“Jutharat and her husband were absolutely wonderful with our dog! She got to go on a hike, explore and play in their beautiful backyard, and spend time with their sweet dog Pippi, who was such a great companion. It was so nice knowing she had a friendly buddy to hang out with. We also really appreciated the updates and photos. It gave us so much peace of mind. Our pup came home happy. Thank you so much!”

“Morgan took great care of Bear while we were out of town. Provided us with updates and photos, and was accommodating when we needed to change our pick up time. Thanks!”

“Jeanine was great! Incredibly warm, she absolutely loves dogs. My husband and I felt very comfortable leaving our precious dog, Maui, with her. She sent us updates every day and Maui came back a happy pup :) would highly recommend.”

“Rex always comes home so content after a weekend with Anothai and Mersad. They always communicate and send lots of photos and videos. We appreciate them so much.”

“Sue and Claude are great. Excellent hosts and easy communication. Felt totally comfortable leaving Sparky with them. Will definitely call on them again.”

“Chalan and Joel and their girls are THE BEST I have met thus far. And I have had experiences using sitter's across Canada due to our traveling schedules. Their house is clean. The whole family is just full of love for dogs. My baby is newly blind so it's hard for me to find anyone that'd be patient enough to take care of her. But after just 1 day, I know my worries are not necessary. My dog was pampered and spoiled. I highly recommend Chalan and her family.”

“My dog is a high maintenance dog and we had no issues at all. Darcy new how to handle my maltese and keep her happy, with updates and photos daily as well. Thank you.”

“Excellent communication and excellent services for Nala’s extended stay last week. I felt comfortable asking for updates and received them very quickly - with photos! Definitely would book with Bryden and Colleen again.”

“This is our first time booking with Rover.com. Joseph and Tina were the care providers for Charlie and Murphy. We are very happy with the care and attention our boys received. Our dogs settled in well and seemed very content with the experience. Joseph and Tina have a great home and yard to accommodate larger dogs. They were very flexible and allowed time for the dogs to get oriented and comfortable. It is important for Charlie and Murphy to get ample exercise, which Joseph and Tina were more than happy to make happen. All in all it was a great experience. We will not hesitate to book with them again.”

“Suzanne took very good care of our senior dog, Pepper. She kept us updated with how he was doing over the weekend. She is a very nice person and I would recommend her to anyone who needs someone to take good care of their dog!”

“Amy was awesome. She took great care of our dog and sent photos and daily check ins. It was obvious Freddie was comfortable with her and her home. Will definitely use her again. Highly recommended.”

“Gabrielle is sooo great and provides great warmth - in both her personality and home - for watching Rupert. Our boy had so much fun also with his good friend Juniper. On this first beautiful dat of Spring in the Okanagan, it looked like Rupert also enjoyed soaking up the sun on the balcony. Thank you so much, Gabrielle, for looking after Rupert and the great photos. Much appreciated!!”

