“Luisanna was amazing with Lola and I would recommend her to anyone. We took our Lola girl on vacation with us to New York but she could not do some of the activities… Luisanna was available at short notice with quick and easy drops off/ pick ups. She was very responsive when I texted her and communicated with us during the day on how Lola was doing. Her communication is amazing, along with her sweet relaxed energy Lola warmed right up to her ! She truly took care of my baby as her own and it was easy to tell when I brought Lola the following day, Lola ran right to her. It was so reassuring to know my dog was happy, safe and well cared for. Her location is very convenient for any New York or New Jersey plans as she is right over the bridge. She was truly a life saver and I am so greatful I found her. Anytime I visit NY I will be contacting her as I’m sure Lola would love to see her !”

“Rennan was absolutely wonderful! He sent us pictures, videos and updates throughout the day and gave her lots of exercise, outdoor time and rest. We are so grateful and very happy with Talas care and attention by Rennan! Thank you so much! If we come back, we will be sure to book with him again!”

“There are no words to describe how great Roseli has been ❤️. Georgina loves her and her new friends. Roseli helped our dog to be more self confident and to improve her relation with other people as our dog is extremely shy. We've been receiving pictures and videos constantly and we were really happy to see how much fun she was having. We will definitely come back to Roseli each time we are on the Orlando area 🙂. See you soon Roseli! 🐶”

“So amazing. I cannot believe we never found Poliana all this time coming to Orlando. She is the very best dog care that we have EVER experienced. Both Maisie and Piper were so well taken care of. I can tell they enjoyed every minute there. Will definitely be bringing them back!”

“Ms. Maria was a Wonderful sitter for our 2 dogs. She loved them and let them use her house as their own. She sent so many pics and videos throughout the day. When our pup didn't want to eat, Ms. Maria fed her by hand so she would! 🩷 She went above and beyond and our pups were so happy to see her each day!!!”

“We were searching for a pet sitter since we are at the campground of Disney . We found Cheryl she is perfect with our dog. Piper is at home with her. We couldn’t ask more. If you are searching for the best you found it. Your love one will be at the best place . 🐶❤️”

“We were on vacation for a week and I picked Sarah for our service dog Bruno because he is used to kids all the time. Bruno loved their home and he was well taken care of on the days we dropped him off. We highly recommend this family and their care.”

“Jared was great! He sent lots of pictures and took great care of my Loki. She came home and was so tired from all of the play with his pups! Would definitely book again.”

“She was absolutely amazing with my dog! Very caring, attentive, and clearly experienced. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog caregiver”

“Mariela was a wonderful doggy care. She kept my family and i updated with how Benji was doing as well as his walks and fed time. I will definitely like to book her again if possible. I’m out on vacation and Benji doesn’t like to stay alone for long periods of time. This was the best app!”

“Vanessa and her family took great care of my Dogo Argentino. Her beautiful family gave my dog tons of love and attention. He came home and was exhausted and slept all day. They clearly developed a strong bound with my dog in short period. I plan to use her services in the future and highly recommend. Location is great, lots of walking paths, bilingual English / Spanish.”

“Etzel was an amazing furbaby sitter. When my dogs first saw her, they weren't apprehensive or skeptical like they usually are with new people. They spent the day relaxing in her home and huge yard. She walked them, cuddled them and kept them safe. I highly recommend her. If we ever need a sitter in the area again, we'll always choose her first.”

“I love Jerry. But most importantly my dog loves Jerry. Everytime he goes there he looks like a teenager at grad night in Disney. He is just delighted to be there. I take him to Jerry's with total peace of mind. Jerry loves Tobi. I love taking my dog there as much as financially possible for me. He sends pictures all the time of Tobi with his friends. And when he comes home he is exhausted and chillax. If i could i would probably bring him 2-3 times a week. Choose Jerry! Lol”

“Alberto was kind, flexible and very thoughtful toward my dogs. I appreciated that he was available on short notice and the photos that he sent to me during the stay. I would definitely contact him again.”

“Barbara was so sweet and caring with our pup! She helped us out last minute and watched our girl for a few hours while we went to the parks. She sent us updates and had great communication through the entire process. We felt very comfortable. Thanks Barbara!”

About: Our 6 year old golden gives us a proper run for our money, but it’s nothing I can’t handle - the same applies for your pets! I’ve never not lived with at least one animal growing up. I know that for some animals, meeting new people can be scary, and so the skittish cat I gained the trust of growing up has helped me learn patience when making a new friend. I know basic training in dogs, which includes being a calm, kind, and confident leader when I need to be (discouraging biting, jumping, excessive barking, pulling on a leash, etc. with positive reinforcement). While I may take up other jobs such as babysitting and being a door dasher, I am up for any work! My schedule is very flexible. I can start from 11 AM and beyond, I can administer pill/ointment medication and provide plenty of love! <3 We have a dog run in our large backyard that stretches from one end to the other so any dog attached can run about as they please. A fence along the perimeter of the backyard is also going to be installed soon. We are knowledgeable in our pets’ allergies, diets, training, and energy habits that allow us to keep them happy and healthy. While our cat is more introverted and prefers to sleep most of the day, our golden requires far more enrichment, which I never fail to provide, whether that’s through puzzle toys I buy, walks/runs, taking her to new environments, or just a simple game of tug-of-war.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
