About: I grew up with and have taken care of dogs my entire life. I’ve always had an a soft spot for dogs and think they deserve all the love and attention in the world! I treat my dog like he’s my child - and would treat yours the same! I am home full-time and have a fenced backyard for the dogs to run around and play. I also love taking the dogs on walks through the neighborhood. The dogs would have free rein of the house and furniture - couches, beds, etc. I’m happy to accommodate any specific feeding instructions, medications, or overall care your dog needs. Safety is my top priority so I’ll make sure your dog is well cared for, feels comfortable, and ultimately has lots of fun!
“Poliana will love your fur babies as her own! She provides exceptional care and is incredibly communicative, friendly and flexible. Your fur babies will get the best care and have the best time with Poliana.”
“She’s absolutely amazing! It was my baby’s first time in day care and I was scared on how she was going to behave since she’s just a puppy. But Wannena was incredible! And the 2 doggies she have, played with my baby all the time so by the time we got home she went straight to sleep 😭😂”

“Julie and her family treat my baby Olive as if she were one of their own. There is no shortage of love and attention given in her household. She is great at following instructions, sending updates/pictures, and showering your fur child with affection. I had trepidations about sending a 2 month old puppy to a stranger's home but Julie ameliorated those concerns relatively quickly. I have already rebooked multiple dates with her and will likely do so after that. Our pup absolutely loves her and so will yours!”

“Idalis is a great hostess for our dog Daisy. She is a cream lab and Idalis’s pet golden Logan was a great playmate for her. She spent 5 days there for doggie day care. The first day she was scared when we dropped her off. But the next 4 days she was super happy as soon as she saw us picked up the leash. She was ready to go! She seemed to enjoy being out of the house for some playtime and walk, and when she comes home she is tired. I know she will miss Idalis and her whole family. When we go vacation we will definitely take daisy there for boarding.”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Coco! We appreciate you for always being so kind and flexible. We know she loves going to your house because she runs out of the car to your front door - she can't wait to stay with you!”

“Always a great experience when I bring my pup to Selenia! She has a great set up in the house for the dogs and a fenced in area for the doggies to play outside! My puppy always comes back exhausted from playing all day with her shih tzu, Gigi!”

“Danielle is the best. Very responsive and sent photos throughout the day. My dog never eats at daycare bc of nerves but she ate at Danielle’s. She was very well taken care of. I hope she’ll have us back!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. Unfortunately, my family dog recently passed away, which only deepened my appreciation for the love and companionship pets bring into our lives. I recently graduated from Florida State University and regularly volunteered at Champs Chance Rescue in Tallahassee, where I helped care for dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also fostered a dog this past semester, which gave me valuable experience providing consistent care and helping a dog adjust to a new environment. I love spending time outdoors, going on walks, and making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. As a nursing student, I'm responsible, dependable, and attentive to each pet's individual needs, and I treat every dog like they're my own. I’m currently focused on studying for my NCLEX to become a Registered Nurse, so I spend the majority of my time studying from home. I also work part-time as a Pilates instructor, which is typically only a 6–10 hour commitment each week, and my schedule is very flexible. Because of this, I have plenty of time to provide attentive care, companionship, walks, and playtime for your pet throughout the day. My home is a safe and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for your dog to feel comfortable. I have a pet ferret who stays in his cage, and I am able to crate your dog if needed. I also have a screened-in pool area and live in a gated neighborhood with lots of green space that's perfect for walks. Additionally, there is a local dog park just a short drive away for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and socialization.
About: Growing up, I always loved our family pets. But recently when I lost my 16 year year-old personal companion, I realize how much time I Spend with him. So I am looking for a furry friend to spend time With and lift my spirits throughout the day. I’ve tended to all ages of animals- from bottle-feeding kittens, to administering medicine to senior dogs. I love all animals and care for them like family. I work remotely during the week so have a flexible schedule to take care of your Fur baby. I am a home body so am flexible on weekends too I love the process of getting to know each animals personality to figure out how they perfer to be loved. I am able to walk, run, wrestle and play with pets if they like, or simply just sit next to them for a good snuggle.
“Cheryl took such wonderful care of our 1 year old very shy 6 pound dog Bonnie while we went to the Disney parks during the daytime. This was the first time we had left Bonnie with someone else so we were anxious about it. Once we meet Cheryl we knew Bonnie was in good hands. Cheryl did everything to help Bonnie adjust to her new surroundings. The daily pictures and updates were great and let us know everything was ok. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Cheryl for our future trips.”

“Carilyn was the absolute best, so sweet and took great care of my pup. He usually doesn't warm up to people fast but as soon as he met her he was instantly comfortable and went right with her. Will definitely be using them again in the future!”

“Brenda, Dwain, their daughter, and their cutie crew of furry friends were SPECTACULAR! I'm incredibly grateful to have found them and very pleased with Wink's care. They provided photos and videos, and were incredibly kind and generous. They will absolutely be seeing Wink and I again!”

“Thank you for everything you did and your help for us out of town out of state! Max had a great time and if and when we come back down I’ll reach out again, very welcoming and knowledgeable with the area and flexible with our unexpected issues (losing a phone) she is someone you can trust with your care! Love love the card and pictures ❤️”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Winter Garden
Julie was available to help when we were in dire need! When we got to her house, I was immediately at ease and knew that Elmo would be in good hands. Elmo had a quiet day and we had a great day at Disney. We got regular updates throughout the day which made us more at ease. We will definitely consider her as first option in future trips to Orlando.

A few reasons why we would recommend Caroline as a sitter: - phenomenal communication before booking as well as during the stay - many photos/videos received throughout the day - flexibility with drop off and pickup times - major plus that Sailor made friends with her doggos and they had a great time playing We are so thankful for Caroline for opening up her home to our pup for the day!

PHENOMENAL- if you want somebody to take care of your dog, Laura is your lady! My dog literally had a blast with her and he kept going back to her for more affection when I picked him up. She has two dogs of her own that got along really well with Zero and Laura updated me with any concerns and then she took him to the dog park and on walks. Literally took care of him like he was her own. Seriously so stoked to have found such an amazing Rover in the area.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Winter Garden commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
