They were so sweet, and Tibby even came home with a loot bag (which she LOVED). Nancy kept us updated with lots of pictures of Tibby. Nancy and Paul are very experienced, and Scruffy's Hideaway is a beautiful space with a huge backyard. I would not hesitate to bring Tibby to them again, we highly recommend it!”

About: Lifelong animal lover and friend, I’ve been caring for friends’ and family pets for as long as I can remember. Now instilling the same love and respect for animals in my two boys. We are a loving family who will treat your pets like royalty. In saying that, I will be the primary caretaker for your animals, but my children live in the home and will be interacting with your pet(s) at times. Please keep this in mind if your pets don’t like children as there may be a better fit for you 🙂 I am a Registered Nurse working part-time on a rotating schedule with tons of availability and flexibility. Your pet will never be alone for more than 2 hours at my home. I have a fenced yard backing onto a beautiful golf course and have the ability to crate your dog if required. Your dog will spend as much time in or outside as you like.

About: I would absolutely love to take your fur baby for a walk. I’m confident and patient with training, and very comfortable with senior dogs. I lost my miniature pincher a couple of years ago. I have lots of love to give and am an avid hiker 🙋🏽‍♀️ Small dogs (or puppies) work better for me as I have a tiny car and I’m not super strong with large dogs pulling. As a small business owner for over a decade, I understand the importance of reliability, communication, and attention to detail. I’ll treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I’d want for my own! I live in a pet friendly building so if they get hot or tired, they can chill with me at home between pickup/drop off . I have lots of blankets!!

About: We had a beautiful Golden Retriever 2013-2025 who went everywhere with me and was never left alone. I loved being with him, caring for him and other friends pets, walking, brushing, veterinary drop offs and collections as well as caring for elderly dogs too. I love all dogs. Will be with the dogs all day in my home and we have beautiful trails right at our doorstep for quick walks or longer hikes. Happy to be slower if dogs are older or small or longer if they have lots of energy. I work from home so pets would never be left alone, I have set up my work to fit in with caring for our own pet as a priority. Have looked after our own dog and walked 4-5 times daily with shorter potty breaks and longer excercise trips for 12 years. I have no fenced yard but have a provincial park and walking trails directly at my door so walking is never a problem. My own golden retriever will go outside for a variety of mini walks and a longer walk daily or we can take the car to other parks if requested.

About: I am a favourite pet sitter for friends and family because I treat them like my own since I no longer have my own dog. I like to follow their schedules and ensure there are a lot of walks, play and attention. Boarding available for weekends, I work full time during the week but can do 3-4 day weekends with walks in the mornings, evenings and a mid-day pee break. Your pet would be the only pet in the home. I live downtown in a secure, pet friendly building that has a private dog run. Walkable to Knox Mountain and the dog park.
