A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around your dog’s individual needs and routine. Mornings start with a potty break, a neighborhood walk, and breakfast — then we settle into a relaxed, easy pace for the rest of the day. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, their day may include gentle playtime, sunbathing in the fenced backyard, cozy naps, cuddle time, and sweet companionship with Benjie. I especially love caring for seniors and understand the importance of patience, a slower pace, and keeping a consistent routine that helps them feel secure and at ease. My goal is simple — for your dog to feel safe, loved, and truly at home while you’re away.

About Shanny A.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog will enjoy a calm, safe stay in my clean, peaceful home with a secure fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. I intentionally accept only one client dog at a time, so your pup gets focused 1-on-1 attention and a consistent routine throughout the day — not a crowded, stressful environment. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and special care requests to the letter. You’ll also receive regular updates so you’re never left wondering how your dog is doing. I specialize in small and medium-sized dogs and especially welcome seniors, who tend to thrive in a quieter home setting like mine. Your pup will also have a sweet companion in Benjie, my gentle 25-pound senior dog, who loves having friends visit.

Information Shanny A. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best care possible, I love learning about your dog before their stay. Please share anything that helps me keep their routine familiar and their stay comfortable. A few things that are especially helpful to know: • Vaccination records (must be current) • Personality, temperament, and energy level • Feeding schedule, diet, and favorite treats • Medications, medical conditions, or mobility limitations • Potty schedule and sleeping habits • How they interact with other dogs • Fears, anxieties, or triggers • Commands they know and comfort items they love (toy, blanket, bed) • Emergency contact and your vet’s information Because I care for one dog at a time, I’m able to follow your dog’s routine closely and give them truly personalized attention. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more comfortable their stay will be — for them and for you.

Personalized Care for Senior Dogs

Pet care experience

Hello - I offer personalized 1-on-1 care in my quiet, smoke-free, child-free home — one dog at a time, alongside my own senior dog, Benjie. Your pup gets my full attention in a calm, clean home, not a chaotic boarding situation. I specialize in small and medium-sized dogs and have a special place in my heart for seniors. Benjie has a heart condition, so I genuinely understand medication schedules, gentle routines, and the patience senior dogs need to feel truly at ease. My home has a secure, well-maintained fenced yard for safe outdoor time, potty breaks, and play. I’m organized, detail-oriented, and great at following instructions carefully. Feeding schedules, medications, special needs — nothing gets missed. My faith guides how I care for every dog entrusted to me: with love, compassion, and kindness. My goal is simple — for you to be away with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, happy, and loved.

Shanny was wonderful with my dog and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable pet care. She was responsible, attentive, and kept me updated while I was away. I especially appreciated the regular pictures and videos she sent, which gave me peace of mind and let me see how happy and comfortable my dog was while I was away. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being. I would absolutely trust her to watch my dog again in the future. Thank you for taking such great care of my

When we needed someone to watch our dog, Shanny exceeded every expectation. Her home is super clean, her backyard is fully fenced, and she treats pets like they're her own family. No detail is too small - from medications to daily walks, she's incredibly responsible. What really matters is how much she genuinely loves dogs. You can tell she's not just doing a job, but truly cares. Our pup came home happy, healthy, and totally relaxed. If you want someone you can 100% trust with your furry friend, Shanny is the real deal.
