I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my day. I have plenty of flexibility to take dogs on walks, play, and give them attention throughout the day. Since I’m home most of the time (and available on weekends too), I’m able to keep a consistent routine that makes pets feel comfortable and cared for.

It’s important for me to know each pet’s daily routine, energy level, and personality, what they love, what makes them nervous, and how they like to be comforted. I also like to know about any medical needs, allergies, or medications, as well as their feeding schedule and any training cues or house rules you use. Knowing how they interact with other animals, people, and new environments helps me make sure they stay comfortable, happy, and stress-free while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day with pets involves plenty of play, walks, and quality time! I start with morning potty breaks or a walk to get some energy out, followed by breakfast and a little playtime or cuddles, depending on the pet’s personality. Throughout the day, I make sure they get exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love. In the evenings, it’s all about winding down with dinner, snuggles, and making sure they’re relaxed and comfortable before bedtime. My goal is always to keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel happy and cared for while you’re away.
