About: Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile :) I grew up with pets of all sorts around the house and I have experience house sitting dogs both large and small breed. I have also worked with a dog behaviorist to help train and care for my last older rescue dog who had issues with anxious biting. I know how to compassionately handle dogs that wear muzzles, e-collars etc. and negotiate situations with nervous or aggressive dogs. My animal care approach is defined by patience, trust-building, and personalized attention. I do my best to listen to pets cues so that they receive the care they need. When your pet is with me, they're in capable, caring hands! I work part time and am free most days to take your four legged family for walks, come hang out or pick them up! I am also often free on weekends I treat all the animals I interact with as individuals with different needs and personalities and always treat your pets and your space as if it were my own. I want to make your pet feel like its at a home away from home, which means keeping their regular schedules while adding that extra play or cuddle time to keep them entertained and loved. About: I’m very active and have my dog out walking at least three times a day. I generally walk between 3-7km each walk. If house pet sitting I will likely have my pup along as well as when walking but I can also do solo if need. I am able to walk or let pets out early mornings, afternoons and evening most days with flexibility on weekends. Staying in homes can be during the week or weekends I like walking along trails and prefer it over a dog park. I can socialize if need be at dog parks after I and the pup have gotten to know each other! I personally find the dog parks chaotic and some owners not as caring or mindful of all needs Im a RN student, based in Penticton and travel to Kelowna a couple days. I have free time to fill with walks and care. Being outside with animals is my happy place. I live in a condo so I get my pup out many times a day for breaks! We are willing to walk with another dog or solo.

“I have a cuddly American Bully who is quite high maintenance and demands a lot of attention. Cassidy has always been very attentive with Khali and always gives her the attention and care she needs and you can see how much fun they both have together. I have certain rules for Khali to minimize unwanted behaviour and I trust Cassidy to implement them to avoid Khali from begging, jumping up, etc. Cassidy is also very neat and tidy so I never have to worry that something will be left out that Khali can get into. I highly recommended Cassidy to anyone who wants someone to treat their dog and home like their own.”

About: Apart from being an animal lover, I am a naturally warm and nurturing person. After living with cats and dogs during my 20's I have fallen into pet-sitting by happenstance a few years ago. It is not until recent, that I considered doing this professionally. People trust me and so do the animals. I have really enjoyed getting to know each pet and their personalities and having fun together. I work with a winery, where dogs roam freely often. Currently, the season is low and I am mostly at home with plenty of spare time to care for your furr-babies! I am super flexible with timing. Let's just have a chat! In my home I am in a larger-sized apartment, situated near a beach. The home and building is pet-friendly and safetied. Although I lack a yard, I have ample time to spend outdoors taking your pet for a walk and to play at nearby parks. I provide general care every pet should have, in addition to any needs and instructions you provide for me to make sure your pet is loved and cared for while in my hands. I also have a history of house-sitting, so if you feel more comfortable having me come to your space to care for your pet I am happy to do so as well. Again, I am super-flexible and easygoing to arrangements.

About: My most recent experience comes from caring for our German Shepherd. He's a big boy and previous working dog. So I've learned to handle him on walks even when he's set off by other animals. In the past I've cared for a King Charles Spaniel and a couple cats. I think I am good at picking up on personalities and am intuitive of their needs. I have a flexible schedule that varies depending on the week and I would love to make time for your request. Just need to be sure Toro still gets his Dawn time 😊 I am good with instructions and you know what your little one likes best/ doesn't like so I'm all ears to ensure a happy pet.
