“Skye took such great care of my pitbull Kilo! She was attentive, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the visit. Kilo seemed to really enjoy his time with her, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker. :)”

“Lena was great. She made my pup comfortable, coaxing her to go out and play and take care of business when she was being a bit shy and spooked with the storms in the area. Lena was flexible and responsive and sent pictures from her visit. Thanks again for the great job.”
“This was my first time with her as a dog sitter and I had a great experience. I felt very confident throughout, especially because of her detailed updates, photos, and clear communication about anything that came up. She was reliable and easy to communicate with, and she took great care of my dogs. They were in excellent condition when I returned. I will definitely book her again in the near future.”

“Carli was great! She stopped in to visit my kitties and made sure they had all the needed. Very nice personality and excellent communicator. Would definitely recommend her to others and would book her services again in the future if needed!”

“We have used Brandi’s services multiple times this weekend for drop-in visits. She has been incredibly kind and professional in a meet and greet prior, communicative during the visits, and patient with our skittish girl. She followed everything we asked with arrival, meals, and the visits themselves. Lastly, she was flexible upon us realizing we had the wrong time one day. We’re so appreciative of her and would use her for services again in the future.”

“Kayla is just the sweetest! My family and I moved here from Baton Rouge, LA only three days before needing an unexpected sitter for our sweet, elder beagle Otis. Kayla came to our home for our in-person meeting and we (& Otis) felt comfortable immediately. She cared for Otis 3 days in a row, and left us detailed notes and the cutest photos/videos every time. We will definitely schedule her again!”

Whether it’s active playtime or cozy companionship, I’m dedicated to ensuring your pets are happy, safe, and well-cared for. I stay at home every other week, so I can fully devote my time to care for our furry friends. During my work week, I usually come home around 3 PM so I can provide potty breaks, playtime and walks. My husband work from home 4/7 days a week and can offer help as needed. I live in a single family two story house with an open backyard in Apopka. I have a big yard that is not fenced. It’s a new and quiet neighborhood, suitable for walking dogs.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a kid and have years of experience with both dog walking and pet sitting. Looking after family, friends', and neighbors' pets has taught me how to care for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it's going for walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I treat every dog like they're my own and always strive to give them the love and attention they deserve. I just graduated Highschool and am currently looking for a job, so I have plenty of free time to walk and care for your dog. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, routines, and behaviors to make sure they receive the right care while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, so I always provide reliable communication, updates, and plenty of love and attention. My goal is to give every pet a positive experience while keeping them happy, healthy, and safe.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was little, friends and family rely on me to pet sit for their babies all the time! I have a dog and cat at home so I know how to handle both cuties! Thursdays I work during 5-11pm so I can do morning walks, Saturdays I work morning so I’ll be able to do evening walks! Tuesdays and Sundays are free all day! I can accommodate to any environment, if your dog would like to go out into the backyard that will happen, if they want to sit around and be lazy, that can also happen! Cat parents share their Rover experiences - South Apopka
I needed a last minute sitter as I was traveling out of the country and Katherine went above and beyond to help and was extremely communicative while I was away. Visited my cat twice a day, made sure she was happy, and worked with all of her needs. She even went out of her way to get my cat things I didn’t ask for and we really appreciated that. Would recommend Katherine to anyone and hope to have her pet sit again next time I need someone.

Highly recommend Jaya & will be reaching out to her again for future bookings! From great communication prior to the pet sitting to delightful updates throughout Jaya’s love & genuine care for pets shows & makes it feel so much easier to entrust beloved pets to her care when away!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in South Apopka. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
