About: I love dogs. Dogs love me. I’ll treat your dog like family 💜 Life long pet lover with integrity, who provides genuine care and can accommodate your special pup’s needs. I’m used to always having a dog in my house, but since my last passed on I’ve started boarding, walking, and caring for other’s pets. My home is currently pet-free but fully stocked with treats. Your pup will have the attention they need and the care they deserve. I’m happy to honor most all special requests.
“Jennifer is fantastic! She is so good with my Rigatoni from the first day I got her up until now. She responds quickly, always is prompt to check in on her, and really gives me peace of mind when going to work that my senior gal will be checked on and cared for during the day.”

About: I began watching dogs in my neighborhood about two years ago and have LOVED it since. I do all breeds and sizes! I am capable of watching multiple dogs at once if needed! Despite me working part-time in Mount Dora and in Clermont, neighbors and I have always found a way to work around it, whether I come right before/right after a shift or just simply depending on their dog’s own capabilities. In Mount Dora, I am typically only gone for about a maximum of 5-6 hours, while Clermont may be a little over 8. When watching inside the homes of my clients, I ensure to keep attentive focus on the dog(s) at all times. I ALWAYS use a leash when letting them out unless it is already a fenced in area. On walks, I use caution and stay alert with other possible dogs walking. I try to keep distance if I know a dog is reactive by either moving to the other side of the street or simply turning and walking the other direction.
About: I’m a true animal lover who has been volunteering at a local rescue for 2 years, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite parts of my week. My background in luxury hospitality allows me to bring warmth, compassion and attention to detail to every interaction and I will ensure your pup feels safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while with me. Working with dogs of all personalities has given me a real understanding of dog behavior, body language, and what makes each pup feel safe, calm and loved. I specialize in smaller dogs and offer a peaceful, calm environment where your pup can truly relax. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I truly enjoy spending quality time with animals. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekday evenings, with flexibility depending on your pup’s needs. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm place to relax, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for during their stay. Your pup’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a peaceful home environment, a fenced yard, and experience working with dogs of different personalities through my rescue volunteer work. I specialize in smaller dogs and focus on creating a calm, low stress atmosphere where they can feel safe and loved. I’m attentive to routines, body language, and individual needs
About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. I’m currently a dog sitter for my mom whenever she goes out of town. At most, I have taken care of 3 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I have a 6 month training in pet grooming where I learned how to read the signs of a scared or uncomfortable dog/cat, and will always respect their space when it comes to a stranger in their area! I’m currently working part time, so it’s easy for me to stop by and check on your pets! It’s more of a hobby for me than a way to make money. I love all pets! I will always make sure your dog or cat is comfortable with me. Whether that’s giving them the space they need, or making sure they received plenty of affection, or simply making sure they’re in the home!
“Kiara visited my cats while I was away. She did a wonderful job. Kept me updated and really took good care of my kitties. I’m so grateful I found her on Rover. Truly kind animal loving person.”
About: Hi, I’m Cassia! I have over 30 years of experience caring for animals, and it’s truly my passion. From dogs and cats to more specialized pets, I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work three days a week as a nursing assistant at the hospital, and on my days off, there’s nothing I’d love more than to spend time caring for your fur baby. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine—and brings me real joy. Whether caring for pets in my home or in yours, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment, free of hazards and full of love. I follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure they always feel secure, whether we’re snuggling on the couch or out for a walk.
About: I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care — that’s why I provide a safe, structured, and loving home environment where pets are treated like family, not “boarded animals.” I provide in-home pet care with a strong focus on safety, routine, and individualized attention. My home is designed to offer a calm, supervised environment where pets feel secure, understood, and comfortable throughout their stay. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified with over 40 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats in personal, rescue, and foster settings. I have worked with puppies, seniors, anxious pets, large breeds, and high-needs cases requiring rehabilitation, structure, and behavioral support. I also have extensive medical experience, including administering insulin for diabetic pets, subcutaneous fluids, oral and injectable medications, and specialized topical treatments. I am confident and gentle when caring for senior and medically complex pets. Fluent in English and Spanish, with additional working knowledge of Korean, I am able to clearly communicate and follow detailed care instructions from a wide range of pet owners. Because I operate my pet care business from home, my daily schedule is fully centered around the pets in my care. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, structured routines, and timely attention throughout the day. Pets are never left unattended for extended periods. My schedule is built around feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, medication routines, and rest periods to ensure each pet receives reliable, attentive care in a calm and stable environment. Safety and structure are a top priority in my home. My property is fully fenced with additional enclosed outdoor areas designed for safe, controlled activity suited to different sizes, ages, and temperaments. Pets are always supervised in a calm, structured environment where their safety and comfort come first. This includes active oversight throughout the day to ensure each pet is secure, accounted for, and emotionally at ease. For the safety of all animals in my care, I do not accept reactive or aggressive dogs. Each pet is carefully screened through a meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility and a safe, balanced environment. My own pets are professionally trained and well-socialized, contributing to a stable and peaceful home atmosphere.