About: Since I was a child, animals have been a fundamental part of my life and my family. We have always opened our doors to stray dogs and cats, offering them a loving home and treating them as cherished family members. I grew up surrounded by animals and learned from an early age the importance of responsibility, compassion, and providing them with the care and affection they deserve. My childhood was filled with moments of joy and learning as I watched these once scared and vulnerable animals transform into confident and loving companions. This experience taught me that every animal, regardless of their background, deserves a chance to be loved and cared for. Over time, my connection with animals grew even stronger. During my university years, I began formally helping friends and acquaintances by caring for their pets while they were away. This role always felt natural to me, as I have always had a deep and innate bond with animals. I found great fulfillment in ensuring that these pets felt safe, happy, and well cared for in their owners’ absence. Whether spending hours playing with them, making sure they were fed on time, or simply providing companionship, I approached every task with dedication and love. That was when I realized that caring for animals was not just a responsibility but a true calling. Over the years, I have continued offering my pet-sitting services on an occasional basis, always with full commitment, responsibility, kindness, and respect. To me, animals are beings of pure nobility, and I have made it my mission to provide them with the best possible care, as if they were part of my own family. I have cared for pets with all kinds of personalities, from shy and reserved to energetic and playful, and each one has taught me something new about patience, empathy, and unconditional love. Although I have not pursued a formal career in animal care until now, I have always been willing to contribute to this field, helping whenever I have been asked. My experiences have shown me that caring for animals is not just about meeting their physical needs but also about understanding their emotions and building a bond of trust. This is something I have always prioritized, and it has brought me immense joy to see the positive impact I can have on their lives. Additionally, I want to highlight that I have been vegan for nearly ten years, a decision that has deeply shaped my perspective on animal welfare. This lifestyle has allowed me to engage in various causes dedicated to protecting and advocating for animals, always with a foundation of empathy and respect for all living beings. My journey as a vegan has reinforced my belief that animals are not just companions but sentient beings who deserve dignity, compassion, and a life free from harm. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. As I currently do not have a regular job, I have the flexibility and availability to dedicate the necessary time and attention to the pets I care for. This allows me to structure my days entirely around their needs, ensuring they receive the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply providing companionship, I am fully committed to making their well-being my top priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my primary goal is to maintain their routine and environment as closely as possible to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease. I provide all the necessary care, including regular feeding, playtime, and affection, while always respecting their personal space and boundaries. Additionally, I ensure their living areas are clean, organized, and hygienic, creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for them. Before starting any pet care service, I prioritize getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. I prefer to have a detailed conversation with the client to understand their pet’s habits, preferences, behaviors, and any special requirements. This allows me to tailor my approach and provide personalized care that aligns with the pet’s routine and comfort level. For dogs, I take them out for walks to ensure they receive the physical activity and mental stimulation they need. I adjust the frequency, duration, and intensity of the walks based on each dog’s age, energy level, and health. For cats, I focus on interactive play and enrichment activities that cater to their natural instincts, such as chasing toys or exploring climbing structures. Throughout my time with the pets, I keep the client informed with regular updates, including photos and videos, so they can feel reassured that their furry friend is happy and well-cared for.

About: I’ve always had a dog! Or 2! They’re in my soul! Currently an SPCA Volunteer with dog handling experience. I love the uniqueness of every dog and they seem to love my approach and rubs! - I’ll treat yours like mine! I Paw-miss! I’m a part time pharmacist and volunteer for BCSPCA and Lendapaw! Thursday to Sunday are easy - I’m available! Mon-Wed available evenings - daytime availability can vary. If interested in my services please enquire! If I’m unavailable I can help you find someone who is! I have a large yard complete with ice rink in the winter. My 8yr old Golden Retriever loves stealing pucks! Zoomies can be accommodated safely! Relaxation in sun or shade! No pool but, lake access is 5mim down the hill! Beach trips are easy! One cat named Heidi, your dog will never see and one named Louis who runs the house in his mind! Dogs and cats are family! But, if there’s rules you want enforced we can be bad ass too! Couch or no couch you decide! We enforce! In your home or mine they’ll get nothing but love and good rubs!

And dog park that is a 10 minute walk away. Lots of trails and hikes around the area as well.

She can be unsure when meeting new people but he won her over quickly and soon had her playing and even let him brush her.
