About: I grew up on a dairy farm and caring for animals has always come naturally for me. We always had farm dogs and cats but then at the age of 12 I became the owner of a little beagle puppy that stole my heart. Brandy was my dog until I moved away from home. Over the years, I had two more dogs and six cats in my life! When my last dog passed, I missed him so much and asked my hairdresser if I could look after her little poodle. I really enjoyed his company and the opportunity to get out for walks with him. I am retired, so my daily schedule is very flexible. Whenever I am needed, I can be available, whether it's early morning or late afternoon. If I care for your pet, I would want you to tell me about any special diet or medication requirements. I will appreciate knowing any specific rules that you might have for the care of your pet.
“We couldn't be happier with the care Julia gave our dog while we were away! Leaving our pup at her house was so easy because she kept us updated the whole time with plenty of notes and photos. Our dog has medications that need to be given regularly, and Julia took care of it with zero issues. Our small dog also got along great with her big dog Blu, which was awesome to see. Julia genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and treats them like her own. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we travel. “I don't usually leave my dogs with anyone other than family. I was worried how the dogs would text as my one dog is usually very slow to warm up. My other dog has a traumatic past and can be temperamental. Both my pups also take vitamins and medication. Rhonda took great care to understand what they needed. She also set up lots of cozy spots for them to explore and snuggle. I was worried as my dogs sleep with me and have never slept alone. She had them sleep with her and they slept soundly. I felt like they were very well taken care of and even got attached to Rhonda and her husband. I felt confident my dogs got everything they needed and more!”

About: I have owned at least one dog for 20 years and have fostered dogs for the last 15 years. We excel at chilling and enjoying the outdoors (walking/hiking). I am open to pup sitting 7 days a week, at your house or mine. I will take great care of your pet like it is my own! As a recent retiree, I have flexible time to take care of your pup(s). I am available 7 days a week and will care for your dog like it is my own...and mine are pretty spoiled. Although I do not have a yard, I enjoy walking my dogs and playing with them inside and out. My 2 dogs are easy going and will keep your pup company. My house is really a big dog house. They are allowed to snuggle on a dog bed or on the couch.
About: I have taken care of guinea pigs, hamsters all my life. Have owned cats and currently have 2 cavachons and two Guinea pigs in my home I work mon-fri 830-430 as a nurse. I have to walk my own dogs, Happy to walk new pet friend or care for them in our home. I live in a townhouse with a school field near by. I also routinely walk or hike my own dogs and they loves extra company. We also have two caged guinea pigs.
“Sylvie and her family took our 10 year old Bernese Mountian Dog into their care for 6 days and loved her up, which as you know Bernese thrive on love. They took excellent care of her. They have a beautiful home and fenced space outside. At the end of a cul de sac so very safe. And they took her for hikes to the lake which our Berner lives for those daily walks. Lovely family and people. We know our girl is in the hands of family when she is there. Thanks so much Sylvie.”

My Great Dane/ English Mastiff had amazing stay! He was well taken care of and given the attention he loves. “If my other half and I could give Melissa and her family 10 stars we would. She took our 2 fur babies last min when a "Pet friendly " motel wasn't it was dog friendly and we had no where to go with the cats. The kids and our cats loved each other which was wonderful and Melissa helped us to feel good about having to board our cats. She even sent us amazing pictures. We will keep Melissa and her family as our main boarders. Thanks to the whole family 😉😏🤓”

My little dog just spent 10 days with Jeanine and, as always, he’s super excited as soon as I pull up at her place. He loves to snuggle with her dog and run in her yard. I’ve moved to a nearby town but still drive in to Kelowna for boarding because I know he loves her place so much.
Courtney has looked after my 3 senior dogs a couple times now and is great with accommodating their needs like administering medicine & picky eating. My 15yr old Wheaten terrier is fairly deaf, blind and struggles with bowel incontinence and it was challenging to find someone to look after him specifically - and Courtney was really great with my old boy.
Julia was a fabulous sitter for our dog! She was very attentive and sent daily updates. Mugsy got along great with her dog Blu as well…I think he was secretly sad he had to leave! Glad to know we found a reliable, friendly and accommodating fur baby friend. Many thanks to Julia, Jason and Blu…Mugsy misses you!! We will definitely rebook with Julia in future! 🐶🐾🦴
Morgan and Kodi were absolutely amazing with Cedar! We had never really left her with anyone outside of family before, so I was a little nervous, especially being all the way across the ocean for a week. But we really needn’t have worried at all. They were both so kind, caring and sweet with her, and looked after her incredibly well. Cedar had a bit of a stomach ache while she was there, and Morgan kept me updated throughout and was so attentive. I also ended up having to extend my trip, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating. Communication was fantastic, and I loved getting daily updates. Most importantly, Cedar clearly had a great time and really came out of her shell, which was so nice to see. It was very reassuring to know that she was happy and comfortable, especially being so far away. I honestly couldn’t have asked for someone better to look after Cedar. I’m so grateful to Morgan and Kodi for taking such wonderful care of her. I’d happily book with them again and would definitely recommend them! Thank you very much ☺️

Skye and Nate were great and Pica had such a fun time! They were very communicative from the start and we're able to accommodate a last minute booking. They took Pica for lots of walks and even some runs. They sent me daily pictures which is always appreciated. I would definitely have them watch Pica again :)

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
