“Tram did a great job of caring for my dog while I was out of town for a weekend. She followed instructions well and sent lots of updates! Would definitely use her again in the future!”

“This was our first time having Avi stay with our kiddos and she was outstanding. We could tell from the daily pix and texts that they were not only safe with her, but they were comfortable and happy and playful and interacting with her every day. Avi treated them, ourselves, and our house with conscientiousness and care and respect and responded to any questions or requests that we had quickly and clearly. We were very happy and at ease that we'd chosen her and it allowed us to focus more of our energy on our trip, knowing the kiddos were in excellent hands. We've used different pet sitters on Rover in our old location previously and there's been no one I'd recommend more highly than Avi. She's great!”

“Absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service provided by Patricia! Hands down, she is one of the best pet sitters I've had on Rover. My cats were well taken care of, and I particularly appreciated her careful administration of insulin to my diabetic cat. She ensured it was given on time every day. Additionally, she left my apartment spotless. I can't recommend her enough and will definitely be using her services again in the future! Thank you, Patricia!”

About: I can’t have my own dog right now, so I’d love to hang out with yours! I grew up with dogs (puppies to old dogs) and I have watched friends’, neighbors’, and family members’ dogs for them. I am responsible and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I work on campus ~9-5 pm (M-F), but my schedule is somewhat flexible if hours need to be adjusted for the pet. I am available all day on weekends and most weeknights. I am a responsible PhD student and will do my best to take care of both your pet and your home and follow any specific guidelines from you. I will take your dog on a run in the morning if you’d like, and I’d love to play with your dog/cat. :) I’m also happy to transport your pet in my car.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love taking care of them! I am used to dogs on various energy levels. I have taken care of high-energy dogs like husky’s and border collies so I understand the value of stimulation. I am very comfortable with a wide range of pet care including walking, feeding, playing and bathing. I also live with my wonderful partner who loves playing with our Rover clients and taking them on long walks. “Jessica is our new hero. She exhibited incredible professsionalism when working with us and SUCH amazing care of our animals. She stayed in our home just after Christmas when we went to visit family. Even in the cold, she took our very active dog for walks and sent pictures every day of our dog and cat to put us at ease. She even washed the sheets for the bed that she slept in and vacuumed. You could not even tell that anyone had stayed in our home. We are SO happy to have found her and can’t wait to book her again. Thank you, Jessica!!!”

Carrboro pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lauren is our regular dog walked but she just house/dog-sat for us for the first time (5 days) and, as expected, it went amazingly well. She took good care of my pooch in my apartment. She followed all of the (very tedious/helicopter dogmom) instructions with no hesitation. I would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Cassie was wonderful. Our cats were comfortable and happy with her, and her communications with us were on point. She took good care of our house and let us know when she had questions or concerns. We are especially grateful that she was cheerful and flexible when our flight got cancelled and we were delayed getting back. She really came through for us! We will book with her again.

I highly recommend Aspen for Rover dog sitting. Aspen is very competent, loves dogs and follows through with all detail. Aspen has communicated back very quickly to all of my inquiries and leaves the house as clean as when she arrived. I am grateful to Aspen and Rover for making our trip possible!

Patricia was fantastic! She was very, very good with our dog Mimi and sent us an update every day we were away. She also allowed Mimi to sleep with her in a rather small bed so that was above and beyond. lol. She left the house spotless and even washed her sheets before she left. I would recommend her highly.

Lilly was amazing! She pet sit overnight for me for a few days. This was my first time leaving my kitty with someone other than family and she really gave me peace of mind. My elderly cat has gotten very particular with age and she did a great job of following my annoyingly specific instructions. She also gave me updates with pictures daily and let me know how he was doing, how he well he ate and any throw up situations. I will definitely be reaching out to Lilly for sitting again!

Katherine is wonderful. We hired her to do in home dog sitting for our slightly stubborn 4 year old pit bull, Lilly, for a week in July while we were out of town. I was worry free after Katherines first update with a photo of Lilly. Lilly looked very happy and content. She continued to send updates on a regular basis without even having to ask, which I really appreciated as we were a long ways from home and that was one less thing to have to worry about. Katherine is totally trustworthy with your furry baby and your house. We will definitely be inquiring about her availability on our next trip out of town.

Olivia is just wonderful. She cared for our home and our two dogs with seamlessly! We have a 15 year old and 4 year old and she took special care of each. I knew she was a good fit from the moment she visited for our "meet and greet" as our old 15 year old lady dog actually wagged her tail. That doesn't happen with everyone! Dogs know a true heart when they see/smell one. Olivia was very communicative and updated us with pictures. Our two pups look forward to booking with her again soon! 5 STAR SITTER

Claire was very communicative! She sent us many photos and updates about our dog. She was very willing to add on another night last minute! We also had some water issues due to a storm while we were gone, and Claire handled it well and never complained! We will definitely let Claire watch our dog anytime!
