About: I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs, personality, and routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. I follow all instructions carefully, including diets or medications, and love spending quality time playing and bonding with them. I also keep owners updated so they know their pets are in good hands. Caring for pets is truly something I enjoy and take seriously. ☺️ As a pet sitter, I make sure pets are fed, exercised, entertained, and cared for based on their routine and needs. I also provide updates, pictures, and videos so owners feel at ease while they’re away. My goal is to give every pet safe, loving, and reliable care. When pets stay at my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a friendly dog of my own, and I provide a clean, dedicated space for each pet. I follow their routine, feeding schedule, and any instructions, and include walks, playtime, and attention. I also keep owners updated on how their pets are doing.
“You can write it naturally in English like this: She took great care of Zion, and her children are adorable and very sweet. She kept me updated by sending photos and always letting me know how Zion was doing. Since he was still a puppy, I was a little worried, but he came back happy, healthy, and completely worn out from playing so much! 😊”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old. I love to play squeaky toy olympics and cuddle up with the puppers! I will make sure your dog feels right at home! I can administer basic medications as well such as pills or skin care products. I currently work from home, so I have lots of time to keep your puppers company! I am flexible and can accommodate long-term set schedules or short babysitting as well. I do not have a fenced backyard, but I live in a nice neighborhood that is perfect for long walks. My husband works short hours and we have a little chihuahua, so there will be plenty of company to give your pet extra love!
About: Pet Care Experience Since I was 16 years old, I have had the opportunity to care for dogs belonging to family members, friends, and neighbors, and animals have been an important part of my life ever since. I am originally from Ecuador, where I cared for dogs of many different breeds and sizes, including Huskies, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, and many others. I was responsible for their walks, feeding, playtime, exercise, and basic training. I have always loved teaching dogs new tricks, keeping them mentally stimulated, and, most importantly, taking the time to understand and respect each dog’s unique personality. My experience with animals goes far beyond caring for pets belonging to family and friends. In Ecuador, I was also actively involved in rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned animals. I helped create a rescue organization called Patitas Felices, through which we rescued more than 150 dogs from the streets. Each dog came with a different story, personality, and set of needs. Some were calm, friendly, and affectionate, while others had experienced difficult situations and needed extra patience, understanding, and time to learn to trust people. Through this experience, I learned a great deal about canine behavior and the importance of treating every dog as an individual. I also participated in spay and neuter campaigns and helped collect donations of dog food, treats, and other supplies for different rescue organizations and animals in need. These experiences taught me how to be patient, observant, and adaptable, especially when caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. When I moved to the United States three years ago, I adopted Mila, my Bernedoodle, and she has been a very important part of my life ever since. I have dedicated a lot of time to her care, education, and training. Mila knows how to sit, lie down, shake paws, stand on two legs, and even dance! I have also had the opportunity to care for dogs of different breeds and sizes here in the United States, including dogs who have stayed overnight in my home. I love keeping dogs active, happy, and mentally stimulated. I enjoy going on walks, playing, practicing new tricks, and, when their owners approve, visiting dog parks. I also make sure to respect each dog’s feeding schedule, daily routine, individual needs, and any special instructions provided by their family. To me, caring for a pet means much more than simply feeding them and taking them for walks. It means getting to know them, understanding their personality, respecting their boundaries, and helping them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. After so many years of sharing my life with dogs and helping animals in need, I have learned that every dog is different and that they all deserve patience, kindness, and respect. My goal whenever I care for a pet is for their family to feel completely comfortable knowing that their dog is in a safe, loving, and caring environment where they will be treated like part of my own family. Schedule I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to dedicate time, attention, and love to the pets I care for. I am available to provide boarding in my home Monday through Sunday, so I can welcome dogs throughout the week as well as on weekends. During the week, I am available from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the dogs in my care. I like to organize each pet’s day around their normal routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, exercise, rest, and any special instructions provided by their owners. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and set of needs, so I am happy to adapt their routine and provide the individual attention they need. My goal is for every pet staying with me to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and like part of the family, while their owners can feel confident knowing their dog is receiving plenty of care and attention throughout the day. The safety and well-being of every pet in my care are always my top priorities. I live in a secure, gated community that is fully fenced and equipped with security cameras. We have a completely enclosed dog park where dogs can safely play and enjoy themselves, as well as an open area within the community where they can run, play, and get plenty of exercise under supervision. We also have a designated area where I can bathe dogs when needed. During their stay, dogs may also have the company of Mila, my Bernedoodle. Mila is a very friendly, loving, and gentle dog who is part of our family. She is currently my emotional support dog and is also in training to become a service dog. She loves being around other dogs and can be a wonderful companion. However, I always respect each dog’s personality, comfort level, and their owner’s instructions, so any interaction with Mila is supervised and only happens when it is appropriate and approved by the owner. I always follow each owner’s instructions and preferences regarding feeding, walks, playtime, rest, medication, and activities. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to get to know each pet and help them feel comfortable, calm, and happy. When we go for walks outside the community, safety always comes first. I use an appropriate leash based on each dog’s size, strength, and behavior, and I never leave a pet unattended. I am also very careful around doors, gates, and entrances to prevent accidental escapes. If an owner allows their dog to visit a dog park or participate in certain activities, I always follow their preferences and instructions. I have cared for dogs of many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, both in Ecuador and here in the United States. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, teaching them new tricks, and providing activities that keep them physically and mentally engaged. I am also very attentive to their feeding schedules, rest, and any special instructions their families provide. For me, caring for a pet is not simply a service—it is something I genuinely love and something that has been part of my life for many years. I treat every dog in my care as if they were part of my own family. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while they are with me, while giving their owners peace of mind knowing their best friend is staying in a loving, safe, and responsible home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Williamsburg
Charity took great care of our young puppy for day care. She was great at keeping us updated and had a very relaxed demeanor that immediately made us feel comfortable with her and confident she’d take great care you our puppy. I really appreciate she was also flexible when we were running a little late. Great experience. Highly recommend. Very convenient location to Universal as well.

