About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little and owned up to 4 dogs for 7 years, one with special needs (deaf) and 2 with anxiety disorder. I am willing to take care of disabled fur babies, as well as sassy or cuddly ones gladly and will have constant communication with the fur babies parents I have recently moved and I am looking to do my dream job of being a doggy caretaker with the available time that I have. I already take care of friends fur babies and have even rescued dogs from the streets. I will have constant communication with the dog parent, will play inside and outside, groom the babies, clean up after them, littler boxes and also will always be down to take care of disabled babies, they all deserve love.

About: I've been caring for pets since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, groom, and bathe their pets. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare for 8 years and have extensive experience with grooming, pet sitting, and managing a variety of temperaments and breeds. I treat every animal as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, calm companionship, or basic grooming, I'm here to help! I own my own dog grooming business, which means I spend my days surrounded by pups! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have the flexibility to provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs midday care, companionship, or just some extra love, I’m here to help! For boarding in my home, I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and get fresh air. I also have a spare room set up just for pups, giving them a comfortable, quiet space to relax when they’re not enjoying playtime inside the house. I have experience handling multiple dogs at once and make sure every pup gets individual attention, enrichment, and care in a calm, structured environment. When walking dogs in a client’s neighborhood, I always use a double leash system one with the pet's own leash and another with mine to ensure extra safety and prevent any chances of slipping out. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications or topical treatments if needed. Your dog’s well being, comfort, and safety are always my top priorities.
“Tammy is just what we needed for our drop-in visits, responsible, trustworthy, and sincere. We have had other dog walkers and Tammy has the most compassion and excels far beyond others. My Hank lost his bonded best friend in the summer. He was still adjusting when we had our trip scheduled several months later. Tammy helped to entertain him, love on him and provided great feedback to help put our minds at ease. Her attention to detail, special care to his needs with vitamins and feeding routine and keeping us advised was exceptional. Although Hank still struggled being alone as an only dog without his bonded mate, Tammy played with him and created activities to help. She understood Hank is family and not “just a dog.” Highly recommended!”

“Jennifer is awesome! She always sends adorable pictures during her visits that my kids always look forward to. We love knowing Chloe is being loved on while we are away!”

“Niki was wonderful! She and her husband took care of my kitty while i was out of the country and gave me total peace of mind. My cat got sick one day and Niki made an extra stop at my house to check on my girl just to make sure she was okay. She went above and beyond! I can tell from the pictures that my cat felt comfortable in her care and look forward to using her again and again!”

“Shannon is amazing! Very comunícative, was great with dogs , highly recommend. Great person to deal with . Will definitely use again . This was our first time and she set the bar real high”

About: I adore pets of every kind, and love the chance to meet and take care of them. Most of my life I’ve taken care of friends and families pets, so I’m more than accustomed to giving them the love and attention they deserve. I’m preparing for a big move in about a month’s time, so I’m filling my time before then with as much as I can, my schedules pretty open! I can follow directions clear and to the letter, and know every pet has their own rituals and fine print. Just let me know ow what needs done, and it’ll happen.
“I used Kiara again to watch our baby while we were out of town. She did an amazing job with Rosey and kept us informed of everything. She sent videos, pictures, and updated throughout her drop ins and made sure to let me know of any changes or concerns while we were gone. Rosey’s official dog sitter! I will not use anyone else ❤️”

About: I have been pet sitting for about 4-5 years now while having about 7 of my own. I am about to be a Pre-Veterinary student and am looking to spend my time just caring for pets in any way possible! I am very clean, organized, and will always put your pets care first! I am currently working part time, but I am able to work out just about any time that you need:) can be as flexible as possible! I have a fenced yard, and three small dogs and two cats. They are all playful once the excitement of a new friend dies down. But I am currently in the process of moving so I am more willing to sit in the comfort of their home rather than have them nervous with the chaos of moving!
About: Hello - I offer personalized 1-on-1 care in my quiet, smoke-free, child-free home — one dog at a time, alongside my own senior dog, Benjie. Your pup gets my full attention in a calm, clean home, not a chaotic boarding situation. I specialize in small and medium-sized dogs and have a special place in my heart for seniors. Benjie has a heart condition, so I genuinely understand medication schedules, gentle routines, and the patience senior dogs need to feel truly at ease. My home has a secure, well-maintained fenced yard for safe outdoor time, potty breaks, and play. I’m organized, detail-oriented, and great at following instructions carefully. Feeding schedules, medications, special needs — nothing gets missed. My faith guides how I care for every dog entrusted to me: with love, compassion, and kindness. My goal is simple — for you to be away with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, happy, and loved. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around your dog’s individual needs and routine. Mornings start with a potty break, a neighborhood walk, and breakfast — then we settle into a relaxed, easy pace for the rest of the day. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, their day may include gentle playtime, sunbathing in the fenced backyard, cozy naps, cuddle time, and sweet companionship with Benjie. I especially love caring for seniors and understand the importance of patience, a slower pace, and keeping a consistent routine that helps them feel secure and at ease. My goal is simple — for your dog to feel safe, loved, and truly at home while you’re away. Your dog will enjoy a calm, safe stay in my clean, peaceful home with a secure fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. I intentionally accept only one client dog at a time, so your pup gets focused 1-on-1 attention and a consistent routine throughout the day — not a crowded, stressful environment. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and special care requests to the letter. You’ll also receive regular updates so you’re never left wondering how your dog is doing. I specialize in small and medium-sized dogs and especially welcome seniors, who tend to thrive in a quieter home setting like mine. Your pup will also have a sweet companion in Benjie, my gentle 25-pound senior dog, who loves having friends visit.
About: I have been caring for pets for over 22 years. I was raised on a large rural farm in VA. I grew up raising farm animals; including cows, horses, goats, pigs, dogs and cats. On the farm, I was responsible for the welfare of many animals; so my work experience, ethics, compassion and love of animals grew. A "true animal lover" as they call me, I have a passion for all animals. In 2000 I opened a petsitting company in Maryland. I ran that business successfully for 17 years and brings all that experience with me to Central Florida. My compassion for animals is strong. I currently operates a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Felicia Foundation). This foundation travels to a different country each year, with certified veterinarian volunteers to help dogs in need. 30% of all profit from Pet-Sitting is donated back to pets in 3rd-world countries via the Felicia Foundation. These funds pay for yearly "animals mission trips". I have traveled for the past 8 years with veterinarians as a vet assistant. My foundation pays for dogs who desperately need immediate surgery, vaccinations, spay and neuter services, food and medications. I have brought all that passion, experience, dedication and love for animals to Central Florida. I have a pretty open schedule which allows me to be able to do any walks or drop ins throughout the week. I am flexible! When I do my drop ins, I always make sure that doors are closed behind me so no one can escape. I follow my pet owner’s instructions to keep their pets routine. I also love sending my owners photos when I visit.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
