“Couldn’t ask for a better Dog Walker for my puppy! I had an emergency trip out of town and was able to book Remy for a drop in visit outside her daily walk with River and it saved the day.”

“Taylor looked after my sweet baby, Tofu, for a week, and I never once felt worried. Tofu looked like she was having the best time, and it was clear she was well loved and cared for. Taylor is so sweet, kind, and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their furry friend!”

“Jezabell did a wonderful job with our 3 dogs. She sent pictures and videos and updated us often of how they were doing. We will definitely be rebooking with her in the future.”

“We had an awesome experience with Tori! She had a great initial meeting with Coco and asked lots of questions to make sure he was well cared for while we were out of town. There was great communication after each visit and pictures to let us know he was doing well. We never had a worry while we were away and returned to find him happy and relaxed. Very pleased with Tori and the care she provides!”

“Thank you, Lilly for the last minute availability & for caring for Otis so well! Otis was clearly well loved. We look forward to entrusting you again later this week.”

“Reece was amazing! I didn’t have to worry at all about the care of our dogs. My daughter left a last minute note to care for a toy and we received updates on the toys at each visit. It was so much fun! I can’t recommend enough.”

“Excellent communication with Chella before and after the visit. Arrived when requested and stayed the amount of time I had requested. She sent a couple pictures, and when I contacted her about the visit, she was quick to reply with an update. I appreciate when someone is reliable and can be counted on to take care of my babies when I am unable to be there, and Chella was all of that.”
About: I long for the day I can have a pet of my own, but in the mean time I will treat your fur baby like family! I work full-time in the healthcare field however I am available before and/or after shifts as well as on the weekends! My schedule is relatively consistent. My current living situation has space constraints, therefore I would be better suited to maintain the environment your pet is already accustomed to! This offers a level of heightened convenience and comfort to you and your pet.
“Oreo loved the attention and time that Tathyana spent with her during her visits! Tathyana was very patient waiting for Oreo to approach her since Oreo is a shy little girl but once she felt the attention from Tathyana she was very relaxed with Tathyana! We have been looking for a person like Tathyana for several months to one year and we are so happy we found Tathyana through Rover! Tathyana will be our future person to call when we are heading out of town. Thank you Tathyana!”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I have been around large dogs my entire life. I grew up around boxers, Dobermans and Labrador/pit bull mixes. I myself have had a pit bull/Labrador mix, a Dutch shepherd mix and cats. When I was younger I would pet sit for my neighbors from aquariums to bunnies, birds, chickens etc.. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I provide reliable, attentive pet sitting. My genuine love for animals means your pets receive not only expert care but plenty of affection and attention, too. I work from home and I make my own schedule so I have PLENTY of time to care and stay attentive to your furry friend. I will follow whatever schedule you give me for what your pet is used to. Keeping a consistent schedule is the key to a happy homie. I have lots of walking space in my neighborhood. I also am able to take your dog to a dog park if needed and I am very attentive. My neighborhood is dog friendly and safe. I am able to follow your instructions when I come into your space for how you’d like me to take care of your animals. Constant walks, lots of play time, keeping up with crate training, whatever you need.

About: I am currently a volunteer at the local animal shelter called The Animal League. I clean, walk, and play with dogs of all ages and sizes. I work for free at the shelter because of love being able to help dogs in my community. Most of the money from here will be given back as a donation to the shelter! Some will be used for my gas to get your buddy! I work as a medical assistant from 8-5:30 Monday to Thursday. On Fridays I’m off at 12:0. I go to the animal shelter for about 2 hours in the afternoons after work but I between this I can come walk your dog! I don’t have any pets currently I’ve only owned small pets myself. However my experience comes from the animal shelter. I’ve learned how to gain the trust of anxious dogs. How to walk sicker dogs with heart worms. And how to do basic training with puppies including socialization, desensitization (important if they may be around kids), how to walk on a leash, basic tricks.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oakland
When we came home, Latte was calm, happy, and clearly very well cared for. That gave us so much peace of mind. Darryl went above and beyond what was expected. Not only did he take amazing care of Latte, but he also left our home incredibly clean and organized, which we truly appreciated. We are so grateful for the care and attention he gave Latte. We would absolutely book with Darryl again and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable.

We had a wonderful first experience using a pet sitter service, thanks to Rebecca. As first-time users, we were naturally a bit uncertain about the process, but Rebecca immediately put us at ease with her professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care. She took the time to answer all of our questions and even offered a meet-and-greet before our trip, which made a big difference. During that visit, it was clear right away that our dog, Ginger, felt comfortable—her tail was wagging, and she happily snuggled up to Rebecca as we discussed her routine and expectations. Throughout our time away, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. It was evident that Ginger was not only well cared for but also happy and relaxed. Rebecca creates a nurturing, fun, and trustworthy environment for pets, and we would absolutely book with her again. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate care for their furry family members. Thank you, Rebecca, for taking such wonderful care of Ginger!

First time using a sitter on Rover (we've boarded in the past) and Katie was amazing for us! She tucked our girl into bed, and checked on her the following morning. We got tons of pictures and updates with the Rover card and texts. We would definitely use her again. Thanks Katie!

Excellent communication with Chella before and after the visit. Arrived when requested and stayed the amount of time I had requested. She sent a couple pictures, and when I contacted her about the visit, she was quick to reply with an update. I appreciate when someone is reliable and can be counted on to take care of my babies when I am unable to be there, and Chella was all of that.
If you’re looking for a pet sitter who is somehow more responsible than me AND my actual pet combined, Briana is your girl. She showed up prepared like she was about to take the SATs, stayed longer than she had to like she was getting paid overtime (she wasn’t), and went so above and beyond that my pets are now lowkey disappointed I came home. Pretty sure my dog tried to file adoption papers. My puppy packed a tiny suitcase. 10/10 would hire again before my pets start leaving Yelp reviews about wanting Briana back.

Remy is an A+ Star sitter! I highly recommend their services! I was visiting from out of town and Remy knocked out out of the park. Followed directions to a T, sent pictures and updates, and took time out to love on my furbababies. I highly recommend Remy's services and I hope I visit the Orlando area again to use them!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
