About: Hi and welcome! My name is Jacey. I have recently found myself stepping outside of the classroom to be a full time mama after 8 years teaching KG-2nd grade. I love caring for people and animals so nurturing your babies comes natural to me. I am home full time with our daughter, 5 year old doodle and 5 year old female cat. My family and I travel often, and we utilize a sitter every time so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your family members, that are also affordable. Please feel free to message me anything! I can’t wait to get to know so many families and your fur babies. ❤️ I’m currently home full time and can be available all day for your pet. Just let me know what they need and I can make it happen. I have a fenced in backyard, a nice neighborhood for walking, a house that has room for your fur baby, and a pup myself who would love the company.
“Molly was one of the best cat sitters we have ever had! She really loved our babies like her own. She is great with communication and very easy to coordinate with. We will be using her services every time we leave town!”

“Janelle was great! She kept us informed of a possible health issue with one of our two cats, and really put in extra time to help us try to figure out what was happening. We are so thankful for her help!”

About: I am currently a volunteer at the local animal shelter called The Animal League. I clean, walk, and play with dogs of all ages and sizes. I work for free at the shelter because of love being able to help dogs in my community. Most of the money from here will be given back as a donation to the shelter! Some will be used for my gas to get your buddy! I work as a medical assistant from 8-5:30 Monday to Thursday. On Fridays I’m off at 12:0. I go to the animal shelter for about 2 hours in the afternoons after work but I between this I can come walk your dog! I don’t have any pets currently I’ve only owned small pets myself. However my experience comes from the animal shelter. I’ve learned how to gain the trust of anxious dogs. How to walk sicker dogs with heart worms. And how to do basic training with puppies including socialization, desensitization (important if they may be around kids), how to walk on a leash, basic tricks.

About: Hi, we're Ryan & Lauren! 🐾 If you're looking for someone who genuinely gets animals — you found us. My wife has spent 4 years working hands-on at a veterinary clinic, so she's not just an animal lover — she's trained, experienced, and knows how to read what your pet needs. From routine care to spotting when something's off, she brings a level of attention most sitters simply can't offer. Together, we're a team that truly loves animals — we have dogs and cats of our own, so we understand what pet parents care about most. When we come to your home, the goal is simple: your pet stays comfortable, happy, and in their own routine like you never left. No strange environments, no adjustment period — just familiar surroundings and two people who genuinely love being there. We welcome all animals, big or small, energetic or chill. 🐶🐱🦎 Your home, your pet, our full attention. We can't wait to meet them! We're available almost any time! While Lauren works full time at a veterinary clinic, Ryan works from home and has the flexibility to pop out whenever your pet needs us. Tell us what you need and we'll make it happen — our goal is to make this as seamless as possible for you and your furry family. Every visit starts with your pet's routine — because consistency is what keeps them happy and stress-free while you're away. We follow your instructions to the letter, whether that's feeding schedules, walk routes, or medications. Lauren's veterinary background means she's completely comfortable administering meds and recognizing when something just doesn't seem right. During drop-in visits we make sure food and water are topped off, get in some quality playtime, and give your pet the attention they deserve. On walks, we let them set the pace and soak it all in. And you'll never be left wondering — we send updates and photos so you can see exactly how your baby is doing. Your home is treated with the same respect as our own. We're not just checking boxes — we genuinely love being there.
About: I’ve taken care of all dogs and cats since I was 16. I’ve fed, and nurtured neighbors and friends pets while they were away. I have a great love for dogs and cats that is unparalleled I’m incredibly detail oriented and have my days neatly organized. Taking care of pets fits seamlessly into my schedule as I’m always available in the mornings and evenings N/A How do you care for pets in your home and/or your client's home? This will vary depending on which service you offer Please write at least 25 words.
About: Hi, I’m Winter! I may not have years of formal pet care experience, but animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a proud dog mom to three large pups, so I know what it takes to handle energetic dogs, daily walks, and lots of playtime. I’ve also helped care for friends’ and family members’ pets from time to time, and I love being that trusted person they can count on. What I bring to the table is reliability, patience, and genuine love for animals. I’ll make sure to follow your pets’ routines, keep them safe, and give them plenty of attention and affection while you’re away. I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority to keep pets on their normal schedule so they feel comfortable and stress-free. My schedule can vary a bit since I also work part-time, but I usually have a little more flexibility Monday–Thursday for drop-ins, walks, and shorter stays 😊 Fridays–Sundays can be a bit harder to guarantee unless I’m asked in advance, especially for overnight house sitting. I’ll always do my best to accommodate requests when I can, and communication is very important to me so I’ll always be upfront about my availability! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first with me. At my home, I have a fenced yard and a secure dog run so pups can enjoy fresh air and play in a safe space. I’m also very familiar with crate training and caring for dogs with separation anxiety — my own crew (a Staffy, a Bully mix, and a wolf hybrid) are crated while I’m at work, and my boyfriend comes by during the day to let them out, play with them, and give them love until I get home. I make sure my dogs get regular exercise through solo dog park trips and daily walks, and I always take the right precautions if the weather is hot to keep them safe and comfortable. On top of that, I’ve fostered dogs and rescued kittens, which taught me a lot about patience, safety, and adjusting care for different personalities and needs. Whether I’m looking after your pets in my home or yours, you can count on me to keep them safe, cared for, and loved — and I’ll keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you always know how they’re doing.
“Kiara visited my cats while I was away. She did a wonderful job. Kept me updated and really took good care of my kitties. I’m so grateful I found her on Rover. Truly kind animal loving person.”

My background in luxury hospitality allows me to bring warmth, compassion and attention to detail to every interaction and I will ensure your pup feels safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while with me. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekday evenings, with flexibility depending on your pup’s needs. “Aaliyah was great! I felt so at ease when I had her look after my cat Yushi for the weekend. She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was able to keep my girlie entertained and happy while I was away. Thanks again!”

About: My name is Linsa Morales, I am 35 years old and I have more than 10 years of experience in pet care. I studied and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant Technician and since then I have worked in personalized pet care. I also volunteer at county shelters and some non-profit organizations where I care for and foster animals. My goal when I take care of a pet is to make it feel safe and not change its routine while the owner is away, so that it feels like it's on vacation while it's with us. I adapt to different types of pets, from very small dogs to senior dogs, as well as cats and birds. This is my full-time job for the moment, I'm always at home. So my life adapts according to which pet I'm taking care of at the time. My house is very safe and has very open spaces. We let our pets feel free to climb on the furniture. We also have several beds and a large fenced patio where they can run around safely. We don't have children or other dogs. We do have cats who love dogs.
About: From goofy puppies to wise old seniors, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities for 10 years. My favorite part of pet sitting is matching their energy from running and playing with the energetic ones, or snuggling with the chill ones. I treat every pup like my own, and I promise they’ll get the exercise, attention, and love they need to thrive. I have a very flexible schedule since I do college online, which means I’m free almost all the time to spend with your pets. I rarely travel, but if I ever do, you’ll always be notified well in advance. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard for plenty of secure playtime and two friendly dogs who love having company. If your pup prefers their own space, I can easily crate or separate as needed. I keep a close eye on every pet in my care, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home.
“amazing! Samantha is great at communicating about various things and especially about my fur baby! Grateful to have someone respectful and caring to help take care of my pet.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
