When my family got a puppy about 8 years ago Josh helped us care for him, giving him all the pets, playing fetch with him, and taking him on walks. I have seen this when Josh recently met my partner's dog for the first time. Her dog is slow to warm but Josh was gentle and patient with her until she was ready to let him near her. About: I've loved dog and felt a connection with them since I was a kid. Two years ago I took a course as a dog trainer, learning even more about their mind, behavior and what is best for them. I've been dog sitting for 10 years. I also volunteered in a dog shelter for a while. I'd love to take care of your furry friends! I'm currently looking for a job in the city so I have plenty of time to take care of your amazing dogs, going for a walk, feeding them or anything else they need! I am renting a small apartment at the moment, I can ask the landlord for permission if you need me to. Meanwhile I have plenty of parks and places around where I could walk your doggy!

About: -14 years of experience taking care of cats and dogs -Volunteered abroad in the Philippines in 2023 with animal rescue and rehabilitation -Active lifestyle for energetic dogs (but also love to cuddle!) I just finished my contract with BigBrotherBigSisters, where I taught elementary kids about their brains! I am a part time student at UBC Okanagan who loves to get outdoors. I see this as a great opportunity to provide and receive some animal love :). Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class from 6:30 to 8 but may be flexible! As a university student living downtown with roommates, I am available to house sit and take care of pets in clients homes. I know a lot of great walking trails around Kelowna :)

“Trinity has been the best sitter! She took care of my long haired cat, Waffles, for 6 months while I was away…and she did a fantastic job! Trinity is a very sweet caretaker, I noticed that when she interacted with my cat prior to sitting for me. I could see when I came home that she was in very very good hands and she also had fattened up Waffles a bit, which was great because my cat is 17 years old and a finicky eater. So she must have done something right. :) She also was on a supplement for her teeth and a medication which Trinity was able to administer for me, as well as she cleaned up all the accidents that my little old lady-Waffles-has had. Lastly, she took her to the vet right when she needed to go and I was so thankful for the ease of mind (being so far away) and getting her the help she needed asap. All in all, she has been responsible, caring, kind, and left my place and my little old lady well taken care of, clean, and happy. Trinity will put your mind at ease when you’re away.