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life—especially dogs like golden retrievers, goldendoodles, cocker spaniels, labradors, newfoundlands, beagles, and aussiedoodles. I currently have a 2-year-old pup and have raised dogs from 12 weeks old, as well as cared for senior dogs, giving me hands-on experience with all kinds of temperaments, needs, and challenges. From high-energy dogs that need long runs to shy, slower companions, I’ve learned to adapt and care for them all. I’ve also completed online courses in veterinary assistance, further deepening my understanding of animal care. My lifelong experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels truly sets me apart. Pet care fits into my routine well since I work part-time and also have some work-from-home flexibility. Because of my part-time schedule, I do ask for at least a week’s notice to make sure I can plan accordingly. That said, I still have plenty of free time and would love to spend it giving pets the love, attention, and care they deserve. For walks and drop-in visits, I focus on keeping pets happy, comfortable, and safe in their own space. I refresh water, feed if needed, offer play or cuddles, and tailor walks to their energy level and routine.
About: I love all animals (minus frogs lol). I look forward to sharing my love with your fur babies & showcasing them all the attention they deserve. :) I am a teacher so I am home everyday by 4:00 p.m. I am open on weekends, including during the week (just depends on what you need me for). I live in downtown Clermont above Cosa Nostra. There are various walking paths, many outdoor locations, as well as other pet-friendly areas & people around.
About: I’ve been raised around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for them in every stage — from playful puppies to seniors who need a little extra patience and attention. Having supported my own dogs through their later years, I understand how important gentle, attentive care is. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, which means I’m available for early morning visits before work and have my full afternoons and evenings open for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. Because I’m off mid-afternoon, your pet won’t be waiting all day for attention. I’m able to give them consistent, reliable care and quality time — whether that’s a calm check-in, an energetic walk, or simply extra cuddles to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I will always care for your pet the way you feel most comfortable, especially in your own home. I carefully follow any instructions you leave — from feeding routines and medications to favorite toys and bedtime habits — because I know how important consistency is for their comfort and your peace of mind. If they stay in my home, they’ll be welcomed into a calm, loving environment alongside my two pets. They’ll have access to a fully fenced backyard where they can safely explore and enjoy fresh air. I’m able to separate from my cat if needed to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable. While I’m not able to separate from my dog, he is well-socialized and used to being around other animals. My goal is always to create a safe, warm space where your pet feels cared for, understood, and at home.
About: I have grown up and been around dogs my entire life. Before my kids were born my dogs were my kids and I treat them as family members. My dogs would sleep in my bed and I would take them everywhere I possibly could because they were my best friend. I feel that all dogs love their owners unconditionally as long as you treat them appropriately. A concept that was brought to my attention a long time ago regarding dogs is that they might not be the most exciting part of our day, but we are the most exciting part of theirs and they look forward to seeing us every day. I wake up every day appreciating that fact and my dogs have always return the favor I work close to home and I’m off on weekends. I have a lot of flexibility from my regular job to facilitate any pet need. I’ve always treated any of my pets like my children. They get a lot of attention, exercise, and play time. Pets that I have watched over for friends and family get sad when they leave my house because they have had such a good time.
“So very happy to have found someone who will care for our dog! Nikki takes the worry out of day trips for us! She spends quality time with Kade and takes him for a walk. I highly recommend!!”

About: I have taken care of not only my dogs but I have also been relied on to take dogs out during the day, feed and walk them by friends and coworkers! I have been an animal lover from a young age and am open to take care of any animal! When your animal is in my care I will make sure that that animal is safe at all times, I am experienced with all types of leashes and harnesses and I will ensure that your pets safety is number one. I am currently working full time, but I am free after work and on the weekends, for me it is a priority to take care of an animal. I am free Monday - Friday 4pm - 7pm, Saturday and Sunday any time until 6pm. I am not currently offering in home and client home care. I am working on eventually being able to provide these services down the road.

“Kayla took great care of our cat snowflake. Kayla did check-ins in the morning while we were on vacation, and it warmed my heart to see how happy she was in the pictures and videos. Kayla's check in notes were detailed and comprehensive, and we'll definitely try to book her again the next time we're out of town.”

Kyle was an amazing drop-in sitter for my pets while I was away. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of — he sent me pictures and detailed updates with every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind. When my automatic feeders stopped working, he let me know right away and made sure my pets still got fed without missing a beat. I really appreciated his clear communication, reliability, and genuine care for my pets’ well-being. Highly recommend Kyle to anyone looking for a responsible, attentive, and trustworthy sitter. I will definitely be booking with him again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Astatula with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