I was new to Rover and feeling nervous about leaving my little Ziggy (and my parents little Zoey!) with someone I didn't personally know. I spent a bit of time carefully reading profiles and reviews before choosing Marti — and she turned out to be even better than I hoped! From our very first messages, Marti was incredibly responsive and reassuring. She quickly put my mind at ease with her sweet demeanor, clear communication, and genuine care. Once she met my pups, it was obvious she has a true gift with dogs! She treated them with love and attention, and cared for them as if they were her own. Marti is an empathetic, kind-hearted person who clearly pours her heart into what she does. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my family. I highly recommend her without any hesitation — she’s a true 5-star gem! Thank you, Marti, for taking such wonderful care of my furry family. We’re so grateful! Ziggy and Zoey had a wonderful time with you.

Whitney (and her husband Patrick) watched our dog while we explored Magic Kingdom for a day. She was extremely friendly, reliable, and flexible! She responded to messages right away and sent us messages and pictures throughout the stay. She was very understanding when we ran late in the evening. Our pup felt very much at home with Whitney based on the way she took to Whitney right away. We would definitely board with her again!

Karni took wonderful care of my dog, Denali, while we were in Orlando for a convention. Denali stayed with her for two days of daycare. She was very communicative, sent updates, and made me feel completely at ease leaving her in her care. Denali was happy and well cared for when we picked her up. I would fully recommend Karni to anyone looking for a sitter in Orlando.

Tori is fantastic! Not only was she available last minute, but she also handled our three dogs with ease. She kept us connected with frequent photo updates and messages, which made the whole experience stress-free. We will definitely be booking with her again when in orlando.

Jackelin took Lyla in super last minute. We planned a day trip overnight and needed someone to watch our dog. She was with her from 8:30am-6pm and would send me videos and pictures throughout that time! I felt so safe with her having Lyla. She played with her for so long and took her to walk. She also told us about her potty breaks and how playful she was. Lyla was wagging her tail in all these videos. I’m super happy with Jackelin’s services and would recommend her to anyone in this area! Thank you so much, we are so grateful!!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
