“Luisanna was amazing with Lola and I would recommend her to anyone. We took our Lola girl on vacation with us to New York but she could not do some of the activities… Luisanna was available at short notice with quick and easy drops off/ pick ups. She was very responsive when I texted her and communicated with us during the day on how Lola was doing. Her communication is amazing, along with her sweet relaxed energy Lola warmed right up to her ! She truly took care of my baby as her own and it was easy to tell when I brought Lola the following day, Lola ran right to her. It was so reassuring to know my dog was happy, safe and well cared for. Her location is very convenient for any New York or New Jersey plans as she is right over the bridge. She was truly a life saver and I am so greatful I found her. Anytime I visit NY I will be contacting her as I’m sure Lola would love to see her !”

“Maria is the best! Our dog loves staying with her! She’s very flexible and she communicates so well and plus she sends tons of photos and videos! We will continue sending our dog to Maria every time we visit Orlando/Disney! Thank you Maria!”

“We drove from ATL to Orlando for a wedding with my Cleo. We left her with Rennan for a few hours and you could see how happy she was. We definitely recommend and will use him next time!!!!”

“Mariela was a wonderful doggy care. She kept my family and i updated with how Benji was doing as well as his walks and fed time. I will definitely like to book her again if possible. I’m out on vacation and Benji doesn’t like to stay alone for long periods of time. This was the best app!”

“Currently visiting on holiday and I as able to take a last minute request. She made my husky comfortable before introducing her to their dog. Sent pictures and videos frequently.”

“Vanessa and her family took great care of my Dogo Argentino. Her beautiful family gave my dog tons of love and attention. He came home and was exhausted and slept all day. They clearly developed a strong bound with my dog in short period. I plan to use her services in the future and highly recommend. Location is great, lots of walking paths, bilingual English / Spanish.”

“Our baby Chloe had a great day making new friends!! We received pics throughout the day of her fun and new friends. We will definitely use her again when we come back in the area. Bonus… she’s less than 2 miles from where we stay. She was prompt on responding and easy for us being sort of a last minute request. I highly recommend this Rover care giver.”

“Jared was great! He sent lots of pictures and took great care of my Loki. She came home and was so tired from all of the play with his pups! Would definitely book again.”

“Kyrmy is amazing! She took of our little dog while we enjoyed Universal Studio Parks (literally across the street from her) and was simply stellar. She’s polite, accommodating and extremely nice. She kept us informed all day and sent photos throughout the day! Definitely coming back!”

“We were searching for a pet sitter since we are at the campground of Disney . We found Cheryl she is perfect with our dog. Piper is at home with her. We couldn’t ask more. If you are searching for the best you found it. Your love one will be at the best place . 🐶❤️”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for our honeymoon! She picked Darvwin up each day and kept him while we enjoyed the theme parks, then brought him back to us each evening. Darwin absolutely loved her-he would wake up each morning excited and ready to go spend the day with her. She was reliable, flexible, and truly made it possible for us to bring our schnauzer along on this special trip without any stress. Thanks to her, our honeymoon was perfect, and Darwin was happy and well cared for the entire time. Highly recommend!”

“couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful family who took care of my dog while I was on vacation. From the moment we met them, I felt completely at ease leaving my pup in their care. They treated my dog like part of their own family, giving him lots of love, attention, and playtime. They sent me updates and photos, which made me feel connected and reassured the entire time I was away. It was clear that my dog was happy, safe, and comfortable in their home. It’s not easy to trust someone with your furry family member, but they went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for responsible, loving, and trustworthy caregivers. My dog can’t wait to go back and visit them again! 🐾❤️”

“Edith and her Sister were absolutely amazing. We had needed something extremely short notice and they were more than accommodating! They were very kind and patient especially with my older dog who is nervous about being in new places. They kept us updated throughout the day by sending pictures of them on their walk or relaxing! We usually come here 2x-3x a year and we will definitely be booking with them. They dogs were very relaxed with them and they provided great care and that’s what helped me enjoy my time here!! Thanks again!!!”

