About: Hello! I have lived with dogs & cats numerous times over the years and miss being around them! I grew up with many small animals well loved including a tarantula, gold fish, frogs, budgies, and a cockatiel. I have owned two guinea pigs as an adult and absolutely spoiled them with a massive cage and toys, to make up for the one I had as a kid I didn't know how to take care of and have extensive knowledge with them. I also have experience watching bearded dragons, crested geckos, and other small animals. I love looking up information on different animals and breeds as I get to know them and further my knowledge. Thank you for considering me! I work part-time and attend school. Caring for animals is a wonderful way to relax and enjoy life and the personalities that all different animals offer. I am very cautious with plants, things left on the floor, food sensitives and any instructions and needs that the animal has to offer, and you request to feel reassured leaving your pet in my hands.

About: I am a responsible and well-experienced pet caregiver who would treat your fur baby like they were my own. I have had animals in my life since childhood, including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, horses, chickens, ducks, rodents...you name it, I have probably had it! For dogs, I am available for walks, hikes, in-home sitting, overnight boarding, training, feeding, medication administration, belly rubs, nail trims, and playing fetch and/or other games for stimulation and enrichment. I am confident with all sizes and breeds of dogs. For cats, I am available for drop-in visits, in-home sitting, overnight boarding, feeding, administering medications, nail trims, and providing snuggles. I will also care for reptiles, birds & farm animals of all kinds (just not in my home of course, haha). Most recently I had a cat and a dog, both of whom I said goodbye to earlier in 2026 - so now I looking to fulfill my love for animals by caring for others' babies. Please reach out if you think it may be a good fit! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I am easily able to schedule my day around your pet's needs. I am also easily able to bring my work with me, so I can house-sit / pet-sit at your home if that is the preference. There is a beautiful pond and park with walking trails within 200m of my home. I have an outdoor enclosed patio to provide a safe outdoor space for animals (and me!). I also live within walking distance to Knox Mountain where I frequently go for longer hikes (5-10km). I work from home and am a home-body, so your pet would almost always have company, with minimal time alone. I am willing to follow your pet's home routine as closely as possible, and am able to crate your pet when I do leave them alone, if that is your preference.

“Toni is amazing! She did drop off visits for my french bulldog for about 2 weeks. He’s a bougie little guy who gets his lunch meal prepped (due to pancreatitis) and heated up. She came by for about an hour everyday and fed him/ took him out. She also took the time to do drop by introduction before taking care of him. After the first visit he was waiting by the door looking for her the entire night when I get home. If I afford to hire her full time I would. Highly recommend trying her out if you need someone to care for your pets!”

About: I bring hands-on experience with puppy and kitten development, training, reactivity management, socialization, agility training and pets medical, dietary and behavioural needs. I’m observant, patient and comfortable adapting care to each animal’s temperament and routine. I have owned and cared for dogs from Boston terriers to Pitbull Sharpeis, and have managed through every obstacle possible with two sassy rescue cats, as well as provided pet sitting and boarding in my network, many times through the years. Most recently I provided daily walks, drop ins and training sessions to my neighbour and his Husky pup for 3mo earlier this year. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I’m currently flexible and available for house sitting, drop-ins and walks. I’m comfortable building my day around a pet’s established feeding, exercise, training and care routine. I prioritize a calm, clean and secure environment, following your instructions and keeping pets’ routines as consistent as possible. I use attentive supervision, clear boundaries and positive reinforcement, while treating your home with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: We have owned many dogs and are very experienced and caring dog owners. We love dogs and will take very good care of your fur baby while they are under our care in our home. We will play with them both inside and outside and take them for several walks while they are in our care. I am retired and my husband works from home so we are able to watch your dog for extended periods of time. We will take them out often for a stretch, to exercise and to do their business. We have large front and back yards, as well as many walking trails just outside our door with plenty of room for your dog to run and get their exercise. We don’t currently have our own pet, but love dogs and will take very good care of your pet while we dog-sit. We live in a small gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. We often watch and board our friends’ Labradors while their owners travel.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Michaela! She was available at the last minute when the sitter we had booked weeks ago cancelled the day before our trip. Because of this, we weren't able to set up a meet and greet and both parties just needed to trust each other. It could not have worked out better! Her communication was excellent, the updates were very detailed and specific, and our kitty Sodapop looked comfortable and happy in every picture we got. We typically take him to my in-laws when we go away and he's become quite a wreck about it. We were a little nervous at first ( we'd never had a stranger as a pet sitter in our home) but Sodapop was calmer in his own environment, and he settled back into routine almost immediately when we got home. About: I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, and have grown up around them. I’m very close with my family dog, Kaia, a 14 year old bichon Shih Tzu. I have many years of hands on experience caring for her, including attending puppy training classes together, she has taught me patience, kindness, and how important it is to make a dog feel loved safe and comfortable. I’m caring, and responsible and genuinely enjoy taking dogs for walks, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention. I hope to have a dog of my own one day so caring for other people’s pets is something I truly enjoy and take great pride in. Very available weekends, afternoons, and evenings. Available some days during the week depending on my work schedule. Happy to take your pet for long or short walks or even overnight. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family. About: I love going for walks and training my second rottweiler, Brembo! I love the breed as they are excellent family dogs, great snugglers, and match my energy levels. I love big dogs but I'm also no stranger to small and medium pups! My family has had small dogs for the past 20 years, who I have cared for during my time living with them, and my previous roommates had two medium dogs who I loved to go for walks with. I have previously house and dog sat for up to 5 weeks at a time. I am active and caring, and I love walking and running, especially with a buddy! In addition to walking and hiking with Brembo, I have taken my roommates' dogs on hikes and big runs, and love having a pup to join me while getting active. I love to do training while we are walking, such as sitting while waiting to cross the street or practicing stay and come. I am looking to pick up other dogs while walking or hiking with Brembo, or stop in for short visits (without my dog) to play, give potty breaks, and provide meals! I also work from home full time during the week, so I'm happy to host your pup for the day and take them out for a walk or potty break at least every 2 hours. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out! I work from home full time - I have my own digital marketing business and I set my own hours. I am available most days between 9-5 and would love to take your dog out for activity, come for a short visit, or host them at my place! I leash dogs before we go outside to ensure they are by my side and so that we can easily get back indoors. I take dogs for walks from your place, or drive with them in the back of my SUV if we are going to a hike.