“Cielo was an amazing sitter for our dog, Emma! From the start, she treated Emma like her own — warm, loving, and attentive. While we were away, Cielo sent frequent updates, notes, and lots of photos, which made us feel completely comfortable and at ease during our travels. It was clear Emma was happy, safe, and well cared for every day. Cielo went above and beyond to make sure Emma was comfortable and loved. We felt 100% confident leaving our pup in her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive, caring sitter! 🐶❤️”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for many years. I raised my two beloved dogs, Polo, a miniature American Eskimo, and TaiTai, a Pomeranian, from the time they were puppies until they reached the wonderful ages of 17 and 16. They passed on within the last year, and I feel incredibly lucky to have shared so many years and stages of life with them. 🩷 Caring for them throughout their lives, and especially during their senior years, gave me a great deal of hands-on experience. I prepared all of their meals at home, managed their medication schedules and regular veterinary care, and supported them through mobility changes with physiotherapy, acupuncture and laser therapy. Even as they got older, I made sure they continued enjoying plenty of fresh air through walks, stroller outings and time outdoors. Over the years, I also became very tuned in to canine body language and the little signals dogs give us. I tend to notice when a dog is feeling nervous, uncomfortable, overstimulated, tired or simply needs a little more space and reassurance. Every dog has their own personality, and I believe the best care comes from paying attention and adjusting to what helps that particular dog feel safe and comfortable. 🐾😊 🩷 I only care for one small dog at a time, so your dog will be my one special guest and will receive my full attention, care and companionship throughout their stay. I welcome small adult dogs and gentle seniors of all breeds. I generally accept dogs up to approximately 20 pounds, although I may consider a slightly larger dog depending on their temperament and needs. For safety, I do not accept puppies under 10 months old.🩷 I work from home and am home most of the time, so caring for a dog fits very naturally into my daily routine. I only board one dog at a time and currently have no pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention and all the care, companionship and affection I have to give during their stay. 😊 Their day can include regular bathroom breaks, walks, sniffing time outdoors, playtime, quiet time beside me while I work, and plenty of rest. Some dogs enjoy longer walks and exploring, while others, especially seniors, are happier with shorter outings and a slower pace. I am happy to adjust the amount of activity based on your dog’s age, energy level, mobility and normal routine.🐾 Your dog will have the run of the home and can follow me around, relax nearby while I work, play with their favourite toys or curl up wherever they feel most comfortable. I will also keep their meals, walks, bathroom breaks and bedtime routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home 🩷 Your dog will have the run of my home and will be treated like a little member of the household 🩷 Because I only board one dog at a time, my home stays quiet and peaceful, and I am able to give close attention to their comfort, eating, drinking, bathroom habits and behaviour throughout their stay. Whenever possible, I prefer to arrange a meet & greet before the first booking. This gives your dog a chance to meet me and explore the environment while you are still there. Dogs do not always understand why their person is leaving them somewhere new so I feel that a little familiarity beforehand can make the handoff less confusing and help them settle more comfortably. 😊🩷 It also gives us time to talk about your dog’s personality, routine, fears, habits, food needs and any special instructions. I will follow your care instructions closely and provide regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable while you are away. 🩷
“Viktoriia was amazing with Otis! I got lots of updates and she was great with her communication. He was nice and tired from going to the beach and playing. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Kelene was just a rare gem with our little fur baby. Her experience shows in understanding of different dog behaviors and tendencies and she is able to adapt or educate accordingly. She was fortunately available at super short notice and helping us further when our flight was delayed for another day! We came back and met him in the best state than he has ever been when left anywhere else and very settled in with Kelene. Thank you!”

“We couldn't be happier with the care Julia gave our dog while we were away! Leaving our pup at her house was so easy because she kept us updated the whole time with plenty of notes and photos. Our dog has medications that need to be given regularly, and Julia took care of it with zero issues. Our small dog also got along great with her big dog Blu, which was awesome to see. Julia genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and treats them like her own. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we travel. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!”

“Kailey is fantastic! Great communication and takes great care of your pet. Her love for animals really comes through. My cat was clearly well loved and cared for when I came back. Will definitely book her again!”

“Elizabeth has a gift with animals. She has great communication and makes you feel comfortable and confident to leave your fur babies when you have to. I highly recommend her!”

“Angela was so professional and supportive while assisting me with delivering my cat her meds. I am a long time cat owner, but the new to me cat is the first I have had who absolutely needs to be put in a "purrito" or she will run away and hide and spit up all of the medicine. Angela was so gentle with our cat and her kind approach helped us learn strategies to give kitty medications in the future. Sometimes you just need a professional. We appreciated Angela's help so incredibly much.”

“Hope took great care of our two cats while we were away. One of our cats is very shy and tends to hide, and Hope was thoughtful about feeding them separately to make sure both cats were eating properly. She sent us photos and updates of the cats, which we really appreciated, and went above and beyond with a few additional things we had asked. We would happily book Hope again. Thank you, Hope!”

About: I appreciate how intelligent cats are and how they have a mind of their own and follow their own rules. I have experience taking cats on walks around vehicles on leash. I have worked with cats behaviours (ignoring undesired behaviours and helping reward positive ones etc) to gradually help them learn to sit, go on walks, scratch posts etc.
“Viktoriia is an awesome dog walker. She responds quickly to our requests. She is friendly, committed, timely and most importantly our dog really looks forward to her arrival and walks. Thanks Viktoriia.”

“Kate was amazing! This was the first time I was leaving my cat with someone from rover and I was super nervous, but Kate updated me daily, and when I got home I could tell my cat was very well taken care of! My house was also kept very clean and I would highly recommend Kate if you need a cat sitter!”

“Patricia and her family did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 kitties. Throughout the time I was away, she provided lots of pictures, notes of what consisted during the visit and love towards each pet. It was a highlight to our day to see all of the pictures! She is very helpful and has great communication We will definitely be booking again with her :) Thank you so so much”

“Shana was amazing taking care of our shy cat, Charlie, and taking care of our house for an extended vacation. It took a bit for Charlie to open up, but Shana was patient and not too long after they definitely bonded. Shana kept us updated and took amazing care of our home. We would not hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommended.”