About: Pet Care Experience Since I was 16 years old, I have had the opportunity to care for dogs belonging to family members, friends, and neighbors, and animals have been an important part of my life ever since. I am originally from Ecuador, where I cared for dogs of many different breeds and sizes, including Huskies, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, and many others. I was responsible for their walks, feeding, playtime, exercise, and basic training. I have always loved teaching dogs new tricks, keeping them mentally stimulated, and, most importantly, taking the time to understand and respect each dog’s unique personality. My experience with animals goes far beyond caring for pets belonging to family and friends. In Ecuador, I was also actively involved in rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned animals. I helped create a rescue organization called Patitas Felices, through which we rescued more than 150 dogs from the streets. Each dog came with a different story, personality, and set of needs. Some were calm, friendly, and affectionate, while others had experienced difficult situations and needed extra patience, understanding, and time to learn to trust people. Through this experience, I learned a great deal about canine behavior and the importance of treating every dog as an individual. I also participated in spay and neuter campaigns and helped collect donations of dog food, treats, and other supplies for different rescue organizations and animals in need. These experiences taught me how to be patient, observant, and adaptable, especially when caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. When I moved to the United States three years ago, I adopted Mila, my Bernedoodle, and she has been a very important part of my life ever since. I have dedicated a lot of time to her care, education, and training. Mila knows how to sit, lie down, shake paws, stand on two legs, and even dance! I have also had the opportunity to care for dogs of different breeds and sizes here in the United States, including dogs who have stayed overnight in my home. I love keeping dogs active, happy, and mentally stimulated. I enjoy going on walks, playing, practicing new tricks, and, when their owners approve, visiting dog parks. I also make sure to respect each dog’s feeding schedule, daily routine, individual needs, and any special instructions provided by their family. To me, caring for a pet means much more than simply feeding them and taking them for walks. It means getting to know them, understanding their personality, respecting their boundaries, and helping them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. After so many years of sharing my life with dogs and helping animals in need, I have learned that every dog is different and that they all deserve patience, kindness, and respect. My goal whenever I care for a pet is for their family to feel completely comfortable knowing that their dog is in a safe, loving, and caring environment where they will be treated like part of my own family. Schedule I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to dedicate time, attention, and love to the pets I care for. I am available to provide boarding in my home Monday through Sunday, so I can welcome dogs throughout the week as well as on weekends. During the week, I am available from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the dogs in my care. I like to organize each pet’s day around their normal routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, exercise, rest, and any special instructions provided by their owners. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and set of needs, so I am happy to adapt their routine and provide the individual attention they need. My goal is for every pet staying with me to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and like part of the family, while their owners can feel confident knowing their dog is receiving plenty of care and attention throughout the day. The safety and well-being of every pet in my care are always my top priorities. I live in a secure, gated community that is fully fenced and equipped with security cameras. We have a completely enclosed dog park where dogs can safely play and enjoy themselves, as well as an open area within the community where they can run, play, and get plenty of exercise under supervision. We also have a designated area where I can bathe dogs when needed. During their stay, dogs may also have the company of Mila, my Bernedoodle. Mila is a very friendly, loving, and gentle dog who is part of our family. She is currently my emotional support dog and is also in training to become a service dog. She loves being around other dogs and can be a wonderful companion. However, I always respect each dog’s personality, comfort level, and their owner’s instructions, so any interaction with Mila is supervised and only happens when it is appropriate and approved by the owner. I always follow each owner’s instructions and preferences regarding feeding, walks, playtime, rest, medication, and activities. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to get to know each pet and help them feel comfortable, calm, and happy. When we go for walks outside the community, safety always comes first. I use an appropriate leash based on each dog’s size, strength, and behavior, and I never leave a pet unattended. I am also very careful around doors, gates, and entrances to prevent accidental escapes. If an owner allows their dog to visit a dog park or participate in certain activities, I always follow their preferences and instructions. I have cared for dogs of many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, both in Ecuador and here in the United States. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, teaching them new tricks, and providing activities that keep them physically and mentally engaged. I am also very attentive to their feeding schedules, rest, and any special instructions their families provide. For me, caring for a pet is not simply a service—it is something I genuinely love and something that has been part of my life for many years. I treat every dog in my care as if they were part of my own family. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while they are with me, while giving their owners peace of mind knowing their best friend is staying in a loving, safe, and responsible home.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
