“What a great experience! Dwain, Brenda and their sweet girls were so kind and loving towards Mya! They kept us up to date and sent fun pics while we were away! We truly appreciate them watching Mya on such short notice! Thanks again!!!!”

“I left my dog with Feliska while work was being done on my house. The work took longer than expected and she was very understanding about that. She kept her a few extra hours and was very pleasant about it too. That helped relieved some of my stress about the situation.”

“We were so happy to find Priscilla. While we live in another part of Florida, we needed to board our pup while in the area where we were visiting with family and spending Thanksgiving Day at their house. My son's dog doesn't get along with ours, so it was wonderful to find someone who could care for him during our visit. Priscilla was so good with him and she sent us photos and a video of him running in her yard with the other dogs. He looked so happy to have this play time. We will definitely consider boarding him with Priscilla the next time we plan a visit to our kids.”

About: I offer dog boarding and daycare in my home for small dogs. I work from home, so your dog will have consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and a calm daily routine with plenty of rest throughout the day. I have a senior Aussiedoodle named Mani who is loving and generally does well with other dogs, especially in a calm home setting. Like many dogs, he may bark when someone arrives and can need a little time to adjust, so I do slow introductions and supervise interactions closely. I focus on a low-stress environment, follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, and provide updates so you feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for. Schedule I work from home, which allows me to provide regular supervision throughout the day. Dogs receive scheduled potty breaks, feeding based on your instructions, calm playtime, and rest periods. I’m intentional about bookings so each dog gets attentive care in a comfortable home environment. Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: I have two dogs of my own with completely different personalities, which has taught me how important it is to adjust care based on each dog’s unique temperament. One may be more energetic and playful while the other is calmer or more reserved, so I understand how to read body language, respect boundaries, and provide the right balance of exercise, structure, and affection for each individual dog. Growing up in a home that cared for 20+ cats also helped me become very attentive to animal behavior overall, and I’ve cared for multiple people’s pets, making sure they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m patient, responsible, and aware that every pet has different needs-whether that’s extra playtime, a steady routine, or a little extra reassurance. My goal is always to make your dog feel secure, happy, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind!🐾💕🐶🦮🐕🦺🐩🐕 My partner and I have different schedules meaning that someone is always home or someone is always available. I am a part-time server at Disney and have a lot of free time to either take care of your pet in my home, house-sit, or even do dog walking or drop in visits! We both have a lot of experience with different types of behaviors in pets and can always be there for them in anyway they need us! Boarding- As of right now, we are in a one bedroom apartment that we can take care of your pet in the same or separated room if needed for space. We also have a large sized crate if your pet feels more comfortable in a crate. In the end of April, we will have a two bedroom apartment and will have an our second bedroom made as a pet hotel that will make your cat or dog feel comfortable and safe! I have extra blankets, toys for cats and dogs, and a lot of treats. Whatever your pet needs I can accommodate! For dogs that cannot be walked, I can order a patch of grass for the balcony ! 💟🐶🐱 House sitting/drop in visits- please provide detailed instructions and i will make sure to follow them to the T and send messages and photos whenever needed! 🏡 Dog walking- I will make sure to walk your dog very carefully and make sure they get the exercise and fresh air they need! 🐕🦺🦮 Pick up-drop offs- can be discussed if they do great with car rides! 🚗
About: My lifelong passion for dogs recently led me to become a Certified Professional Dog Trainer! For over 9 years, I've had the joy of caring for all kinds of pups - from energetic puppies to sweet seniors and dogs with special needs. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, so they've always been a huge part of our lives. We don't just watch your pet, we welcome them into our home as one of our own. Because we both work from home, we get to spend all day playing, cuddling, and making sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved. Your pet gets our full attention, always. My husband and I both work from home, which means your furry family member will have constant companionship throughout the day. To ensure the most personal and stress-free experience, we only board dogs from one family at a time. This allows us to completely tailor our schedule to your dog's needs, providing unlimited walks, dedicated playtime, and all the cuddles they could wish for. Their routine becomes our routine, ensuring they feel secure, loved, and right at home. For us, dog sitting isn't a business, it's our way of getting to have a dog in our lives. We want your dog to feel like they're on vacation in a second home, not at a boarding facility. We want you to be able to relax on your trip, knowing your dog is safe and having a blast! I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and also CPR certified, so I'm prepared for anything. Our home is set up for maximum doggy fun and safety, with a big fenced-in yard for them to zoom around in. I use my trainer-brain to read doggy body language and make sure everyone is happy and getting along.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
