“Michaela was very friendly and quick to respond. She left me a detailed account of what her and my pup did in there time together. My pup was very excited to have her drop by and spend some quality time with him.”

About: I have a large mix breed rescue pup who we have developed lots of skills and knowledge from through his care and training. He is now 1.5 years old and I would love to apply these skills to caring for your pets whilst you’re away! I know how important and sometimes difficult it is to find the right person to look after your dog or cat in your absence. There is also the potential for finding a dog friend for our own pup so that we could have a mutual pet sitting relationship ☺️ Growing up, we had a family cat who was a member of the family and lived until 20 years old. As an adult, I have looked after and cared for many of my housemates pets including their cats and several dogs. I love animals and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to spend time with your beloved pets while you’re away. I work full-time but I would be able to check on and care for your pets before 8am and after 4pm. I am also available for the whole weekend and summer break July and August. Currently, I would like to pet sit in your house whilst our puppy is still in training. We may eventually be able to board in our home also.
About: My senior chihuahua is not much of a walker anymore so looking to meet other dogs that like to go for longer walks or shorter if they want :) I am a travelling pet sitter and live out of my van with my senior chihuahua so am very flexible for sits or walks . My Chico is most comfortable in the van cause he knows it’s our home I’m really easy to get along with and flexible to clients needs for their pets , communication is always key to keep pets happy and safe .
About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with both cats and dogs of all ages. I currently have two senior cats that I’ve had since I was young, which has given me extensive experience with daily care, monitoring health changes, administering medications when needed, and understanding the unique needs of older pets. Growing up, my family had two German Shepherds and a Labrador Retriever. Through the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with feeding routines, exercise, and providing attentive companionship. I also volunteered multiple times at a dog shelter in Mexico, where I helped care for dogs by feeding them, spending time socializing and comforting them, and assisting staff with basic care tasks. I additionally helped with the intake of new puppies, including assisting during vaccination appointments. One of my most rewarding experiences was rescuing and fostering a puppy I brought back from Mexico that was at risk of being surrendered to a shelter. I cared for her, helped with her socialization and daily needs, and ultimately found her a loving forever home after she spent a month with me. I genuinely love animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. From hiking to just hanging out, I’d love to hang out with your fur babies! Pet care is already a part of my daily life. I work part-time and am completing my Bachelor's degree online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. Since I spend much of my time at home, I can easily incorporate pet care into my routine and ensure pets get the attention they need. I always follow the pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. In both my home and a client's home, I provide fresh water, feeding, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also make sure pets have a clean, safe environment and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I'm happy to adapt my care to their personality, age, and routine.
“Georgia was great with my cats! She was able to administer an inhaler for my senior and make sure she only had access to her special vet food. My kitten was scared at first, but quickly got attached to her. Georgia was also great with helping water plants and take garbage out while I was travelling for work. She is very responsible and I felt reassured knowing she was here to help. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hello, my name is Richard “Brock”. I am certified in first aid & pet CPR. I’m a registered evaluator for the AKC and have evaluated dozens of dogs for their CGC tests (Canine good citizen). I’m also a regular at dog training/behavior workshops and conferences (most notably the IACP). Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries or questions, thank you! I volunteered at my first shelter when I was 9 walking dogs. In the past 20 years I’ve worked as a dog trainer and continued my volunteer work across the US and Canada. I’ve also spent time training therapy dogs, service dogs, as well as training future K9 police dogs in detection and bite work. I spent time in California training dogs in rattlesnake avoidance. In my pictures you can see some of the dogs I’ve worked with and some of the group classes I’ve lead. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve had many of my own pets of all shapes and sizes along the way. I recognize how important it is for our pets to have continued love and attention when we have to leave them at home. If you choose for me to work with your pet I can assure you they will have their needs met and will get plenty of love and attention along the way. If you have any questions about my background or additional services feel free to ask! I am in school so I will spend the majority of my time working on projects while hanging out with the animals I care for! There are three dogs and multiple birds in my house. I recently lived in a home with 7 dogs. It’s important that each animal within the house has their own needs met and are treated accordingly.