“Michaela provided drop in visits to our cat while we were out of town. We felt that she was very attentive to her needs, providing her with lots of cuddles and companionship! Michaela was very easy to communicate with, arrange an intro meeting prior to our travels and gave thoughtful updates with photos after her visits. Olive has a new best friend and we are very thankful for her visits! Thank you Michaela!”

“I’ve had Yolanda do two drop-in visits in my home for my two pups (16 month old labradoodles) and she did a great job. She took them for a little stretch break and sent pics during the visit, etc. Both pups were calm when I got home and she had no problem with their little routine. Glad I called her and will have her back to hang out with my pups again!”

About: I share my life with a sweet, high-energy Border Collie/German Shepherd/Husky mix, so I understand the importance of exercise, structure, and attentive care. Having spent most of my life around both dogs and cats, I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and needs. As an active person, I’m well-suited for high-energy play, long walks, and keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged. I aim to return every dog happy, fulfilled, and well-exercised. I also have experience with basic training and reinforcement, and I prioritize consistency, safety, and clear communication. You can count on me to be reliable, respectful of your routine, and attentive to your pet’s individual needs. I work a part time job at an e-bike rental shop downtown Kelowna, outside of work I am happy to take care of your pets, and I usually work a maximum of 6 hours. Rest assured that your pups will receive the attention and care they deserve. I am attention detailed at following your specific guidelines in entering and leaving your home. I am happy to do everything from caring for your pet as well as cleaning if you wish. We can talk about cleaning in person.

“I can't say enough about the GREAT care Anna gave my cat!!! she was given so much love and attention i thought she must have rubbed herself in Catnip! LOL she was healthy but not so happy to be home with this old lady (me). she was with a younger women that gave her all the playtime she needed. she's very understanding and kind., i HIGHLY recommend Anna!! i wish i could share all the pictures she took on the "daily" which also made me a little jealous. About: I am a university student at UBCO living at home with my family and 2 dogs. This gives me the unique flexibility to stay overnight and care for pets on short notice. I have had dogs my whole life, and currently have a senior rescue, and a puppy at home. This gives me the experience I need to care for all kinds of dogs, well trained, not yet trained, puppies, seniors, rescues, purebreds etc. I have been dog and cat sitting for family friends several times a year for over 3 years since high school. I am a very responsible person, extremely reliable, and communicate well. I love the outdoors and going for walks, as well as lazy days at home. I have a very flexible school and work schedule. I am a student at UBCO and have several 3-4 hour gaps in my day which I can come home and spend time with the pets. I am done my classes around dinner time, and can come straight home for the evening. On the weekends, I am a server at a restaurant in town and generally only work 4-6 hour shifts. This means I am around for the majority of the day. I have been dog walking for many years as I have had dogs my whole life. With clients, I try and keep the pet’s routine as similar as possible to their owner’s. I like to be around as much as possible and keep the pets as comfortable as they can be while their owner is away.

“Jeanine was great with our little Marty. He is quite shy with separation anxiety. I used to worry leaving him at doggy day care, but I felt much better leaving him with Jeanine and Tegan. Jeanine has a large gated yard yet still went the extra mile to put up more barricades by her fence to make sure little 10 pound Marty couldn’t sneak out. We look forward to Marty spending more time with Jeanine and Tegan.”

“From drop off to pick up everything was absolutely perfect! Pictures and videos of my fur love put me at ease. Thank you, will keep you on my list next time I need sitting. ⭐️”

“I recently visited Kelowna and needed someone to take care of my dog, Aki, on short notice. I was incredibly fortunate to find Suzanne. She was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I contacted her, she was friendly and accommodating. She took Aki in without hesitation and provided ample space for her to run and play. It was clear that she truly understands and loves dogs. Aki was well looked after, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such capable hands. I highly recommend Suzanne to anyone in need of pet care. Her kindness and dedication to Aki's well-being made all the difference during my trip.”

“Jutharat and her husband were amazing! Our fur baby couldn’t have been in better hands. They took her on a hike and she had some friends to keep her company. I would happily use their services again.”

I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the pets in my care. I can provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of companionship throughout the day. “Nash had a great time playing at Darcy’s and is exhausted now ha ha. He always gets excited when we drive up to her place. She takes good care of Nash. Thank you Darcy!!”

