“David was so great! He took such good care of my kitty and was super prompt and communicative. He sent me several pics of her throughout my vacation - and he's a pro! I'm stealing all of them for my Rover profile. David was fantastic all around!”

“We are officially repeat customers ❤️ Laura is very reliable, compassionate and caring. My kitties are very happy to see her when she visits and Laura has a great routine to corral my runaways. I have no worries when I know she is coming to see my girls. Thank you!!!”

“Doh took excellent care of my cats including getting emergency medical attention when one fell ill. I have complete trust in her judgment and confidence in her dedication to the cats and my home. She has great attention to detail and communication skills.”

About: I've fostered dogs and cats from 1 day old to 16 years old for the last 9 years. I've taken care of all sorts of special needs including dogs with paralysis, cats in kidney failure, and dogs with dementia. I spend my Fridays walking the more challenging pups at the Sacramento SPCA. I'm familiar with subcutaneous fluid injection, oral medications (both liquid and tablet form), and diaper changes for dogs with those kinds of issues. I'm currently returning to school to become an oncology nurse. When I'm not going to school, I care for animals. I have a decent amount of free time, but not enough for a full time job. I'm very adept at meeting new dogs and cats. Patience, understanding, and care are key. I'm very diligent as far as animal health as well. I don't have kids. I have dogs and cats.

“I don't leave home often, so I was so thankful to find Terisa in a pinch. I honestly thought I had the best rover sitters in the past, until I was able to use Terisa! The amount of communication and informing me on everything the little rascals were getting into should be an example for all, she takes the best photos of the fur babies too. She went above and beyond on all of my kitties needs and even took it upon herself to clean up the vomit from my older cat and some poop smears my young fluffy cat who just couldn't handle me being away. Asked just the right questions and figured out what she could on her own. Best rover sitter experience I've had, Terisa will be the first person I call for all future sitting needs! Thank you!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience, versatility, and special skills. Not only do I currently dog sit and house sit for three families on an as-needed basis, but I also bring a wealth of experience in handling dogs of all ages and needs. I’m skilled at training puppies, which includes basic obedience and socialization techniques. Additionally, I’m comfortable with senior dogs, providing them with extra care and attention to meet their specific health and mobility needs. My commitment to understanding each dog’s unique personality and routine ensures they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away. I currently work full-time in a community-based job where I have the flexibility to create my own schedule. I like to tailor my schedule around my needs for the week, with weekends being when I have the most availability. My current families prefer that I stay in their home, and I’m open to doing the same with other families as well When caring for pets in my client's home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions or routines the family has established. I ensure pets are fed on time, given fresh water, and get the appropriate amount of exercise and attention. I also monitor their health, administer any needed medications, and keep the environment safe and clean. If there are specific needs or requests for the pets, I prioritize those to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in the absence of their owners

“Cheyenne was an amazing cat sitter!! She committed to helping us out super last minute and had great communication while we were out of town. She sent beautiful photos and updates on each kitty which made me feel confident they were in loving, caring hands. We highly recommend Cheyenne for all of your pet sitting needs! We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as i can remember. I've been the one all my family and friends call upon to come pet sit. I can give baths, walks and nail trims. I work full time at a pet store. I'm able to swing by on my lunches, before and after my shifts and i primarily work earlier in the day. I have Fridays and Saturdays off. I'm only able to pet sit at clients homes because I'm in an apartment with my own furbabies, that way the pets feel more comfortable in their own home.

“Bethany was amazing! My cat has diabetes and not only did Bethany check my cat’s blood sugar and give her insulin, but she also showed me a better spot on my cat to inject insulin. This was my first time using Rover and Bethany came over to learn my cat’s routine and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend Bethany, especially if your pet has medical needs!”

“Johnna was wonderful. She went above and beyond in caring for my elderly cat, and helped me understand how Rover works. (This was my first Rover booking). She is reliable, detailed, and gives great updates on your pets. I am so relieved to know that there is somebody I can trust to come into my home, and care for my fur babies. I look forward to being able to call on her in the future.”

