“We love Poli and her family!! They take wonderful care of our sweet Luna. Luna gets so excited when she gets to go to daycare and stay with them! Always such a great feeling knowing she is in good hands!! We appreciate them so much!!”

“Rennan helped us out while we were in town for a few weeks. Our dog does not like to be left alone. Rennan took Luke for walks and entertained while we were gone. He seems to genuinely love dogs and sent us pictures of Luke while we were gone.”

“Kymry was amazing, friendly and really flexible. Our dog seemed happy when we dropped him off and picked him up and he is usually a nervous dog so that is a good sign! Kymry updated us often throughout the day and included pictures. We would definitely use Kyrmry again.”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Coco! We appreciate you for always being so kind and flexible. We know she loves going to your house because she runs out of the car to your front door - she can't wait to stay with you!”

“Savannah was wonderful with Dilla. I was really nervous in the beginning because it was the first time I drop her with a sitter and I don’t was sure how she could react around other dogs. Savannah was amazing she kept me posted all day and my dog was for the first time easy in to other dogs. I can’t thank her enough. highly recommended”

“We left our pups with Amanda for our first Rover. She took the booking with very short notice and responded quickly. Amanda is super nice and has a nice house in a quiet neighborhood and she has a fenced in backyard.”

“Can't say enough good things about Gloria. She took good care of my furbaby while we went to the parks at universal. I was extremely nervous being he is also my service dog. She kept me posted with pictures and videos and his smile on my face put me at ease. I am already planning a trip back to Orlando and will definitely be using Gloria again for both my dogs. Thank you Gloria”

About: I’ve watched my aunts dogs many times by myself whenever they were traveling. I always volunteered to take care of the family dog on breaks or weekends to and I love meeting new dogs whenever I see them on walks I’m currently an online college student so I’ll be home at all times. I don’t currently have any part time work-giving me the time to give full care to your dog after my classes. Please choose pick up and drop off times accurately. Let me know an hour in advance if you’re possibly running late for picks up. After two hours from the original pick up time, it will result in a $12/hour late fee. I live in a condo and only five minutes away from a nature trail where I can take them out on walks. My home is spacious and I have a porch for them to laze around for some needed sunlight. Since I have a cat, everything in my home is pet safe and anything dangerous is kept locked away, or closed behind doors. I always make sure the animal will be in the same room as me, moving whenever they go if they wish to explore their new environment.
About: Raised and loved both dogs and cats my entire life. I understand the different energies and needs of both species. Experienced with daily outdoor walks, leash safety, and keeping energetic pups happily excersiced. Meticulous with litter box, cleaning, refreshing water, and giving cats the exact amount of playtime or space they need Morning: My day always starts with fresh food, clean water, and checking in on the pets to make sure they are happy and comfortable. Midday: Since my schedule is highly flexible, I am available for midday walks, backyard playtime, and quick litter box or potty breaks. Evening: I dedicate my evenings to wind-down time, giving plenty of head scratches, brushing fur, and ensuring a calm, safe environment before bed. Escape Prevention: I am incredibly vigilant about doors and windows. Gates and doors are always locked securely before any pet is let loose. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Butler
We needed a last minute sitter for our dog for the day and Katie was such a huge help! Katie was positive, super happy to see our dog, and was great at handling the few issues that came up unexpectedly with him. If anyone is in the area and in need of a sitter, highly recommend Katie!

PHENOMENAL- if you want somebody to take care of your dog, Laura is your lady! My dog literally had a blast with her and he kept going back to her for more affection when I picked him up. She has two dogs of her own that got along really well with Zero and Laura updated me with any concerns and then she took him to the dog park and on walks. Literally took care of him like he was her own. Seriously so stoked to have found such an amazing Rover in the area.

Shawn is such a great fit for my dog! He is very friendly and warm to dogs and humans lol. I really appreciated how flexible Shawn was regarding scheduling my dog’s visits. His home is roomy with lots of space for my dog to be comfortable. I would totally recommend Shawn to care for your fur baby!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