“Lovely couple with big hearts. I gave them very little notice but they were quite accommodating and helped me when I was in a bind. For that I am truly grateful. Tucker was very tired when he came home so I know he played and played.”

“Brandyn and his girlfriend Suki looked after my dog when I was passing through Kelowna for a medical appointment. It was 38° and I could never have left him in the car even in a parkade. It was such a relief knowing he was in airconditioning! He seemed quite relaxed with them which was surprising since he is an anxious dog, so clearly they have great dog vibes. I would feel very comfortable leaving Juno with them again another time.”

“Aiden and Amy were amazing. They took such good care of my dog and were great at staying in communication so I knew he was in good hands. I highly recommend them to take care of your pet.”

“My puppy Hoops had a great time today thank you so much Nancy. he’s now fast asleep after his amazing day. Thank you for all the pics that you sent during his stay. Highly recommended ?”

“Michelle took such good care of our baby girl! Penelope warmed up to her right away and Michelle sent me lots of photos throughout the day which made it easier to leave her. I will be using Michelle again!!”

“Katie took great care of our high energy 1.5 year old rescue! She provided regular updates with photos and videos, and is super flexible with our busy schedule. Will definitely book again!”

“Nicole was great with our dog Nova who is shy and reserved with strangers. Her calm demeanor and slow approach got Nova following her within a few minutes of meeting. Nicole sent us pictures throughout the sitting so we could see how she was doing. Would highly recommend having your doggo stay with Nicole!”

“Sylvie was amazing to deal with from the get-go. Quick to respond, experienced, clean, comfortable environment and very friendly. She spoiled my girl, took her out for a ride in her convertible and got her a treat. I am so thankful! 5 stars, would recommend and use again!”

About: I am a calm and quiet person, and I believe pets appreciate me because I understand the importance of giving them the time and space they need to adjust when I am in their space while their family is away. Growing up, I loved helping my family take care of their dogs. I have helped groom, train, feed, and walk their dogs. But I have always had a soft spot for cats and so the first pet of my own is a dog-like cat. I've pet-sat for my friends while they went on longer trips. I have taken care of small to medium sized dogs. I've also worked at a cat cafe, caring for as many as 20 cats at one time. Some of my responsibilities included cleaning, feeding, playing, and observing the cats to ensure they were living their best lives at the cafe before finding their forever homes. My pet is a 2 year old large breed cat whom I adore. He understands basic commands like sit, up, lay down, jump, give paw, spin, roll over, kiss, hug etc. Let me know what your pet's usual routine looks like and what you're looking for and we can go from there! For house sitting: Standard overnight sitting includes 1-2 daily check-ins and staying overnight. Custom schedules or higher-needs care can be accommodated at an adjusted rate. Safety and comfort are my top priority, and that starts with understanding your pet’s unique personality. If you have any notes or a care guide on their routine, please share them with me. I have a particular cat myself, so I’m very experienced with 'fussy' pets. I know that following their exact preferences isn't just about comfort—it’s about making sure they feel secure while you're away.
“Jenna was amazing! Great communication and the photos she took were better than any I’ve taken. She left a report card for Millie which is the absolute cutest! She managed to take Millie farther than I can in half an hour, so I know Millie got good exercise in while I was away!”

“Anna walked our two dogs while we were away for 10 days and she was really great. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures while we were away missing them. They loved their walks with her. Would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets for around ten years, and before that I had, and continue to, frequently house and dog sit! I am currently a student at UBCO and I am able to be quite flexible in my schedule in order to provide the care and services you may need! I can easily take care of animals with higher needs, and have experience with very high energy and moderately reactive animals! I try to be as accommodating as possible!
About: I have always had a cat in my life and I have also volunteered over 200 hours caring for cats at the SPCA. I experienced a wide variety of cats, including many shy and anxious ones. While I have the most experience with cats, I would love to take your well-behaved dog for a walk or run. I am currently a student taking online courses, so I have complete flexibility for drop-in visits and walks throughout the week. I plan my schoolwork around visits so I can meet your pet’s needs and stay consistent with their routine. I’m a calm and patient person, and I always let your cat or dog approach me on their own terms. I never force interaction—I give them the space they need to feel safe and comfortable around me.
“Laura is professional and reliable. She’s very great with my 6 month old puppy and is a great communicator. I hesitate writing a great review as I don’t want everyone scooping her up from me 😅”

About: I've had animals of my own my whole life and taken care of other's pets for 30+ years. I love all animals, but dogs are my favorite and they only sleep with me if they're allowed 😉. I'm just as happy cuddling with a cat though! I work from home, so I can provide around the clock care for your fur babies! I work from home and have lots of freedom and time to walk and care for your pets. I enjoy being active with the animals, also cuddling up and relaxing. I will provide care for your pets in your home exactly as you see fit. I follow directions well, am adaptable, and just want you and your animals to feel safe and cared for. I'm clean, conscientious and understand the trust and respect needed to have others in your personal space, and I honor that.