About: I grew up with a full range of dog breeds and even horses! Those big pups don't worry me at all! I am runner who enjoys 4-legged company, and I currently use that skill while volunteering at Bradshaw Animal Shelter with their Pit Bull Socialization and Obedience Crew (PB SOC). In addition, I take daily walks along the river just behind my house. I find every dog has a unique personality that deserves patience and understanding, mutual respect is of the utmost importance to me. BONUS: I own an event and portrait photography company, so the check-in photos and selfies are going to be top-notch.

About: We know that leaving your pet can be tough! You want them to feel safe and cherished, not lonely or stressed. Our family engages, plays, and pampers your pet, ensuring they remain in their happy zone while you're busy with life or traveling. We aren't just a service; we promise to keep tails wagging! We tend to the unique personalities of each pet, whether they're lively pups or serene seniors. Your pet deserves all the love, and we’re dedicated to making sure they get it. I work from home full time, with my chocolate lab as my constant Supervisor, so your dog will never be alone. We are raising our boys to be responsible young men and they will assist in the care of your pet if you are comfortable with that. Our boys very much enjoy being part of hosting our furry friends. We are happy to host low energy older dogs or make sure your high energy pup gets regular walks and play time. Apologies, no kitties due to allergies. We offer boarding in our home, doggy daycare, drop-in visits, and walking. Open to talking adjusted rates for partial day care versus advertised rate for full day. Contact for more info! We keep frozen lick mats ready as a treat (with parent approval of course). We have a large yard that is fully fenced! We still always provide walks. Your pup will never be lonely with 3 human children to play with and 2 year old chocolate lab companion. However, we do have plenty of spaces to provide separation when needed so no pup gets overstimulated. If you would like drop-in care for your pup in your home, I will be sure to respect all instructions. I am very reliable and have a flexible schedule.

“Tara was wonderful taking care of bandit. She made the effort to really comfort and interact with our cat and made sure we knew she was ok during a long vacation. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12. Reptiles, cats, dogs, and birds. I’ve had all sorts of pets as well: cats, dogs, snakes, chameleons, ducks and chickens. I’m available any time after 5:00pm on weekdays; I currently work at a law firm as a paralegal. I am usually free Saturdays and Sundays. I like to make pets feel like they’re in their own home. They’re allowed to play on the couch, on my bed, in the living room. As long as they’re having fun and feel safe then I’m happy! I do enjoy being active, so I would totally take the dogs out for a walk or a hike (if owner permits it). I do have two cats but they both get along with all animals as well. I live in a 4 story town home, so there’s enough space for multiple furry friends! ◡̈

Johnna was wonderful. She went above and beyond in caring for my elderly cat, and helped me understand how Rover works. (This was my first Rover booking). I hired Sara for a drop-in for my two cats and requested she also water my backyard vegetable garden. During the meet and greet my cats warmed to her quickly and I knew she would be great with them. She took notes on what to do and where to find things which gave me confidence in the service she would provide. On the day of the drop-in she was punctual and communicated when she arrived. She sent pictures, handled all the tasks to care for our cats with ease and went above and beyond to play with our two cats. I would hire Sara again and recommend her to others. Your fur babies would be in great hands. Thank you, Sara!

Kristin is fabulous. My cats loved her. Without my asking she cleaned the litter off the floor and even watered the plants in my front that are not on sprinklers. She is very responsive and responsible and fantastic with animals. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing sitter for my fur babies. It makes me feel more comfortable going away. Book her if you can!

Jourdan went above and beyond, I had zero worries about my usually hard to work with dog (who got along fine with Jourdan, a miracle but no actually it was because my dog could tell Jourdan understood her behavior and knew how to be a friend) and 2 cats were very well cared for. Thank you so much, Jourdan!
