About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old and have always had dogs in my family. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I love getting dogs out for walks, but I’m just as happy spending time with the little cuddle buddies who prefer relaxing on the couch. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already enjoy making time for walks, outdoor activities, and relaxing at home with a furry cuddle buddy. I can plan morning and evening walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins around my work schedule, with additional flexibility on weekends. I’m organized and will always make sure your pet receives consistent care, attention, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll carefully follow their usual routine, feeding instructions, walking preferences, and any special care needs. I’ll keep doors and gates secure, use a leash during walks, and make sure their environment is clean and free from anything unsafe. I’ll also give them plenty of attention, respect their boundaries, and send regular updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, and have done lots of pet sitting for friends and family's animals before! I've taken care of puppies, elderly dogs, kittens, older cats, and everything in between! I have lots of time to spend with your wonderful pets! I love to get outdoors, so I'm more than happy to take your pets outside lots! About: 5 years ago I came across an abandonned dog in the street and I fell in love with dogs right away. I truely believe that humans don't deserve them! I used to pet sit for friends and family quite a bit back in my home country and would love to watch your dog while you're away. As a work from home professional, I can provide a comforting presence or keep an eye on your dog all day long. My non-neutered dog Jacki is very friendly and playful. I would need our dogs to meet before the sit to ensure they get along. I always start my day with a walk. I then work from home 9 to 5. I can take your dog out during my lunch break. After work it's play time! I love spending time playing fetch, taking my dog to an off-leach dog park or beach or even teaching him new tricks. I spend most of my evening at home, and before bed time, I take the dog for a potty break. On the weekends, I like to go hiking and camping. I live in an apartment with balcony, 100% safe for dogs. I can give your dog some personal space if needed. My dog gets yearly preventive treatment against ticks, fleas, and worms in addition to having all of his vaccinations up to date. I need the same in return for yours!

About: I grew up around dogs and over the years have been a reliable dog-sitter/walker for friends and family. I have fostered dogs and was a foster-fail (meaning we adopted) with my dog Juno who is featured in most of my pictures. I have learned so many skills from fostering and raising Juno. I keep Juno quite structured in her day to day because she thrives off that being a working breed, with lots of down time and snuggles. I am respectful of how each owner operates and will follow instructions diligently. I recently moved to Kelowna from Ontario for school. I am a social worker back home and currently doing my MSW at UBCO. My schedule is quite flexible, I’m available Friday-Tuesday anytime and Wednesdays and Thursdays I only have morning availability. I currently do not have any pets in my home, I am doing long distance from both my partner and my dog Juno. When I am interacting with pets in my home or their home I am respectful of their space and needs, and provide structure as needed.

About: Growing up on a hobby farm surrounded by a wide variety of animals, and never knowing life without a cat, I was taught from a young age how to be a compassionate and attentive caregiver. My parents were active in professional dog breeding and showing, which provided me with extensive experience around diverse breeds, from Akitas to Pomeranians. Over the past six years, I have gained a great deal of experience with specialized cat and dog care. My soul cat fell ill in 2020 and again this last spring, and I got him through both times, learning how to administer a wide variety of medications and how to care for a special needs cat. Since 2020 I have also dedicated myself to training a medical service dog for my daughter, gaining hands-on experience in obedience, agility, and specialized care. My lifelong passion for animals, combined with this deep-rooted knowledge of training and behavioral needs, makes me a reliable and trustworthy partner for your pet. This allows me the flexibility to work from anywhere, on my own schedule. I will fit any work I need to do around your pet's schedule. I do have my own cat at home and have support with caring for him while I care for yours! I am detail oriented and will be happy to carefully follow your instructions, maintaining a routine your pet is accustomed to, in their home where they are most comfortable. I can stay at your home or I can make visits to your home to check in and provide care as often as you need (up to 3x/day). I am also happy to offer dog walking. Your pet's health, safety, and well- being is always my first concern. I will always show your loved ones the same care and compassion I show my own.

About: Fear Free Certified, Veterinary Technician, can safely administer medications (oral and injectables), comfortable handling various breeds and sizes of dogs and cats, flexible schedule to suit your needs. I am available to care for your pets Wednesday through Saturday and can drop in multiple times during the day. I also offer overnight home/pet sitting in your home. I require: A meet and greet at your home prior to accepting your pet into my care to ensure that we are a good match. A good overview of any medications that are required. I can administer injections, pills, SubQ fluids, topicals, as well as wound management. A credit card and permission be placed on file with your regular Veterinarian should an emergency arise while in my care. Your pet's well-being is my top priority.

During walks and adventures, I maintain close supervision and use secure, appropriate handling at all times. Your dog will never be off leash. Standard walks are done on a regular leash, but I also have several long leads available as an option. These allow dogs more freedom to explore, sniff, and move naturally while still maintaining the safety and control of a leash. I’m especially mindful around traffic, other dogs, unfamiliar environments, and changing weather conditions. I’ll never push a dog beyond what they’re comfortable with. One cat named Heidi, your dog will never see and one named Louis who runs the house in his mind! Dogs and cats are family! But, if there’s rules you want enforced we can be bad ass too! Couch or no couch you decide! We enforce! In your home or mine they’ll get nothing but love and good rubs!

I have had 6+ years of experience training my Labrador retriever, we have completed training courses as well as a 4 month long agility program. About: Our family always had at least 3 pets at one time while I was growing up. I've looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, rats and chinchillas. With most experience being with dogs and cats. I've taken my own dog through 3 different obedience courses as well as agility. I have a good understanding of basic training techniques. My full time job has flexible hours which will make me available to check on pets midday most week days and if needed a more active hike or play on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm contracted hourly for work so generally have gaps in my day where I can be available for a few hours at a time. I really enjoy getting out for hikes when I can. I have had a few private dog sitting roles prior to being on rover. Generally, I get pets out for a walk or play depending on the yard set up and check fresh water and food are available depending on specified instructions.

About: New to Kelowna.. My love for pets is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of pet sitting. I have been a dog walker/dog sitter and have been boarding dogs for 8+ years.
