“Idalis is a great hostess for our dog Daisy. She is a cream lab and Idalis’s pet golden Logan was a great playmate for her. She spent 5 days there for doggie day care. The first day she was scared when we dropped her off. But the next 4 days she was super happy as soon as she saw us picked up the leash. She was ready to go! She seemed to enjoy being out of the house for some playtime and walk, and when she comes home she is tired. I know she will miss Idalis and her whole family. When we go vacation we will definitely take daisy there for boarding.”

“Viviana and her husband have been absolutely amazing with my puppy. By day 3 he was running from my car to go have the best day with them. They’re great about keeping you updated with photos and videos to give you peace of mind while you’re at work.”

“Helene was incredible! My partner and I decided to spend a few weeks near Orlando and brought our pup Cedric along for the ride. We wanted to go to Universal Studios for a day so needed a dog sitter. Helene met with us for a meet and greet a few days before our boarding so that we were all very comfortable and Cedric would be okay spending time at her house. On the day Helene was fantastic. She sent us photo updates and let us know he was eating his meals. Gave us some peace of mind during our trip. Cannot recommend Helene highly enough.”

“Brittany does such a great job with my pup! He loves going to her house for day care and boarding where he gets to run around with her 2 dogs. Brittany does well with sending me photos and letting me know how Kairo is throughout the day which eases my mom guilt when I have to leave him. Brittany is so kind and willing to help if you’re in a pinch! I would recommend her for sure!”

“Poliana will love your fur babies as her own! She provides exceptional care and is incredibly communicative, friendly and flexible. Your fur babies will get the best care and have the best time with Poliana.”
“Samantha took such great care of my girls. I will use her again in March because I trust her with my girls. I got pictures and she texted back so fast. Thank you so much Samantha!! I highly recommend her to watch your babies. Her dog also got along great with my girls.”
“My dog had a great day with Alexandria. He was comfortable from the beginning and received the care and attention he needed. She did an awesome job caring for Lucky. Not to mention the picture updates throughout the day (my favorite part of his stay). Alexandria was consistent with keeping me posted during his stay and he was happy!”

“Maria had a great way with Onyx. It was his first time doing any daycare in his time with me, and I wasn’t sure how he’d feel about it. He did great! Onyx will be staying with Maria any time I need a sitter, and in fact I’ve already booked Maria for a family trip in July.”

“Tiffany was pleasant, attentive to my questions and concerns. She gave quick responsive was helpful and was overall amazing. We received updates on our dogs throughout the day which was appreciated. We will definitely use her services moving forward. Outstanding experience.”

About: My name is Linsa Morales, I am 35 years old and I have more than 10 years of experience in pet care. I studied and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant Technician and since then I have worked in personalized pet care. I also volunteer at county shelters and some non-profit organizations where I care for and foster animals. My goal when I take care of a pet is to make it feel safe and not change its routine while the owner is away, so that it feels like it's on vacation while it's with us. I adapt to different types of pets, from very small dogs to senior dogs, as well as cats and birds. This is my full-time job for the moment, I'm always at home. So my life adapts according to which pet I'm taking care of at the time. My house is very safe and has very open spaces. We let our pets feel free to climb on the furniture. We also have several beds and a large fenced patio where they can run around safely. We don't have children or other dogs. We do have cats who love dogs.

I love my own dog so much too! Hear from you soon!! Kate Sintjago :-)

About: I have 30+ years of experience training, grooming, and providing a high standard of care in the animal world. I have trained birds for production, stage shows, and free flight. I have worked with parrots, birds of prey, and exotics. I have trained service dogs, K9 dogs, taught puppy classes, basic obedience classes, and dogs for film, production, and stage shows. I can cater to anything you need from walking difficult dogs, boarding difficult dogs, teaching and enriching the bond between animal and human, enriching the daily lives of your pet, and so much more! I have been working with bird behaviors in the home for the past several years and can help transform unwanted pet bird behaviors into a happy and healthy feathered family member! Tours by appointment. I own a small business called Feather and Fur Academy. I devote my entire week to my passion: enriching the daily lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pet and human with training, reinforcement, and enrichment. I live on a small 5 acre farm. We have been here since September 2023 and are still slowly setting up, but I have kennels available for boarding, plenty of land for training, a dog yard with a confidence course, pools and sprinklers for the water dogs, and an area in the back for bird flight training. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Minneola commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
