“This is our 1st time utilizing Rover and I am so excited to share my experience with Mario. Mario is a great sitter; he sent many pictures and provided excellent communication. We will certainly continue to book services with Mario! Our Chloe’ returned to our family with no issues. Thank you, Mario!”

“It was our first time boarding our 3 ½ year old Rat-Chi and we couldn’t have been happier to find Mariana. We knew our dog would have separation anxiety and Mariana and her husband Mark were such a comfort to our dog Ernie…and to my husband Bert who also had his own separation anxiety ;). Ernie had a blast meeting her corgis as well as the other dogs whom she was dog sitting that week. He paws-itively loved being part of her pack! She gave us updates and sent photos throughout his 9-day stay. Mariana’s love for dogs of all shapes, sizes and demeanor make her a rare gem. To Ernie, they are friends fur-ever.”

“Peggy and Jamey have done it again. When arrangements we had previously made fell through at the last minute these guys stepped in again to save the day. We have a husky puppy and she is full of energy and the best thing about these guys is that they are super active. Maddi had an amazing adventure with them while on a 5 miles hike and we were able to enjoy our wedding weekend knowing our little girl was in very good hands. Cannot thank you guys enough!”

“Shaun took great care of our older dog, Rocky. She was attentive, giving him all the cuddles he wanted, and he adjusted nicely to the surroundings. She was very concerned about him, making sure he got all his meds, and feedings as per our (voluminous) instructions. We would definitely have Rocky stay with her the next time we travel.”

“Andrew was amazing from the moments before dropping of my puppy Ophelia to the end. He sent me pictures, mad her feel at home and truly cared for her. Will be going to him any time I need someone to take care of my family member.”

“Kaye watched our dog for about 4 days. It was our first time using a rover, so Kaye happily did a meet & greet prior to our dogs stay. Kaye has 2 dogs herself, both were easy going and friendly. She has a great fenced in backyard with some trees shade, turf and caged chickens for dog viewings. Kaye sent photos and was responsive.”

“Deandra and her family took wonderful care of my 5 month old puppy over the holidays. Charlie stayed with Deandra for 10 days and was given so much care and attention. She loved playing with their dog in the front yard, which was great socialization and tuckered Charlie out! Deandra sent daily updates which made me feel comforted to leave her for an extended timeframe. I highly recommend Deandra and plan to book her again!”

“Totally recommend Fely & Cecilia. My little Georgie had a great time and was well cared for. She had a blast playing with Ikaika (their beautiful mini Aussie blue eyed boy) who is just as playful as my Georgie girl. I felt very comfortable leaving her knowing she was in good hands with regular photo updates through out her stay. Look forward to having Fely & Cecilia taking care of her in the future once again!!”

“Claudia did a wonderful, amazing job again caring for Luna for a long weekend. She sent me so many photos and updates and when I came to pick up Luna I could see how perfectly content she was in Claudia's home. Claudia and her husband gave Luna so much love and attention that she would have been happy to stay another week! It is truly a blessing to have such a caring, competent dog sitter!”

“We don’t need a dog sitter often, but Annie is our “Go to” sitter. We have three dogs that can be loud and demanding, but she had them comfortable and relaxed in minutes. They’ve had experience with Pit Bulls and Dobermans, and nothing our (initially cautious and frightened) dogs did bothered them. Lots of dog toys too to keep them occupied! A definite find in Oxnard.”

“Our fur babies stayed with Alexandra and Billy during our vacation in Santa Barbara. They were very accommodating during our time there. We were able to pick our pups, spend time with them and drop them off again. Our pups were happy and well taken care of. We will definitely contact them again on future visits to the area.”

About: Hi! I’m Paola, a 29-year-old professional dog groomer with 7 years of grooming experience and 10 years of trusted dog-sitting under my belt. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I love caring for them as if they were my own. Since I work full-time as a groomer, your pup would come along with me to my shop during the day—so they’ll never be left alone and will be in a safe, pet-friendly environment surrounded by other dogs and professionals. If you’re interested, I can also provide grooming services during their stay for an additional fee (just let me know in advance!). Whether your dog is active, shy, or somewhere in between, I’m confident they’ll feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while they’re with me! Pet care is a part of my daily life, both personally and professionally. As a full-time dog groomer, I’m constantly around dogs—caring for them, making sure they feel comfortable, and paying close attention to their behavior and needs. Outside of work, I provide dog sitting and boarding, so my routine always includes walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. Since dogs come with me to work, they’re never left alone and always part of my day from morning to night. Caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s a lifestyle I truly enjoy. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. At home, I have a securely fenced yard where dogs can play and enjoy some fresh air, and I share my space with my friendly Labrador who loves having doggy visitors. Pets in my care get plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. Since I bring dogs to work with me at the grooming shop, they’re never left alone and stay in a safe, pet-friendly environment.

About: I have experience from puppies to senior dogs — we are big dog people. I’ve also taken care of friends’ and family members’ dogs as their go to for boarding for both short and extended periods of time. I have experience administering medications. My husband and I both work from home, so someone is always home (two for the price of one!). We have a 2 year old husky beagle mutt mix who is friendly and loves other dogs. A meet and greet will be requested for first timers to make sure our dogs get along. We take lots of pictures and videos whenever we have a guest dog, so there will be no shortage of footage of your fur baby when you’re away! I highly value an open line of communication. We’re excited to meet you! My husband and I both work from home, so someone is almost always home. We take our dog on a walk in the morning, play with her, then feed her breakfast. After work (~5pm), we take our dog on an evening walk, have play time, and then feed her dinner. We then take one more potty break before bed. Pet care fits swimmingly into our routine because of our flexible schedules. We care for pets like we would care for children. We love all the cuddles and belly rubs! We make sure our dogs have enrichment, walks, play, socialization, and rest. In a client’s home, I’m a no trace camper — leave it like you first arrived!

“We are so grateful for the wonderful experience they offered our dog. They were incredible at taking care of her and we never had to worry. They kept me updated the entire weekend and kept us updated. When I forgot to pack my leash, they were very prepared. 10/10 experience!!”

“Todd and Rona are very kind and friendly and are big dog lovers. They’ve got a great yard for the dogs to run and hang out. I can tell my pup had a great time and already wants to go back!”

“Sara is awesome and so sweet! We camped on the Channel Islands for a night and I felt confident leaving my dog with Sara knowing I would have limited phone service. Great communication from the beginning and I appreciated the many updates/pictures. Casper (her dog) was great too and very chill. Mayze enjoyed her naps and walks. Also her house and backyard are perfectly set up for furry friends. Thanks for everything! Highly recommend.”

Adelle & Kyle B.
“Adelle has been my go-to sitter for overnight stays with my dog for over five years, and I truly cannot recommend her highly enough. She has consistently gone above and beyond, and I trust her completely with my pup’s care and well-being. My dog is highly food-motivated — always on the lookout for crumbs or opportunities to sneak a snack, whether indoors or out. With Adelle, I never had to worry. She’s incredibly detail-oriented and always vigilant, ensuring my dog stays safe and well-behaved, even in tricky situations. What really sets Adelle apart is her calm confidence and excellent communication. She’s quick to notice even the smallest shifts in behavior or energy levels, and always checks in thoughtfully to make sure everything is as it should be. Her attentiveness gives me complete peace of mind whenever I'm away. Adelle also keeps me updated with regular photos and thoughtful messages, follows all feeding and care instructions to the letter, and even reinforces training with my pup. Whether it's a short stay or a longer trip, I always return to a happy, healthy, and well-cared-for dog. She’s the kind of sitter every dog parent dreams of finding — responsible, observant, compassionate, and completely dependable.”
