Senior dog mom and wanderlust
I couldn’t imagine life without dogs! My family bred Labs when I was younger and I had a Westie. I’m very familiar with dog breeding and puppy care. There also might be a special place in my heart for small dogs that think they can take on the world! Fast-forward about 20 years and my own senior dog taught me a lot about senior care. When he passed away a couple years ago, I transitioned from requesting services to providing them. I completely understand the trust involved with opening up your home for someone to care for your pets. I promise to value that through constant communication and lots of pictures. I can be very consistent with training but spoil them with treats, rubs, and walks.

Marlena was great with Maddie. This was our first experience leaving our dog with someone other than family and it went great. Maddie was well taken care of by Marlena. She sent us updates and pictures during her stay, which we really appreciated. We will definitely be requesting Marlena again!
Marlena took amazing care of our sweet Pyrenees while we were away! She was attentive and sent timely pictures throughout the week. We were incredibly grateful for such a warm, attentive, and kind person to watch our dog!!
Marlena took great care of Jax when we were away. She was very reliable and loving on Jax. We will use her services again!!!

Marlena recently house sat for my senior pit Winnie. It's the first time I've had someone in my home to watch him - and I was very nervous. Winnie's routine and food schedule is pretty intense - but Marlena was fine with it. All went seamless, and I would absolutely recommend Marlena. I was able to get away for a nice weekend with friends without worry - and as a pet parent - we know that's like gold.
Marlena was wonderful with my 4 huskies. They were well taken care of. She sent me pictures of them and followed all of the instructions. The house was kept clean and in order. I would definitely book with Marlena again.

Schedule
I currently work 7a-5p Monday through Friday with an occasional evening appointment. I’ll be sure to discuss your particular schedule/needs during a meet and greet.