About: I’m originally from Ontario and recently began my career in Kelowna. I grew up with two poodles, and I miss them dearly. While I can’t care for my own dogs right now, I would love the chance to share that same care and affection with your pets. I’m very active and go for daily walks, and I’d love a furry companion to join me. When I’m not out and about, I enjoy relaxing on the couch. I work Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pets have always been a part of my life, and they bring me so much joy. In my home, they’ll be treated like family, and I’ll provide that same level of care and attention in yours. I understand how much our pets mean to us—they’ll be played with, walked, cuddled, and well-fed, and they might even pick up a trick or two along the way!
About: I have 6 years of pet sitting experience with many different animals such as cats, dogs and other small pets. I am reliable and affordable and will provide the best care for your pets! I take care of pets daily as I have my own dog whom I love so much. I will also occasionally pet sit for family and friends. I have made sure my house is a very pet friendly space provided with lots of entertainment, water and food bowls around the house. No dangerous or small items are scattered around my place.
About: We have owned many dogs and are very experienced and caring dog owners. We love dogs and will take very good care of your fur baby while they are under our care in our home. There are lots of trails to walk your dog just steps outside our door. I am retired and my husband works from home so we are able to watch your dog most days and nights and for extended periods of time. We have large front and back yards, as well as many walking trails just outside our door with plenty of room for your dog to run and get their exercise. We don’t currently have our own pet, but love dogs and will take very good care of your pet while we dog-sit. We live in a small gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. We often watch and board our friends’ Labrador while his owners travel.
About: We live out in the country with ample room to run and play. Our house has two separate homes so our family cat can be fully separated from other animals. Every pet we care for becomes a temporary part of our family and is treated as such! The rules in our home are whatever rules the pet is already used to in their own home and as instructed by each and every owner. This applies to being allowed on the bed/couch or not, walking on or off leash, treats, or what have you! We homeschool during the week and are typically out in the late afternoon/early evenings for activities. Pets are welcome to come with us for car rides if appropriate, or stay at home if owners prefer. We will always do our best to care for others' pets exactly as the owners wish us to do so in regards to routines, needs, habits, etc. We will ensure your pet is comfortable, happy, loved, and well taken care of. We prefer boarding at our home, but will occasionally offer house-sitting as well.
About: Hi! I’m originally from the UK and have been living in Canada for the past two years. While I’m not in a position to have a pet of my own right now, I’ve always been surrounded by animals and genuinely love caring for them. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have experience caring for animals in a variety of settings — from working at kangaroo sanctuaries to providing pet-sitting services for guests at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Through this, I’ve looked after a wide range of dog breeds, personalities, and care needs, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, and having them around makes our apartment feel much more like home. I work remotely from home with a flexible work schedule so I can accommodate most requests. I also live with my sister so the pups get double the love and attention! We live downtown in a safe and secure first floor apartment with a small fenced yard. We have space for the pups to play and relax and often go out around the area.
Kelowna dog parents share their Rover experiences
I’ve had Yolanda do two drop-in visits in my home for my two pups (16 month old labradoodles) and she did a great job. She took them for a little stretch break and sent pics during the visit, etc. Both pups were calm when I got home and she had no problem with their little routine. Glad I called her and will have her back to hang out with my pups again!

Shana is honestly the best, takes the time to make sure the animals are cared for and spends time with them every time she stops by. I feel so at peace being gone knowing my animals are in such good hands. I’ll never book anyone else unless I absolutely have to!! Absolutely the best and just a genuine and kind hearted human.

After meeting a few dog walkers during my summer stays in Kelowna, I decided to give Fenrir a try. I'm glad I did. Fenrir has been one of the best dog walkers I've ever had. With a very high level of knowledge, passion and care for dogs, Fen truly stands out and my dog loves Fen. Reliability and professionalism are also clear strengths, with consistent punctuality and commitment to every scheduled walk. Most importantly, I feel peace of mind knowing my dog is in capable, responsible hands.

I booked a pup check-in visit with Katherine with short notice for my two mini Labradoodles and the entire process was just terrific. Her communication was great, she was on time and sent lovely pics of my pups. They were calm when I returned home and I wouldn’t hesitate to have Katherine here again!
