“Brandi was great with our two cats while we were away for the weekend. It is rare our oldest Milo comes out - but she was able to spend time with him and made sure he ate each day. We appreciate her taking care of our babies!!”

“Skye took such great care of my pitbull Kilo! She was attentive, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the visit. Kilo seemed to really enjoy his time with her, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker. :)”

“Jenn is an amazing sitter...our cat loves her, and Jenn sends me such wonderful pictures of our cat getting lots of pets and looking very happy while we are gone! Jenn is a very kind and responsible person...I feel very lucky to have found her.”

“Kayla is just the sweetest! My family and I moved here from Baton Rouge, LA only three days before needing an unexpected sitter for our sweet, elder beagle Otis. Kayla came to our home for our in-person meeting and we (& Otis) felt comfortable immediately. She cared for Otis 3 days in a row, and left us detailed notes and the cutest photos/videos every time. We will definitely schedule her again!”

“Chrys is always quick to respond to inquiries and is super great with our boy. She leaves great detailed reports cards which my husband and I love to read. Thanks so much for always taking great care of our boy.”
“Sharyn was a pleasure to work with. She was punctual, reliable, and thoughtful in her care and communication. She did more than was required to ensure my pets had the best experience possible. I will, without hesitation, reach out to her for my future pet-sitting needs.”

“Absolutely Amazing Pet Sitter! Jack did an absolutely amazing job taking care of my Pomeranian, Sassy, and my Siamese cat, Dukesa! From the very beginning, he was reliable, punctual, and incredibly caring. He truly went above and beyond, treating my pets as if they were his own. He made sure Sassy and Dukesa were well fed, received their medications on schedule, went on their walks, and most importantly, received plenty of love and attention. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and responsible hands. Jack was attentive to every detail and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout his stay. You can genuinely tell how much he loves animals and how dedicated he is to providing the best care possible. I highly recommend Jack to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and loving pet sitter. Sassy and Dukesa absolutely loved him, and we will definitely be booking him again! 🐾❤️”

“First time using a sitter on Rover (we've boarded in the past) and Katie was amazing for us! She tucked our girl into bed, and checked on her the following morning. We got tons of pictures and updates with the Rover card and texts. We would definitely use her again. Thanks Katie!”

“Tracy is amazing! She was flexible to accommodate my last minute schedule. It didn’t take long for Kutie my toy poodle to like her. I will highly recommend Tracy.”

About: Compassionate, experienced, and a true animal lover. I have a soft spot for both dogs and cats and understand the unique care each requires. Whether it’s active playtime or cozy companionship, I’m dedicated to ensuring your pets are happy, safe, and well-cared for. I stay at home every other week, so I can fully devote my time to care for our furry friends. During my work week, I usually come home around 3 PM so I can provide potty breaks, playtime and walks. My husband work from home 4/7 days a week and can offer help as needed. I live in a single family two story house with an open backyard in Apopka. I have a big yard that is not fenced. It’s a new and quiet neighborhood, suitable for walking dogs.
About: I have been the foundation in all of the important times in the lives of the pets of my family. When I lived with my mom as a 20-something, we got a boxer, Hanna. I was the one there taking care of her most as a puppy, taking her out to the bathroom 800 times a night. I was there to give her the walks and play with her. And I was there by her side all the time in her final months as she got weak and sicker, changing diapers, cuddling, spoiling, and tending to every need. In the years since, my mom got a rescue boxer, Buster, and then my brother got a puppy boxer, Ember. I helped my mom handle Buster (he was big, rambunctious, and impersonal when she got him), and my went to my brother's to help care for Ember when he had to work. Neighbors, teachers at the school I taught at, and even student families have had me watch their pets. My primary time has been with dogs of all sizes, and the occasional rabbit, but I can be friendly with cats (when they choose to be around!), and have helped out with guinea pigs, fish, and even chickens. For dogs, I enjoy playing with them and walking them. I can bathe them. And I have no problem with dog kisses, rowdy/big dogs (as that's what Buster/Hanna/Ember all have been), and be caring and patient with skittish or uncertain dogs. I hope you'll find I'm what your pets need! Right now I am trying to develop a weather business (I am a meteorologist), which would entail an app, as well as doing live weather radar information broadcasts. Right now I am spending most of my time programming. That means I have great flexibility to be able to take care of animals when and where needed. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I have no issues with housesitting and/or visiting to take care of pets. Even before I had a dog in life, I used to always be tasked with going over to take care my neighbor's dog when their family would be gone for the holidays.
“So nice and understanding! I'm an awkward person so I feel like I have to talk but she never put that pressure on me and just talked when I kind of make it more obvious that I was going to keep awkward talking xD.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Paradise Heights
Always a helping hand in unexpected situations. I never want to take people away from their own busy schedules when something unexpected occurs, but Jaya has always been able to accommodate and has been great with the animals she has watched for us. You won’t regret having her as a sitter.

I needed a last minute sitter as I was traveling out of the country and Katherine went above and beyond to help and was extremely communicative while I was away. Visited my cat twice a day, made sure she was happy, and worked with all of her needs. She even went out of her way to get my cat things I didn’t ask for and we really appreciated that. Would recommend Katherine to anyone and hope to have her pet sit again next time I need someone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
