Working remotely provides me with incredible flexibility. My 'office' is wherever I am, meaning your pets will have 24/7 companionship and supervision during house sits. I am there for every potty break, feeding, and midday snuggle. I generally keep a consistent routine but can easily pivot to match your dog's specific schedule, ensuring they never feel lonely while you are away.

For house sitting, I maintain a tidy, secure environment and strictly follow your home's safety rules (leash protocols, off-limits areas, etc.). I am highly experienced with the physical requirements of handling giant breeds and am well-versed in positive reinforcement techniques. Information Carla C. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care, I love knowing about your dog including specific hand signals, commands, or any quirks. Please let me know if they have any 'jobs' they love, their leash manners (especially for large/giant breeds), and any dietary or medical needs. Knowing what motivates them most, whether it’s a favorite toy or a specific treat helps me build an immediate bond. Finally, please share their typical exercise needs so we can hit our daily step goals together!
A typical day
Our day starts early with an hour long morning walk and breakfast, followed by 'office time' where I work remotely while your pup relaxes nearby. I provide frequent potty breaks and midday play sessions to break up the day. In the afternoon, we head out for a longer, more structured walk or a visit to a local park to hit my step goals and get some fresh air. I love incorporating enrichment activities like snuffle mats or basic command reinforcement using positive techniques. Evenings are for unwinding with dinner, a final stroll, and lots of quality couch time. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as close to 'normal' as possible so they feel completely at ease!

Pet care experience
As a remote worker, I offer the ultimate peace of mind: true 24/7 companionship. Your pets won't just be visited, they will have a consistent, professional presence in their home to maintain their routine and keep them company all day. My pet care journey began at age 12 as a groomer’s assistant. I eventually took over the overnight care for the business, managing everything from Papillons to Irish Wolfhounds. Having a mother who was a dog trainer, I was raised in the world of group walks and training classes. I have a deep love for large & giant breeds. Having owned a Mastiff-cross (Thor) and a Cane Corso (Luna), I am highly comfortable and experienced with the strength, temperament, and specific needs of large breeds. My Care Philosophy: • Positive Reinforcement: I use reward-based methods to keep your dog's confidence high. • Enrichment Focused: Beyond just walks, I provide mental stimulation to keep pups happy. • Clear Communication: I prioritize learning your specific hand signals and commands to ensure total consistency while you’re away. • Active Lifestyle: I love staying active and am happy to provide structured, long-distance walks for high-energy dogs. I am detail-oriented, highly organized, and dedicated to treating your home and your pets with the utmost respect. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members!
Reviews

Carla was wonderful with my dog, who is a powerful boxer. I came back home after four days and found my dog completely relaxed. Carla took him out for walks, played and cuddled with him. All the things he loves. The pictures that Carla sent me also showed me how content he was. It really reassured me that he was having a great time and was not missing out on anything. A big THANK YOU, Carla!

Carla’s awesome! Our dog can be shy but is a real girls girl, and they hit it off immediately :) Mabel looked so happy and comfortable in every photo/video update - we’ve already rebooked with Carla on Rover again x

Carla is amazing with my dog Marley! She’s always very responsive, takes him on long walks, and is so understanding of his needs with his separation anxiety. Would highly recommend her to anyone 😊

Decided to book with Carla again because it went so well last time! Vinnie is happy and relaxed after his second visit😊
