“Kymry was very kind, accommodating and went above and beyond with communication :) she gave us many updates and reassured us throughout Peanut’s stay. We will 100% be using her again when we come down to Orlando to visit some theme parks!”

“Rennan was very sweet in accepting our last minute request to watch our doggy. She seemed so happy and even better tired from playing all day! Rennan was very kind and flexible. I know our dog was in amazing hands. Thank you!”

“Gloria is a very nice lady, she took good care of my dog, sent tons of video so I know my dog was very happy with her. I will definitely request her next time when I come in town. Thank you Gloria ❤️”

“We are glad we found Poliana! First time daycare ever for our Luna. She was nervous but we did the meet and greet beforehand and the first day went well. Received pictures and updates throughout the day. Definitely will be back again!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Charity! She was very responsive on the app when I booked the appointment, which immediately put me at ease. When we met, her kindness and love for animals were so apparent—and my dog, who is usually anxious and hesitant around new people, took to her right away! This was a relief, as it’s rare for him to warm up to someone so quickly. If you’re in the Orlando area, especially visiting the theme parks, I highly recommend Charity. She’s truly wonderful, and I felt completely confident leaving my dog in her care. I’ll definitely book her again when we return!”

“You can write it naturally in English like this: She took great care of Zion, and her children are adorable and very sweet. She kept me updated by sending photos and always letting me know how Zion was doing. Since he was still a puppy, I was a little worried, but he came back happy, healthy, and completely worn out from playing so much! 😊”

“Luisanna was amazing with Lola and I would recommend her to anyone. We took our Lola girl on vacation with us to New York but she could not do some of the activities… Luisanna was available at short notice with quick and easy drops off/ pick ups. She was very responsive when I texted her and communicated with us during the day on how Lola was doing. Her communication is amazing, along with her sweet relaxed energy Lola warmed right up to her ! She truly took care of my baby as her own and it was easy to tell when I brought Lola the following day, Lola ran right to her. It was so reassuring to know my dog was happy, safe and well cared for. Her location is very convenient for any New York or New Jersey plans as she is right over the bridge. She was truly a life saver and I am so greatful I found her. Anytime I visit NY I will be contacting her as I’m sure Lola would love to see her !”

“Lottie had a wonderful time at Jerry’s place playing with Blue and the other friends that visit! Jerry is always tops at communicating and sends pics and videos. Thanks Jerry!”

“Cheryl took such wonderful care of our 1 year old very shy 6 pound dog Bonnie while we went to the Disney parks during the daytime. This was the first time we had left Bonnie with someone else so we were anxious about it. Once we meet Cheryl we knew Bonnie was in good hands. Cheryl did everything to help Bonnie adjust to her new surroundings. The daily pictures and updates were great and let us know everything was ok. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Cheryl for our future trips.”

“Maya was super flexible with the pick up time as it was a little later than anticipated, I super appreciate that!! I got pics of Ollie having fun and getting love and attention 🫶🏼”

“This is my first time using rover and I’m so glad I booked with Maria. She sent pictures and was even able to accommodate an early pick up! I would 100% book with her for your doggy needs”

About: I’ve watched my aunts dogs many times by myself whenever they were traveling. I always volunteered to take care of the family dog on breaks or weekends to and I love meeting new dogs whenever I see them on walks I’m currently an online college student so I’ll be home at all times. I don’t currently have any part time work-giving me the time to give full care to your dog after my classes. Please choose pick up and drop off times accurately. Let me know an hour in advance if you’re possibly running late for picks up. After two hours from the original pick up time, it will result in a $12/hour late fee. I live in a condo and only five minutes away from a nature trail where I can take them out on walks. My home is spacious and I have a porch for them to laze around for some needed sunlight. Since I have a cat, everything in my home is pet safe and anything dangerous is kept locked away, or closed behind doors. I always make sure the animal will be in the same room as me, moving whenever they go if they wish to explore their new environment.
“Susan was absolutely wonderful, I can tell she just loves dogs and it made me so relieved and happy to see that. We’ve had such bad experiences with sitters and I’m very anxious to leave my baby anywhere but now I know that anytime I’m in the area, I will absolutely use Susan. She is amazing!!! I was also so grateful for all the pictures and videos of my Benji, he loved it there!”

Can't say enough good things about Gloria. She took good care of my furbaby while we went to the parks at universal. I was extremely nervous being he is also my service dog. She kept me posted with pictures and videos and his smile on my face put me at ease. I am already planning a trip back to Orlando and will definitely be using Gloria again for both my dogs. Thank you Gloria

Jacob and his partner were so great with Kevin! Kevin had a prior injury on leg and they took great care of him and made him feel comfortable and relaxed at their place. Great sitters, very kind and accommodating! Would definitely used them again when in the Orlando area.

Charity took great care of our young puppy for day care. She was great at keeping us updated and had a very relaxed demeanor that immediately made us feel comfortable with her and confident she’d take great care you our puppy. I really appreciate she was also flexible when we were running a little late. Great experience. Highly recommend. Very convenient location to Universal as well.

My dog spent the whole day with Suzanne, and I was very happy with the service! 💛 She was attentive, caring, and kept me informed throughout the day by sending photos and updates. My dog returned calm, content, and clearly comfortable with her. It is evident that Suzanne loves animals and knows how to interact with them. I would definitely recommend her and would gladly use her services again!

Shawn is such a great fit for my dog! He is very friendly and warm to dogs and humans lol. I really appreciated how flexible Shawn was regarding scheduling my dog’s visits. His home is roomy with lots of space for my dog to be comfortable. I would totally recommend Shawn to care for your fur baby!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bay Hill commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
