“Idalis is a great hostess for our dog Daisy. She is a cream lab and Idalis’s pet golden Logan was a great playmate for her. She spent 5 days there for doggie day care. The first day she was scared when we dropped her off. But the next 4 days she was super happy as soon as she saw us picked up the leash. She was ready to go! She seemed to enjoy being out of the house for some playtime and walk, and when she comes home she is tired. I know she will miss Idalis and her whole family. When we go vacation we will definitely take daisy there for boarding.”

“Great experience! Elisabeth is terrific with Henry, my 2 yr old miniature poodle mix. Henry is timid and not used to being away from me at home. He did exceptionally well with Elisabeth. She sent pictures and videos so we could see how he was doing. He was playing and was 100% happy when I picked him up. Her house is very clean and there’s a lovely fenced yard. I will definitely use Elisabeth for our upcoming trips!”

About: I grew up with and have taken care of dogs my entire life. I’ve always had an a soft spot for dogs and think they deserve all the love and attention in the world! I treat my dog like he’s my child - and would treat yours the same! I am home full-time and have a fenced backyard for the dogs to run around and play. I also love taking the dogs on walks through the neighborhood. The dogs would have free rein of the house and furniture - couches, beds, etc. I’m happy to accommodate any specific feeding instructions, medications, or overall care your dog needs. Safety is my top priority so I’ll make sure your dog is well cared for, feels comfortable, and ultimately has lots of fun!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. I was a dog owner for 14 years and hamster owner for 2 years (the entirety of their lifespans 🩷). In addition to my own pets, I’ve regularly helped care for family members’ and friends’ pets, including feeding, walking, playtime and keeping them comfortable while their owners were away. While I’m new to offering services through Rover, I’m not new to responsibly caring for animals. I’m mindful about safety at all times and closely supervise pets during play and outdoor activities. I follow any instructions you provide carefully, including feeding schedules, leash preferences, crate use, and routines, to ensure your pet feels comfortable and at home.

About: I've had the utter joy of dog sitting for over 10 years for friends, family, and word of mouth. Caring for dogs brings me much pleasure and I’m able to do so as I work from home. My work is very flexible and I’m able to go for walks on my breaks with your dog. I love dogs of every breed in particular. I have one Pomeranian fur-baby that is pretty shy and will probably want to just stay in her own space. You can rest assured that your fur baby will be comfortable and well loved in my home. I work from home full-time and have a very flexible work load that allows me to give attention to your fur-baby and take them on nice walks I have one small Pomeranian that stays to herself. I live in a quiet safe neighborhood and will take your dog for a nice walk if desired.

“I could tell Candie knows how to handle dogs. I just wish I had thought to ask ahead of time how many dogs she would have the day I took mine. Mine is a little bit too submissive to a big pack and she was a bit stressed at the end of the day. Not sure I understand why only one potty break for the 7 hours she was there with a fenced in yard in spite of the extreme heat. But overall I think Candie is a great dog sitter.”

About: I’ve walked and taken care of pets in my family, for friends and neighbors. They trust me and love the way I care for their animals as one of my own! 💕🐶 I am unavailable from 8am until 2:45pm Monday-Friday after that I am available for drop in/walks. I am available anytime after that. I do weekends as well just contact me to further discuss timing if interested. In my home I have a Jack Russel that stays and sleeps inside. He has a crate but we don’t usually use it because he’s well behaved.
