About: I am a favourite pet sitter for friends and family because I treat them like my own since I no longer have my own dog. I like to follow their schedules and ensure there are a lot of walks, play and attention. Boarding available for weekends, I work full time during the week but can do 3-4 day weekends with walks in the mornings, evenings and a mid-day pee break. Your pet would be the only pet in the home. I live downtown in a secure, pet friendly building that has a private dog run. Walkable to Knox Mountain and the dog park.

“I don't usually leave my dogs with anyone other than family. I was worried how the dogs would text as my one dog is usually very slow to warm up. My other dog has a traumatic past and can be temperamental. Both my pups also take vitamins and medication. Rhonda took great care to understand what they needed. She also set up lots of cozy spots for them to explore and snuggle. I was worried as my dogs sleep with me and have never slept alone. She had them sleep with her and they slept soundly. I felt like they were very well taken care of and even got attached to Rhonda and her husband. I felt confident my dogs got everything they needed and more!”

About: I have a dog whom is deaf and has hip dysplasia I do my best to provide the care she needs. She is still young so is active and love to play out in the yard. The only things that are on my schedule is a few hours on Tuesday nights and a few hours on Sunday mornings so having such an open and flexible schedule really allows me to help give the care pet owners need when coming to pet sitting. When it comes to pet sitting, it is best to follow the instructions given from the owner and to give them updates so they have that reassurance and to make sure that the pet is as stress-free as possible because of them being without their honour is just a stressful for them sometimes.

our dog adores Carla, which makes the rare times we leave her that much easier to navigate. Carla takes wonderful care of our 85lb meatball, with plenty of exercise and adventures and photos shared! we can see how relaxed mabel is with her and we especially appreciate that she shares her couch for cuddles :)
Skye and Nate were great and Pica had such a fun time! They were very communicative from the start and we're able to accommodate a last minute booking. They took Pica for lots of walks and even some runs. They sent me daily pictures which is always appreciated. I would definitely have them watch Pica again :)
Jeanine was absolutely incredible with our 2 babies when we went on vacation. From our first visit I knew they would be in great hands. Jeanine LOVES dogs and I knew our sucky, cuddly dogs would get all the attention and love they needed. Our eldest dog requires insulin injected every 12 hours and Jeanine was happy to do so. She communicated and sent pictures throughout our trip and we knew our babies were well taken care of. We picked them up happy and healthy! Thank you Jeanine for opening your home to Cali and cooper! Morgan provided excellent care to my dog Winston while we were away for the weekend. She sent plenty of photo updates, followed our instructions carefully, exercised Winston well above our expectations, and even hand fed him when he was reluctant to eat. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