“Very happy using Micheala to walk our dog Ollie. He can be quite unsure about new people but she took the time to get to know him and listen to any suggestions that we had and he seems very happy with her now.”

“Kayla is such an excellent dog walker. She was punctual, very friendly with my dog and was very eager to work on training practices with my dog during her walk with him. I received photo updates throughout the walk as well!”

“Lori is fantastic with dogs. She establishes firm but loving contact which is exactly what is required. As a result, our boy is ecstatic to see her and behaves beautifully when with her. She is also an excellent communicator, professional and personable. Very happy to have found Lori and to have her looking after our boy.”

About: I've had the pleasure of caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life. I've owned many pets ranging guinea pigs, and bunnies to cats and a dog. I have had 6+ years of experience training my Labrador retriever, we have completed training courses as well as a 4 month long agility program. I have also gotten to care for many different cats, and their unique personalities. I am currently self employed, mostly working remotely with a flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to care for your critters! I am available most weekdays & weekends starting around 11am. I carefully follow provided instructions to show my best care to each of my furry clients. I treat them as though they are my very own and am careful to always keep animals collared/harnessed and leashed (when applicable). My furry clients' safety is my first priority at all times. I will be sure to keep pets safe and secure, securing any enclosures and locking up the home upon my departure. Additionally, I maintain notes/records of client care/interactions and am happy to offer updates on a schedule that works for the family of the pet I am caring for.
About: My experience with pets is life long! I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals, worked on a horse farm and dog sat all throughout my teen years. I work in downtown Kelowna full time but my hours vary week by week. But I always have time for a nice long walk with your dog during the day! I do not offer pet care in my own home as I don't have the right outdoor space for it. I take great care to ensure your dog is safe, secure and happy during all walks and drop in visits. I also take great care when house sitting, making sure to leave it in even better condition than when I arrived.
“Lora is reliable, lovely with animals and an outstanding caregiver to our young dog, Rupert. Highly recommend and grateful to her for looking after Rupert and taking him for daily walks. She’s superb!”

“Viktoriia was amazing with Otis! I got lots of updates and she was great with her communication. He was nice and tired from going to the beach and playing. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Alicia hosted our four year old Vizsla dog while we were out of town. She provided excellent care for our active and sometimes emotional hound dog. From the first meeting our dog was relaxed and comfortable in her care and she has a great set up for taking care of a dog that likes human companionship through the day. Her commitment to getting our active breed dog out for some good adventures was also above and beyond. We are so satisfied with her service and hope she will take care of our dog again! I would absolutely recommend her dog sitting services”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, and personalities. Friends and family regularly trust me to care for their pets while they’re away, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering medications when needed, and keeping them on their normal routines. As a registered nurse, I’m responsible, attentive to detail, and comfortable following specific care instructions. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and recognizing when a pet’s behaviour or needs may change. I’m also a pet owner myself and know that every animal deserves individualized care, plenty of affection, and a safe, loving environment. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable and cared for while giving owners peace of mind through reliable communication and regular photo updates. I work 3-4 days per week as a registered nurse and am looking into fitting pet care into my schedule. I am available Thursdays, most Fridays, and weekends. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I prioritize safety, provide plenty of attention and exercise, and carefully follow any special instructions or medication schedules. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.
“We had the absolute BEST experience with sylvie and her family! Our dog Annie was completely spoiled , it was like Annie was on a true holiday! They took her on amazing walks , swimming in the lake and so many fun adventures! Sylvie gave multiple updates and pictures daily ! And she was truly a joy to leave our dog with. I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you so so much sylvie for giving Annie the BEST time ever !”

“Gail is fantastic!! Pepper took to her almost immediately, and by the time we came back to get him he came down the stairs to greet us and then went back up to wait for her to come down again with him, which means he really loved her. I’ve only ever seen him do this with me. We’re so very pleased with the care he received while with her 🥰”

“Ashley took great care of our dogs while we were gone, and they loved their time at her house and with her dog as well. She was prompt with communication in booking and provided multiple video and photo updates while we were away. Highly recommend and will definitely book again with her😊”
