”

“I am so thankful we found Roseli! My husband and I came into Orlando for a Disney vacation and wanted to have our baby close by. Roseli took such good care of him and sent us pictures so frequently that it felt like we knew what he was up to all day! She loved our little guy like he was her own, even let him snuggle in bed with her! She took him on frequent walks, trips to the dog park, and even a puppy bday party! Our pupper was having gastrointestinal issues, and she did everything she could to make him more comfortable. I would 100% use Roseli again. Thank you for loving Koda ❤️”

“Kylie took such good care of Mabel while she was there. She sent frequent updates and pictures, which I love. Mabel and I will be using Kylie when we need a sitter In the future!”

“Ashley was great with Macy! She had no problem with giving Macy time to warm up to her dog, sent updates and pictures, and made me feel 100% comfortable leaving my girl with her. I would/will use her again in the future if the opportunity arises.”

“Monica was so incredibly sweet and caring with our boy Dante. She gave lots you updates and he had a great time! I highly recommend her, I couldn’t have trusted anyone else with my boy as much as I did her. He missed her! I can tell 🫶🏾❣️”

“Tina was so amazing to my girl, easy to work with and flexible with a last minute booking. I got lots of photos and updates and Kari got to do lots of her favorite activities. She is usually easily stressed but was instantly at ease with Tina and when I picked her up she was relaxed and happy. I would absolutely leave my girl under her care again! Thank you 😊”

“She was amazing. I was so scared to leave my babies with a stranger but she assured me they would be fine. Hoping she can be our permanent sitter for the future since she is only 5min away.”

“I was very nervous to leave Remy for a week when I went on vacation because he gets very anxious in new places, but Liz made it such a comfortable environment for him. I expected him to not eat and probably have an upset stomach, but he had no issues at all and did great! Liz does a great job caring for the dogs and making them feel at home!”

About: Hi! I'm Cherry, an Orlando-based dog lover offering boarding and day care. Because I work from home full-time, your pup is never left alone — there's always someone here for potty breaks, play, and company throughout the day, which makes a real difference for boarding and for dogs who get anxious or need a little extra attention. I've spent years caring for my sister's small dog — daily walks, feeding, and lots of playtime — so I'm comfortable with everyone from bouncy little dogs to calm, low-key companions. I treat every dog like my own: steady routines, plenty of exercise, and a safe, relaxed space to settle in. You'll get clear communication and regular photo updates, so you always know how your dog is doing. I'm happy to start with a free meet-and-greet to make sure it's a great fit. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! I'm available on both weekdays and weekends with advance notice. Since I work from home, I have good flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins, and I'm happy to arrange boarding and daycare when booked ahead. I'll always do my best to accommodate your schedule — just reach out early so we can plan the details and make sure it's a great fit. I live in a quiet, non-smoking home with no children and a small fenced backyard, which makes for a calm, low-stress environment for dogs to relax in. My neighborhood is peaceful with community parks nearby and a dog park close by, so there's plenty of opportunity for safe walks and exercise.
“Rebecca was so great with our baby, Callie! Her pup, Sophie, and Callie played all day and had so much fun. Rebecca sent us photos and videos of Callie during her stay. I’m so happy we decided to leave Callie with Rebecca while we were out of town. Thank you so much!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Minneola
Melanie was the best! She provided updates without us even asking and our corgi, Royce, felt pretty comfortable with her at the initial meet & greet - which was a good sign since he’s always timid of new people. Her place is very clean, cozy and her backyard provided the perfect place for him to let out energy and play fetch. Melanie is our go-to sitter!

First time using Rover with our corgi. Steven was great, his place was clean (very important to us), and he was super responsive and gave us updates whenever we asked. Our corgi seemed to love his time, enjoyed playing with the other dogs and cuddling up when he wanted.

We couldn’t be happier with the care Lady received! From the moment I dropped her off, I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in such good hands. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away, and it was clear that Lady was well cared for and loved. We truly appreciate everything Elizabeth and Logan did to make her stay such a great experience. We’ll definitely be booking with them again and can’t wait for Lady’s next stay! 🐕 🐾

We had such a great experience with Lindsey watching our dog, Grizzly! I really appreciated how organized and thoughtful she was from the beginning. She set up a meet and greet beforehand, which made me feel much more comfortable, and her home was beautiful and clearly a great environment for dogs. Her dogs were also incredibly sweet and welcoming! Communication was also great. Whenever I reached out to check on Grizzly, she responded very quickly and was always happy to let me know how he was doing. I’ve tried several other dog sitters in the area, and she has definitely been the best experience we’ve had. We will absolutely be using her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
