“Tracy is a life saver. I always get nervous introducing my dog to new people but she is so patient and kind, my dog took to her right away. Tracy sent photos, updates and kept communication top tier each day. I feel so much peace of mind thanks to Tracy, DEFINITELY recommend.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of having Ana walk fufu this past weekend. Not only was she available last minute, her report cards at the end their walks showed how much care and love she has for animals. She is considerate, attentive and knew how to create a safe atmosphere for my fufu. Fufu definitely had a blast getting spoiled and having extra time to sniff everything in sight. Thank you Ana!”

“Jelianie was wonderful with our golden doodle! She was very flexible with times even when it was raining she waited until it stop raining and came over to walk him. She also could come by to walk him at the last minute when we really needed her. I highly recommend her! Thank you very very much Jelianie!”

“Hanna is as sweet as my dog lol. She always shows up on time and with a good attitude. She gives the dog a great walk and my dog is starting to get excited when she thinks Hanna is coming. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from 10wks old all the way up to senior dogs. I have been dog watching for over 10 years now and am comfortable in nearly all situations. I am familiar with caring for dogs who may need medications as well. I have cared for up to 6 dogs at once before. I currently work full-time from home in sales. So I have a flexible schedule in the sense of how my day is structured. If your pet prefers play time throughout the day that is very easy for me to fit in! I prefer to care for your pets in your home as this allows them to stay in what is familiar to them and not have much of a change in their day-to-day besides just someone different with them. If they are used to you being around nearly all day, I can make that happen or if they are used to you being gone that is fine by me too. If you’re looking for just some drop in visits, I tend to stay for a minimum of 30mins. I believe this gives them time to do their business outside as well as get some people time while you are away.
“Karrie always takes good care of my dog throws his ball gives him a lot of exercise and makes sure he has water he is very happy when she comes over I am so thankful that she is there”

“Idalis is professional and very caring. We met briefly to discuss my dog and her needs, and Vivi had a great first couple visits with Idalis! We will be booking with Idalis regularly for drop in visits and neighborhood walks:)”

I have had fur babies of my own for over 40 years and will treat yours just like family. I have also looked after many friend’s and family’s pets. I work part time from home and could provide drop ins and walks morning, noon, and evening. I currently work from home part time with a very flexible schedule so that leaves me with a lot of down time to look after others pets. I would love to drop in on your pets for feeding, potty breaks, playtime and lots and lots of love. I can take them on walks or just let them out in your backyard to potty and play.

About: I’ve walked and taken care of pets in my family, for friends and neighbors. “Giovanna did absolutely amazing with Tallulah. Tallulah is a puppy and can be very energetic when trying to put on her harness and leash. She handled it with ease, sent the most amazing updates and rover cards. Her and Tallulah looked like that were having a blast. We will definitely book her again.”

“Ali is amazing. She learned our dogs personality on the first day. She made him feel loved. I know that because when she walked in the second day he went wiggle-bottom (something he only does for those who dote on him). Our dog is 92lbs and can be intimidating if you don’t know him. She walked in relaxed and comfortable and that just translated to our dog. Highly recommend her!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
