“I’ve had Yolanda do two drop-in visits in my home for my two pups (16 month old labradoodles) and she did a great job. She took them for a little stretch break and sent pics during the visit, etc. Both pups were calm when I got home and she had no problem with their little routine. Glad I called her and will have her back to hang out with my pups again!”

“I cannot express how amazing Ashley was with my puppy Chester. He was so calm and looked content as can be when I came home. Ashely followed the guidelines for Chester and was so respectful of our home. She was clear with communication and punctually with her recording/log of his car. I will for sure be asking Ashley to help with Chester again. ??”
“Kirstin did a great job! Chika and Phoebe really liked her. I was pleased that she followed all my detailed instructions with enthusiasm. When I came home the dogs were calm and relaxed.”
“Toni is amazing! She did drop off visits for my french bulldog for about 2 weeks. He’s a bougie little guy who gets his lunch meal prepped (due to pancreatitis) and heated up. She came by for about an hour everyday and fed him/ took him out. She also took the time to do drop by introduction before taking care of him. After the first visit he was waiting by the door looking for her the entire night when I get home. If I afford to hire her full time I would. Highly recommend trying her out if you need someone to care for your pets!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I had my own dog for over 10 years, and he unfortunately passed away last summer, so I’m looking to share some love with some pets who could use a little extra. I work full time, but I have flexibility in my schedule, and am always happy to swing by before or after work to visit/walk/feed, and I’m always happy to stay at your place and give that comfortable safe home space energy to your pets. Pets always get lots of love and snuggles if they like, or space if that’s what they’d prefer. Our pets are our family, and the deserve to be treated with the same love and care.
“Angela was so professional and supportive while assisting me with delivering my cat her meds. I am a long time cat owner, but the new to me cat is the first I have had who absolutely needs to be put in a "purrito" or she will run away and hide and spit up all of the medicine. Angela was so gentle with our cat and her kind approach helped us learn strategies to give kitty medications in the future. Sometimes you just need a professional. We appreciated Angela's help so incredibly much.”

About: My experience with pets is life long! I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals, worked on a horse farm and dog sat all throughout my teen years. I work in downtown Kelowna full time but my hours vary week by week. But I always have time for a nice long walk with your dog during the day! I do not offer pet care in my own home as I don't have the right outdoor space for it. I take great care to ensure your dog is safe, secure and happy during all walks and drop in visits. I also take great care when house sitting, making sure to leave it in even better condition than when I arrived.
About: Growing up on a hobby farm surrounded by a wide variety of animals, I was taught from a young age how to be a compassionate and attentive caregiver. My parents were active in professional dog breeding and showing, which provided me with extensive experience around diverse breeds, from Dobermans to Pomeranians. Over the past six years, I have also dedicated myself to training a medical service dog for my daughter, gaining hands-on experience in obedience, agility, and specialized care. My lifelong passion for animals, combined with this deep-rooted knowledge of training and behavioral needs, makes me a reliable and trustworthy partner for your pet. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, love, and respect I would give to my own. For the last ten years I have worked remotely, running a children's party company. This allows me the flexibility to work from anywhere, on my own schedule. I will fit any work I need to do around your pet's schedule. I do have my own cat at home and have support with caring for him while I care for yours! I am detail oriented and will be happy to carefully follow your instructions, maintaining a routine your pet is accustomed to, in their home where they are most comfortable. I can stay at your home or I can make visits to your home to check in and provide care as often as you need (up to 3x/day). I am also happy to offer dog walking. I will always show your loved ones the same care and compassion I show my own.

I have a full time job on Tuesday through Saturday. Not much time off but would love to dogsit your pup! About: I’m currently experiencing puppy fever, but I’m not entirely sure if I should commit fully to a pooch at this point as I am in a apartment. But for short visits and long walks would be amazing at this time. Looking forward to getting to meet your little one! I grew up with a beautiful golden retriever who loved the outdoors and swimming. I miss her sooo much. I’m thinking about getting a smaller dog! So here I am, willing to care for your precious pup. Looking for companions to keep me busy and someone to take on long walks. About: We have owned many dogs and are very experienced and caring dog owners. We love dogs and will take very good care of your fur baby while they are under our care in our home. We will play with them both inside and outside and take them for several walks while they are in our care. I am retired and my husband works from home so we are able to watch your dog for extended periods of time. We will take them out often for a stretch, to exercise and to do their business. We have large front and back yards, as well as many walking trails just outside our door with plenty of room for your dog to run and get their exercise. We don’t currently have our own pet, but love dogs and will take very good care of your pet while we dog-sit. We live in a small gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. We often watch and board our friends’ Labradors while their owners travel.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kelowna
We had an amazing experience with her! She went above and beyond in every way and gave us complete peace of mind while caring for our dog. She was reliable, kind, communicative, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was taken care of. It’s clear she loves animals and treats them like her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring Rover sitter. Thank you for everything!

Shana is honestly the best, takes the time to make sure the animals are cared for and spends time with them every time she stops by. I feel so at peace being gone knowing my animals are in such good hands. I’ll never book anyone else unless I absolutely have to!! Absolutely the best and just a genuine and kind hearted human.

After meeting a few dog walkers during my summer stays in Kelowna, I decided to give Fenrir a try. I'm glad I did. Fenrir has been one of the best dog walkers I've ever had. With a very high level of knowledge, passion and care for dogs, Fen truly stands out and my dog loves Fen. Reliability and professionalism are also clear strengths, with consistent punctuality and commitment to every scheduled walk. Most importantly, I feel peace of mind knowing my dog is in capable, responsible hands.

I booked a pup check-in visit with Katherine with short notice for my two mini Labradoodles and the entire process was just terrific. Her communication was great, she was on time and sent lovely pics of my pups. They were calm when I returned home and I wouldn’t hesitate to have Katherine here again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