My dog passed away recently, so please be patient with me: ****Dogs 5 years old and up, and Senior dogs preferred***** I want to be very clear that I am a dog sitter not a trainer. I do not watch dogs who are not fully house trained, have major separation anxiety, stress accidents, don't sleep through the night, who are in the teething/chewing phase, or have been aggressive and bitten dogs or people in the past. Trainers do exist out there, they charge a lot more money, and I am not one of them. If you have never left your dog with a stranger before, I am not your sitter***** Just because they behave well at home or at Grandma's house doesn't mean they won't be anxious at a new sitters house. What I do provide is the following: My main services involve providing food and water, brushing, taking pets to vet appointments, administering medicine, taking dogs out for a walk, and providing companionship. I only accept 1 or 2 dogs at a time, so that I can give great care! I often go for hikes and will bring the able dogs with me. (Please have dogs treated against fleas and ticks), and I also take those who are able to the dog parks. For senior dogs who prefer to be walked shorter distances, I bring them on a leash around the block. Prior to each dog sit, I always like to receive a full brief from the owners with a specific focus on the pet behavior and requirements. While on duty, I regularly take photos and videos of your dog(s) and share them upon request. You deserve a holiday, and your pet also, and I love to spoil them! Please bring your fur baby over clean with trimmed nails, a crate that is a proper size for your dog, also please wash their bed cover before coming over. I have had a fair few clients that bring their pet to me dirty, matted, and their bed is not clean, and as much as I love them I don't want dirty beds and dogs in my home. Thank-you for understanding. I am working full time from home so I will have lots of time to play and walk you dog that I board! I am home 7 days a week currently. Please respect my work schedule and appointments do vary, so meet and greets may also need to vary. I have a fenced yard in a townhouse downtown in Kelowna. I care for them by feeding and walking them twice a day. I have lots of flexibility in my schedule to attend to dogs needs. I require that all dogs are well groomed and flea and tick treated before staying at my place for the safety of my home, and other dogs. I do occasionally have to step out, so if your dog has major separation anxiety and barks a lot then I am not the right fit. Please read the rover guarantee in full. If your dog bites any other dog in my care and I have to take them to the vet then I will hold you responsible for the first $250 dollars rover does not cover. You will also be responsible for the claims process. If you are not a responsible pet parent, and willing and able to take responsibility for any damage your dog causes,please do not book with me. I take them out on walks and give them lots of cuddles. I prefer dogs who are 5 years old and older. Seniors are my favourite since I had a senior rescue for a long time. I have a fully fenced yard and my house is dog proofed. All food and treats are kept out of reach, and I make safety a priority.

About: I’m currently experiencing puppy fever, but I’m not entirely sure if I should commit fully to a pooch at this point as I am in a apartment. But for short visits and long walks would be amazing at this time. Looking forward to getting to meet your little one! I grew up with a beautiful golden retriever who loved the outdoors and swimming. I miss her sooo much. I’m thinking about getting a smaller dog! So here I am, willing to care for your precious pup. Looking for companions to keep me busy and someone to take on long walks. I work from 3pm-11pm Tuesday-Saturday. I also have Sunday/Monday completely free :) I would prefer dogs to come stay with me, but willing to come to yours if your dog prefers to stay at home. I make sure nothing is left out for the dogs to get into. I follow personalized instructions to respect the owners training. We go for walks that are suited to each dog.

I love dogs and would provide the best care for them wether just a walk or pet sitting. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention, exercise and companionship they need. I genuinely love spending time with animals and am happy to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, playtime and pet sitting throughout the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. About: My experience with pets is life long! I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals, worked on a horse farm and dog sat all throughout my teen years. I work in downtown Kelowna full time but my hours vary week by week. But I always have time for a nice long walk with your dog during the day! I do not offer pet care in my own home as I don't have the right outdoor space for it. I take great care to ensure your dog is safe, secure and happy during all walks and drop in visits. I also take great care when house sitting, making sure to leave it in even better condition than when I arrived.
