âSarah did an amazing job watching Lola. She sent pictures everyday and I know Lola had a good time with Sarah and her family. We will definitely go to Sarah again!!â

âElisabeth went above and beyond watching our 11-year old, high maintenance French bulldog. She followed all instructions and was an excellent communicator. She provided us daily updates and photos to assure that everything was going great. We will definitely be returning! Thanks Elisabeth!!â

âConnor took amazing care of Latte, treating her like his own dog. You can tell he genuinely fell in love with her, which made me feel completely at ease. I received constant updates and photos of Latte looking happy and well cared for, which I truly appreciated. Everything was perfect, and I will definitely continue booking with Connor. Highly recommend!â

âMarĂa was an absolute joy to work with! He have never had any watch or fur baby before, besides family, because our dog can be very anxious/ nervous around strangers. MarĂa made our dog feel extremely comfortable and took excellent care of her. She also made me feel extremely comfortable with leaving her for a 10 days and was great at communicating throughout! I would absolutely recommend MarĂa, she is very kind and caring towards dogs and people!â

âOmarilys was so great! She watched our pitbull for a few days. She provided updates and was so nice ! Thank you so much!! Gracias đ I can vacation with peace of mind âşď¸đâ

âMelissa is an experienced, compassionate and conscientious pet sitter. Our dog Rambo, who requires a significant number of oral medications and who can be challenging when bored, was well cared for and enjoyed his first visit. Melissa demonstrated patience and care in transitioning him into her home. We appreciate her support and highly recommend her to any dog owner!â
âThis is our second time using Jared and what can I say except that he is exceptional. I love all the updates to what my two huskies are up to while under his care. He understands the energy of a husky and my girls love hanging out with his dogs. I would definitely hire again with full confidence that my girls are being well cared forâ

âI couldnât be more grateful for the care my dog Blue received! He stayed for a full week and had the best time, he got to play with other dogs, and it was clear he was having so much fun. I got daily updates (which I really appreciated!) and could tell he was in such good hands the whole time. She truly treated him like her own, and Iâll absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!â

âPoli is amazing! My first time leaving my fur baby with someone that I did not know. She far exceeded my expectations and my baby was just as happy as I was. I'd highly recommend Poli! She is definitely a dog person and you can tell from how she speaks about dogs. Your dog will be more than taken care of. Your dog will feel loved in this pack! If I could rate her 10 stars, I most certainly would.â

âAMAZING!! We are so grateful we found Rosario. We adopted Juni just a month before our trip. While she is great with people she is not great around other dogs yet. Rosario is truly a dog whisperer and I felt reassured knowing Juni was in the hands of someone so knowledgeable about dog behavior and how to train them. We will definitely use him again if in the area. He also provided many updates which my daughter loved đâ

âAmanda and her kids were AMAZING and very loving to our fur baby who is not used to us all being gone more than 3-4 days. We had a last minute dog sitter cancellation and I am so grateful to come across Amanda on Rover for Dec 25-Jan 1 major holidays in such a short notice. She was very responsive to my messages, she is a natural dog lover/whisperer, she cared for our Aiko like she was her own. We were fortunate to because her 3 girls were holiday break from school so Aiko was kept entertained not only by her dogs but also by her girls. I received daily updates and pictures. I can go on and on about all the great things Amanda and her family has done for our fur baby.â

âRebecca G. Was AWESOME!!!! At the last minute our dog sitter could not keep King. We had to fly out of town for a funeral. Reach out to Rebecca she replied right away. Upon arrival her daughter greeted King with LOVE and was calling him by name (I Love it) that let me know Rebecca was preparing for him and let her daughter know his name etc. King is very spoil and such a loveable dog and Rebecca gave him the attention he needed. She made sure he put on every outfit in his bag and his PJ'S at night. She was very attentive to him. Rebecca informed us King had not pooped I told her what to do she did it and Walla King pooped. King got dirty from the rain while out doing what he have to do Rebecca gave him a bath. Rebecca is AWESOME. She took care of our King while attending to other people babies as well. King made some friends and we found a new sitter for him!!! We're team Rebecca and will continue to book with her. You should to you will not be disappointed. Great day to you all.â

âVery attentive to our dogâs need, constant pics and updates, took him to the park to burn off energy and play (which is AWESOME) , home is a pet paradise ! Dog beds everywhere! Thank you so much.â

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa. I am a lifelong dog owner and former dog foster parent. I have experience caring for dogs of all natures - senior dogs, reactive dogs, and administering medications. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your fur baby. Leave that worry at the door when your pet stays in my home! I will love and care for you let as if they are our own! My work allows me to be home all day, allowing me to provide personalized care and attention, never miss medication doses, and plenty of cuddles! My husband also works remotely two days a week. Although he will not be responsible for care, he shares my love and compassion for dogs and will love your pet like his own too! We own a 5 year old, 80lb Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix named Duke. He is neutered, well-trained (he talks with buttons!), very socialized, and adapts well to visiting dogs. He will lie down when playing with smaller dogs and respects boundaries when playtime is over. My home is currently child-free, creating a quiet environment with a perfectly sized, fenced in backyard. My home and yard provide a variety of enrichment and separate spaces for dogs who prefer their own area. I look forward to welcoming and caring for your pet in our home! I am incredibly grateful to be able to be fully remote 7 days a week. My husband works remotely two days a week, in office 3 days. My dog and I love spending time outdoors, either playing out in the yard or relaxing in our screened in porch! When my husband gets home from work we like to take family walks around our quiet, safe community. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where every dog can feel comfortable and secure. My home is child-free with minimal clutter for dogs to get into. We have a full fenced backyard with no neighboring dogs, for supervised outdoor playtime. I am home throughout the day, allowing me to closely monitor pets, maintain routines to elevate stress, administer medication, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and love. We have crate trained my dog and can give him crate time to provide separate spaces and help all dogs feel comfortable. My dog may be big but he is incredibly intelligent and empathetic. He has been noted to comfort and welcome new dogs at his day care. He is impressive with understanding boundaries and can either give your dog space or be your dogâs new BFF (best furry friend!)! I

Thank you Brittany!! Always amazing to work with! I had miss communicated pick-up this last time and she was truly amazing and made sure to work out a good pick up for us! She is always flexible, great at communicating and takes great care of our pups!! Thank you again Brittany!

Liz took wonderful care of our dog, Ivy, while she stayed with her! She made sure that Ivy felt comfortable and made quick friends with her even though Ivy is usually very shy with new people. I really appreciated Liz's regular updates and pictures that she sent in addition to taking Ivy on a walk every day. I would definitely recommend Liz and will use her again!

Shanny was wonderful with my dog and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable pet care. She was responsible, attentive, and kept me updated while I was away. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about my dogâs well-being. I would absolutely trust her to watch my dog again in the future. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
