“Jeanine is a jewel. We feel so fortunate to have found her. Our 2 year dog had never been away from us, and has a few behavioural issues. Jeanine was so patient and kind with him. She provided us with daily updates on his socialization progress. We were always kept in the loop with photos and videos. It made us feel so assured to see him come out from hiding under her table to actually playing with her dog in the yard. The whole experience, for us, was a complete success. Thank you, Jeanine. With gratitude, Diane and Johann”

“Jutharat is SO sweet, she sends lots of photos and updates. She has a really nice big fenced backyard that backs on to forest trails. This is the 2nd time my dog has stayed with her and I would absolutely book with her again or recommend her! My dog always has the best time with her :)”

“Anothai was amazing withy Odie. Sending pictures and video throughout the day for his whole stay, which was 5 days. I honestly think if Odie could talk, he’d say he’ll stay with Anothai and that I can come visit. Anothai was good with his medication and meals so that was a lot of stress of my mind. I will always use Anothai when I’m in Kelowna - ALWAYS!”

“This is our first time booking with Rover.com. Joseph and Tina were the care providers for Charlie and Murphy. We are very happy with the care and attention our boys received. Our dogs settled in well and seemed very content with the experience. Joseph and Tina have a great home and yard to accommodate larger dogs. They were very flexible and allowed time for the dogs to get oriented and comfortable. It is important for Charlie and Murphy to get ample exercise, which Joseph and Tina were more than happy to make happen. All in all it was a great experience. We will not hesitate to book with them again.”

“From the start, we knew our dog was going to be in good hands. We could really relax on our vacation, knowing she would be well taken care of. Kelene was great with communication and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. Thank you Kelene!”

About: I completed professional training in dog handling and have owned and cared for two dogs, one during my childhood and one currently. I also have experience walking and managing different dogs. My passion for dogs and commitment to their well-being make me an excellent choice for pet care. With my child at daycare from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, I have a flexible window to dedicate to pet care. At evenings I’m also available if you need. So I’m very flexible. I can easily fit in dog walking, feeding, and playtime visits. My routine allows me to provide attentive, consistent care, making sure pets are happy. When caring for dogs in their own homes, I follow the owner’s specific instructions to ensure their pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m flexible and attentive to each dog’s needs, whether it’s feeding, playing, or relaxing. I also offer off-leash walks in nearby parks for extra exercise and enjoyment, providing a safe and happy experience.
“Cielo was a fabulous a sitter for our little guy. She kept us posted with pictures! She lives close to our place and it was nice to see he had another pal to chill with. Last minute accommodation was a delightful surprise. Thanks Cielo!”

“Chalan and Joel and their girls are THE BEST I have met thus far. And I have had experiences using sitter's across Canada due to our traveling schedules. Their house is clean. The whole family is just full of love for dogs. My baby is newly blind so it's hard for me to find anyone that'd be patient enough to take care of her. But after just 1 day, I know my worries are not necessary. My dog was pampered and spoiled. I highly recommend Chalan and her family.”

“Suzanne took very good care of our senior dog, Pepper. She kept us updated with how he was doing over the weekend. She is a very nice person and I would recommend her to anyone who needs someone to take good care of their dog!”

“We are happy to be a returning customer of Bryden and Colleen pet boarding services. They take such good care of Betina, she comes back home relaxed and happy! Thank you so much!”

“Alicia hosted our four year old Vizsla dog while we were out of town. She provided excellent care for our active and sometimes emotional hound dog. From the first meeting our dog was relaxed and comfortable in her care and she has a great set up for taking care of a dog that likes human companionship through the day. Her commitment to getting our active breed dog out for some good adventures was also above and beyond. We are so satisfied with her service and hope she will take care of our dog again! I would absolutely recommend her dog sitting services”

“There arent enough stars...Crystal takes such incredible care of our little guy. He is very unsure of new people, can show separation anxiety, and independance all in a little eight pound bundle. So we were very nervous trying someone new....But...He took to Crystal like he knew her his whole life. She is caring, loving and just has the right vibe for these little guys. She is super attentive, sent lots of up dates with pics. Most importantly...He loves her so much. We have booked with he a few times now and will continue to book with her. So happy to have her in our lives, its incredibly important to have confidence in your pets caregiver. Like I said....there are not enough stars to describe how Great Crystal is.🥰”

Skye and Nate were great and Pica had such a fun time! They were very communicative from the start and we're able to accommodate a last minute booking. They took Pica for lots of walks and even some runs. They sent me daily pictures which is always appreciated. I would definitely have them watch Pica again :)

Jeanine was absolutely incredible with our 2 babies when we went on vacation. From our first visit I knew they would be in great hands. Jeanine LOVES dogs and I knew our sucky, cuddly dogs would get all the attention and love they needed. Our eldest dog requires insulin injected every 12 hours and Jeanine was happy to do so. She communicated and sent pictures throughout our trip and we knew our babies were well taken care of. We picked them up happy and healthy! Thank you Jeanine for opening your home to Cali and cooper! Highly recommend her for any medium- small sized dog in kelowna!

This was our third time leaving Sassy with Pippa, and once again she provided exceptional care. Pippa is a wonderful dog sitter who genuinely loves and understands dogs. She keeps us updated, and we always know that Sassy is safe, happy, and well cared for. When Sassy is with Pippa, we can truly relax and enjoy our vacation with complete peace of mind. We are so grateful to have found someone we trust so much with our dog. We highly recommend Pippa to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and professional pet sitter.Thank you, Pippa!

Morgan provided excellent care to my dog Winston while we were away for the weekend. She sent plenty of photo updates, followed our instructions carefully, exercised Winston well above our expectations, and even hand fed him when he was reluctant to eat. I was able to relax in vacation knowing he was in great hands. We will be using her again!

Anna took amazing care of Frijolito while we were away. She constantly sent us photos and fun videos of him, and in every single one he looked happy, relaxed, and completely at ease. It was clear she cared for him as if he were her own. That gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was not only being well cared for, but also truly enjoying his time with her. We are incredibly grateful for her attention, kindness, and dedication. I highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pet. We would absolutely choose her again without hesitation! Thanks Anna! 🫶

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
