About: Iâve walked and taken care of pets in my family, for friends and neighbors. They trust me and love the way I care for their animals as one of my own! đđś I am unavailable from 8am until 2:45pm Monday-Friday after that I am available for drop in/walks. I am available anytime after that. I do weekends as well just contact me to further discuss timing if interested. In my home I have a Jack Russel that stays and sleeps inside. He has a crate but we donât usually use it because heâs well behaved.
About: Hi, Iâm Winter! I may not have years of formal pet care experience, but animals have always been a huge part of my life. Iâm a proud dog mom to three large pups, so I know what it takes to handle energetic dogs, daily walks, and lots of playtime. Iâve also helped care for friendsâ and family membersâ pets from time to time, and I love being that trusted person they can count on. What I bring to the table is reliability, patience, and genuine love for animals. Iâll make sure to follow your petsâ routines, keep them safe, and give them plenty of attention and affection while youâre away. I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands, and Iâll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease. Whether itâs walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, Iâll treat your pets like my own and make sure theyâre happy, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority to keep pets on their normal schedule so they feel comfortable and stress-free. My schedule can vary a bit since I also work part-time, but I usually have a little more flexibility MondayâThursday for drop-ins, walks, and shorter stays đ FridaysâSundays can be a bit harder to guarantee unless Iâm asked in advance, especially for overnight house sitting. Iâll always do my best to accommodate requests when I can, and communication is very important to me so Iâll always be upfront about my availability! đž Your petâs safety and comfort always come first with me. At my home, I have a fenced yard and a secure dog run so pups can enjoy fresh air and play in a safe space. Iâm also very familiar with crate training and caring for dogs with separation anxiety â my own crew (a Staffy, a Bully mix, and a wolf hybrid) are crated while Iâm at work, and my boyfriend comes by during the day to let them out, play with them, and give them love until I get home. I make sure my dogs get regular exercise through solo dog park trips and daily walks, and I always take the right precautions if the weather is hot to keep them safe and comfortable. On top of that, Iâve fostered dogs and rescued kittens, which taught me a lot about patience, safety, and adjusting care for different personalities and needs. Whether Iâm looking after your pets in my home or yours, you can count on me to keep them safe, cared for, and loved â and Iâll keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you always know how theyâre doing.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
