“Jesse and Kelly did an amazing job taking care of my baby Storm! We were visiting the area and nervous about leaving her because she has separation anxiety. They sent us videos and pictures throughout the day. Storm had a fantastic day playing and even came home with us in a cute bandana! I highly recommend them!!!!”

“My pup is always super happy to go to her and has a grand time with Naya and her pup. 100% recommend. She loves the doggos and cares for them and my pup always leaves super happy and tired out.”

“Jennifer and her husband took care of nugget during our trip to Disney, he was with them for two days and we are extremely happy we found them! We had a great time knowing that Nugget was in amazing hands and getting lots of love. Definitely our go to sitters from now on during our trips! 200% recomend!”

“Thank you so much! Maria is very good with dogs and accommodating. She provided a comfortable environment for them and kept us updated throughout the day. She took great care of our dogs while we went to the parks”

“Absolutely amazing!! She sent tons of photos and videos of my little one throughout the day. You could tell that he was just getting showered in attention and love. She even took him on a walk throughout the day and confirmed that he ate all of his dinner. On top of that she was available last minute!! My prior sitter had something come up and I found Savannah with just a couple hours before I had to leave. It's awesome that she was such a great sitter and was able to work with us for a last minute all day doggy day care. I couldn't recommend her more. 🙂”

“Ambar was absolutely awesome with my dog, Chill. She took very good care of him during his day stay with her. She fed him, took him out for 2 walks, & pee/poo breaks. Very hospitable & lovely person. Will surely use her caring service again & definitely recommend her! ?”

“I was visiting Orlando for the holidays and needed last minute daycare for my pup to run errands since I was in a hotel. They responded right away and I was able to drop off the next day. My pup was with them for about 5 hours and I got photos and videos. He had a great time, and they were extremely nice and friendly. Will definitely be using them again whenever I’m in town 😊”
“We had the best experience for our puppies! We were visiting from Georgia and decided to pit stop for the day at Magic Kingdom! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our puppies! We will definitely use again!”

“Max fell in love with Margarita the day met at meet and greet. As we arrived at her home this morning and Max saw her, waiting in from in her home, he leaped from his car seat on the passenger side, across me and tried to leap out the driver-side window to get to her. No goodbye kiss for me. He happily went off with Margarita. This evening, as we sat outside on the patio, he fell fast asleep -- exhausted -- evidence he had a good time. I found Margarita very, very personable, professional, knowledgeable and above all she loves dogs. 5-Star+ rating in every sense of the word! We are already ooking additional days with her.”

“Kymry was absolutely amazing. We have a 12 lb rescue, Niki, who was badly abused and has a hard time with being boarded. Based upon the reviews and discussions I had with her ahead of time, I thought she could possibly work for Niki. We left Niki with Kimry for 2 days, since we wanted to do Universal and Dosney Theme Parks. Kymry kept us in the loop with text messages and pictures. She had a number of small dogs. We could see that Niki was really comfortable with Kimry and the other dogs. And that she was having a good time. So I opted to leave her for an additional 5 days to let her get socialized. I believe socialization is so improtant for an abused anumal. She did so well. Kymry was aware of her challenges and gave her lots of love and really helped her adjust. Kymry did an amazing job with this. Much thanks go tp her and her husband. I will definintely call Kymry the next time I am in Orlando. She truly is the best!”

“Have you heard of Ms. Rachel, the online personality that toddlers are obsessed with? Well, consider this Rachel to be the same. My 4 year old havapoo is obsessed with Rachel and we’ve only met her twice! I’ve never seen her so excited to see a Rover sitter, she’s truly at the same excitement as seeing her grandparents when I drop her off. Rachel has such an amazing intuition with dogs and can sense exactly how they’re feeling, and knows how to make them comfortable instantly. I have a very a sensitive dog who is a total lover but also needs a lot of playtime, and I’ve never trusted a sitter more than Rachel to read exactly how she’s feeling and what she needs. I’m only in Orlando for a month, and will continue to book Rachel as often as I can!! Her energy and personality will fit with any dog.”

“Ruben & Gelu were great with Rome. It was love at first site as Rome looked forward to his visit everyday that I dropped him off. He was so gentle with the little baby and always wanted to be where he could reach her. Now I know he is good with little ones. Awesome job! I will certainly be calling on them again.”

“Victor was great! He is not just a sitter, he truly understands and loves dogs. I will definitely book him again. There is nothing better than knowing my pup was safe, happy, and well cared for.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
