“Maria and her mom were very helpful caring for our dog in our home while we were away. She sent regular updates and pictures and made me feel he was very well cared for. They left our house clean and well taken care of.”

About: Hi! I’m Anjali, a lifelong animal lover that wants to help take care of your loved ones. I like to focus on you and your pets needs, and adapting myself to y’all’s specific ways of doing things. I am big on taking photos and giving you lots of updates! I currently work from home, so your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and care if you’d like me to stay with them! My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away. I follow your pet’s routine closely—whether that’s multiple walks, feeding schedules, or just lots of cuddles. I work from home, so outside of meeting times, I have lots of flexibility to meet your pets needs and wants! I also send regular updates with photo/video so you always know how your pet is doing. I have always been a conscious guest in homes. I’d be extra diligent to be sure I’m taking care of your pets and your home during any services. Being welcomed into someone’s life and home is a big deal to me, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll be sure to go at the pace of your pets, giving both you and them the reassurance that they can trust me.
“Maria was great! She showed up on time and followed our instructions perfectly. She even gave our pups their respective medication. When we got home they were relaxed and calm just how we like them!”

“Natallia was great with Duck! She was very communicative and made sure both Duck and I were comfortable when I had to leave! I will definitely work with Natallia in the future and highly recommend her!”

“Rachel was fantastic. She took great care of Murphy who can be a little skittish at times. She did everything I asked her to do. When I returned home my house was just as clean as when I left and Murphy greeted me at the door (a good sign he had a good weekend too). Thanks Rachel.”

“Bryn was cool, calm and professional! She asked any questions she needed to know the answer to, but her calmness definitely put any anxiety I had about leaving at ease. She was very adaptable when we were delayed getting home and stayed longer. Such a smooth experience - thank you!”

“Syndi is a very nice young lady who got along really well with our 3 dogs and 4 cats. She did overnight stays with our fur babies. Cleaned up after herself wonderfully. I felt very comfortable leaving my precious pets with her.”

“She did really great watching our two rambunctious boys, we received many updates as it was our first trip without taking them. We would highly recommend her to watch anyone’s babies, and we are definitely going to be hiring her again. Thanks for all you did for Mason and Houdini Kiki.”

“Marlena took amazing care of our sweet Pyrenees while we were away! She was attentive and sent timely pictures throughout the week. We were incredibly grateful for such a warm, attentive, and kind person to watch our dog!!”

“Leslie was absolutely wonderful while house sitting for my dogs, Roo and Ringo. From the moment we connected, she was kind, personable, and easy to communicate with, which gave me a lot of confidence while I was away. She took excellent care of both dogs, followed all of my instructions carefully, and made sure their routines stayed consistent. One thing I especially appreciated was how proactive she was with updates. She regularly sent messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind and let me see that Roo and Ringo were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would not hesitate to book Leslie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter. Roo and Ringo were in great hands!”

About: While I don’t have formal training, I’ve been a proud dog mom for over 14 and 16 years. Both of my pups lived long, happy, and healthy lives, thanks to lots of love, consistent care, and really getting to know their individual needs. I truly adore animals—so much so that I find myself slowing down or stopping just to wave or talk to dogs I see out on walks in the neighborhood! Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just quiet companionship, I’m all about making pets feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for. I’m available some evenings during the week and more flexibly on weekends. Whether it's stopping by for a walk, a drop-in visit, or weekend sitting, I’m always excited to spend time with animals and give them the love and attention they deserve. Creating a safe and comfortable environment is my top priority. In my home, pets have a cozy and secure space to relax, including a pet-safe pod for quiet time or rest—even though I don’t use a traditional crate. I also have a fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can enjoy fresh air and play safely under supervision. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat them with the same love, respect, and attention I gave my own dogs for over 14 years. You can trust that your pet will be in caring and capable hands.
“We loved working with Jennifer! She was so accommodating for a last minute booking and really worked with our schedule for a meet and greet despite her busy day. She sent us lots of pictures of our boy and he seemed to have a lot of fun! Would highly recommend!”

“Anthony stayed with our 2 dogs for a few weeks and did a great job. He was very responsive, attentive, and polite. He took good care of our home and frequently asked if we needed anything else to be done.”

“It was great that Maria made the time to do a meet & greet prior to taking care of my dogs for a few days! I got lots of pictures while my pups were cared for, & they were happy & healthy when I got back!”

“Kelsey’s awesome per usual. She took great care of our two dogs with completely different temperaments. She also watched over our house and kept things in check. Perfect amount of communication with photo updates. We could relax on our trip away knowing Kelsey was there. Thank you!!!”

“She did great with our two German shepherd’s for the weekend. Communicated great, house was clean when we got home, and the dogs seemed to love her! We will definitely book with her again.”

Anna and her partner John stayed at our house to care for our dog and they were both great! Anna had excellent communication while we were away and they took great care of our dog and house, even went as far as cleaning/changing the bedding and towels. I would recommend for future bookings!

Kristin was exceptional! She really cared about the wellbeing and safety of our three dogs. It is such a relief to have someone you can trust and depend on so that we could fully our vacation. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants a dog sitter who takes care of your dogs like her own.

Maria was great, she was communicative and sent pictures and updates about our dog daily. Our pup is a little nervous and she took to Maria right away so we felt very comfortable leaving her with Maria for our multi day trip. Maria also house sat for us and the house looked great when we returned. We will definitely contact Maria again if we need a pet/house sitter in the future!

Bryn was cool, calm and professional! She asked any questions she needed to know the answer to, but her calmness definitely put any anxiety I had about leaving at ease. She was very adaptable when we were delayed getting home and stayed longer. Such a smooth experience - thank you!

Marlena was great with Maddie. This was our first experience leaving our dog with someone other than family and it went great. Maddie was well taken care of by Marlena. She sent us updates and pictures during her stay, which we really appreciated. We will definitely be requesting Marlena again!

Caroline did a great job watching our dog over the weekend at our home. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, and we always felt like our dog was in good hands. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure everything went smoothly. We came home to a happy dog and a well taken care of house.

Erica was wonderful to work with! Very responsive and gave us pet updates while we were away. When we got back our pets especially our dog looked like they were well taken care of and loved on by Erica. She took our dog on really long walks and I’m sure all the pets he could ask for. Will definitely book with Erica again :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Green Level on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 3,059 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Green Level. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Green Level walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Green Level maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Green Level choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Green Level. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
