“Christina was great! She sent me a bunch of photos each day and took Leo on multiple walks daily! He was tired when I picked him up and that takes a lot to do. Will absolutely book again”

“Julie did an amazing job taking care of our cat, Cal! He is usually shy and fearful of strangers, but she was incredibly patient with him and soon coaxed him out of his shell. Julie also did a great job of sending us a constant stream of pictures and updates. I highly recommend her!”

“Lyn was amazing and so accommodating! Lucy had a fabulous stay with her. She also administered her daily medicine and provide updates, e.g., videos and pictures, about Lucy’s stay. That was a big plus. Thank you, Lyn!”

“Zelun took fantastic care of our dog for over a week during Thanksgiving! Our dog usually takes a few days to perk up and get used to her new situation, but she settled in after the first night! Zelun sent daily pictures and videos from walks and afternoon sun naps, and our dog looked sooooo happy in every picture. Would 10/10 recommend.”

“Lynne took such great care of Napoleon. Napoleon is a senior dog with diabetes and cushings disease and Lynne had never given insulin shots to a dog before but took it on without fail! Napoleon came home super happy and healthy. We are so thankful to have found Lynne to care for our little old man while we went away for the week.”

“Andreas took such wonderful care of our small doodle. He seems to genuinely love dogs, and our pup had a great time staying with him. He also sent along many photos and updates of their day. 10/10!”

“Rylee and roommate, Megan, did a great job caring for our dog, Scout. They are young women, very responsible, with a good space and ability to care for dogs while travelling. Walking paths and open areas for the dogs to walk and explore nearby. Thumbs up!!”

“Rachel was great! It was Harley’s first time staying with a new sitter and he can be unpredictable, but Rachel was reassuring and positive about watching Harley and that helped ease my anxiety! She was communicative, sent pictures and did a great job with giving Harley his meds that he is sometimes fussy about. Very happy to have a new reliable dog sitter to add to my rotation!”

“Grace and Andrew were great! Super responsive, kept us constantly updated on Gus and all the fun activities they did with him, and sent lots of photos which we appreciated! They were able to keep up with our high-energy boy and took great care of him. Thank you guys, highly recommend!”

“Todd was awesome! Very communicative and attentive, and clearly seemed to provide a great environment for Beau to stay. He came home clearly taken care of, calm, and happy.”

“John is the best sitter we could ask for! Our dog loves him and he spoils her with affection and lots of walks. We have now trusted him with a short trip and now a much longer trip. He provides great updates and makes us feel at ease leaving our baby. I would recommend him to any dog owner!”

“Guillermo did a fantastic job with my dog, Kiara. She gets nervous around new people, so it’s always tough for me to leave her. I booked an overnight stay with Guillermo to see if they’d be a good fit, and it went perfectly. As soon as I arrived, I felt comfortable. Guillermo showed me around the house so I could see where Kiara would stay, which put me at ease. Kiara quickly warmed up to him and didn’t seem upset when I left. During the day, Guillermo sent thoughtful updates and photos, which really helped me relax. When I came back to pick up Kiara, she was happy to see me. She gave me a few kisses and then settled on the couch like she was at home. I really appreciated Guillermo’s care, communication, and the calm, friendly atmosphere he created. I have already booked with him again.”

Kurt was amazing with Piggy! He asked great questions prior to the visit to ensure he knew how to best care for Pigglet. I got daily updates with photos - he took great care when Pig got stung by a wasp when out playing. I had no stress while I was away knowing she was in good hands!

Fernanda was awesome!! She accommodated our last minute booking and took great care of our dog Tamsin. Even though Tamsin can be pretty anxious, from the videos and pictures Fernanda regularly sent us it was clear that Tamsin was comfortable under Fernanda’s care. Would definitely recommend.

Julia was amazing! She agreed to watch our pup for a long holiday weekend with very little notice. She went out of her way to make sure he had a great time, especially in the midst of a heatwave when she took it upon herself to take our pup swimming (checking in beforehand to make sure it was alright with us). She really went above and beyond. She's great at communicating and our pup loved her! Will def rebook.

We couldn't have asked for better care for our dog while we were away over the holiday weekend. Krystal and William tailored their care to Benny's needs, made special treats for him, took him on plenty of walks, and sent dozens of pictures and updates throughout the weekend. It was such a relief knowing that our little guy was in good hands while we were gone. Will be booking again in the future :)

I had a great experience with Augustin, and I would happily book with him again. He was professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. Gogol had a wonderful time in his care, and it gave me great peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands while I was traveling overseas. Throughout the stay, he kept me updated and treated Gogol as if he were his own. When I picked Gogol up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for—a true sign of a great sitter. I also appreciated his reliability, thoughtfulness, and genuine love for dogs. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Gogol!

Ela took such good care of my dog Zoe! She was super responsive, accommodating and reliable from the very beginning. She sent pictures and updates throughout the week so that I could have a stress free vacation. And my dog seemed happy when I picked her up. Overall 10/10

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
